Time Writes in Rhythms of Light

there were times when I did not understand him times when I fought with my heart, to remember time would not forget the days that were so grim it wouldn’t be that long, just before December he would tell us that love had come to his life years after this, I’d see that stirring ember sparks of hope divine to heal my worst fears, strife revealing how it feels when rain falls gently as He pours out love across the afterlife dancing through silence comes joy so contently bruising the sorrows with a story of light rushing to wake smiles of love so intently there were times when nothing ever felt just right but I knew One who kindled hope in my soul despite the times I warred with the bleakest night this shadow song restored his faith, made him whole with the Savior’s love, he was blessed with peace peace from believing in One who can console struggling with the sorrows, sadness would increase my heart began to see he’s a friend to me finally, I learned that love would never cease rushing, like wind reminding a busy sea even when I couldn’t see – God made a way stirring a song of hope inside, so I’d be… filled with faith in God’s grace, precious love to stay so that I know, even when I don’t understand there is One who can still the light of day and bring love to the heart, a love to withstand every fear, all the doubts, even salty tears knowing God’s strong and it will be as He planned listen to the voice of One who always cares the still, small voice that lingers in your ear revealing the wonder of kindness that repairs don’t forget, through all the days, throughout the year He is beside you, leading you past the pain He is the strength that won’t fail, always sincere whatever might come, I know One who assures with love, He’s the anchor in each storm that comes He’s the God who sustains – He’s mine and yours!
