Why?
Why?
That's the question. Why?
Why?
Why?
Why?
Why do we live in a world that hates change
A world clinging to a past long gone
Why must hate be so common
Why does the world insist evolution is a myth to progression
Maybe it's just because they thrive in the tension
Maybe because if we cleared the fog of distraction
We would see their truth and teach them a lesson
Why in a world full of colour
Create division
Create an hierarchy
Of importance
Maybe that's just the art of human behaviour
One of greed and the itch to own power
The need to feel superior over one another
But the question lingers
Why?
Is equality a foreigner
Why?
Do people choose to hate or love each other
Instead of allies humans crave enemies
To claim superiority over those deemed weaker
Of those they claim to be inferior
But
The portrayal of a hard exterior
Is just a mask for the interior
Where the walls are built from envy
Haunted by the shadows of jealousy
An emptiness only fixed
By becoming racist
Why?
Because without us they wouldn't exist
A temporary inhabitant of the earth
For who else would do their labour
The only thing they know how to do is be slave owners
After all you can't grow crops by shouting slurs
