A Happy Dog Returns from the Vet
Ah, my Mother just filled my fondest wishes
Licking an ice cream cone, oh, it is delicous!
Vanilla ice cream for a great dog like me?
Tastes so soft, tasty, add a touch of heavenly.
I had my yearly shots and also, a haircut too.
Mom’s my favorite, she walks me to doggie loo!
I sleep soundly near her bed, when day is done.
I waken with her in joy to see the morning sun!
Going to the vet, of course,is really not my style.
But to be with my mother..golly, I’d run many miles!
