Pacify my Soul
In a quiet corner of a crowded town
Don't bear the blame with heads bow down
Mistake — If not yours
Then it's not yours.
Trust yourself and stand beside you
For no one knows you; better than you.
Sleep, my soul—you’ve cried enough.
The blame you carry is not your stuff.
Love and hatred—a double-faced coin,
Be it anything, you will be fine.
Be kind to you,
For they know not your war
They know not your journey,
Nor your inner scar.
If intention is pure
Just walk through with a smile
Bleeding all the way
you came across many a mile.
How long will you punish your soul for their mistake ?
Give some time
for the wound to break.
Morning shouldn't find you despair,
Rise again, with head held high in your own flair.
