I, the Libertarian

Mind if I tell you, honestly, I’m a Libertarian A firm believer in the free will of the individual, A strong promoter of individual liberty … I have always called it “the priesthood of the believer,” The right to come to my own philosophy of religion, No hierarchies handing down edicts and creeds; No Popes, no judges, no “soul superintendents!” Politically, I believe we have too much government Infringing upon our individual lives; that we, the people, Are being over-taxed without sufficient representation By those we elected to consider our General Welfare: Who take us to war, while never having fought in one, Who take our money, while not hearing our voices. Who obfuscate and then…well, tell us outright lies, Who do not defend our liberties, but steal them Away from us little by little; and, one day we shall Awaken and wonder what happened while we slept!
