A mist drifts listlessly through a softly dozing sky,
A breeze whispers kisses to a swallow passing by,
A lover caresses his lady's silken hair,
Easing its tresses through the blissful air.
Some sheep bleat meekly on the hillside slope,
A horse moves somewhere at a casual lope,
Dusk is diminishing all traces of the day,
Silence is stealthily seeping through the haze.
