Happy Freedom Day, In South Africa
Freedom was preached,
Millions of South Africans waited,
Waiting for many years.
The regime was very
Hash to some folks,
And privileged the minority.
Disadvantaged people
Cried yearly,
No one cared for them,
Discrimination and racism
Were the major problem
In the entire South Africa.
More black people were
Tortured,
Shot,
Chopped,
Arrested,
Hung innocently.
Some freedom fighters
Were put behind bars
Due to fighting
For their rights.
The way was long
To reach freedom.
Bright sun, moon and
Stars appeared,
The day and night
Were so bright.
Time for forgiveness
Which was called
" National Reparation."
Some wounds could be healed,
And damage fixed.
Some prisoners were released,
Peace and love reigned,
Rainbow nation
Was born,
And
Apartheid died.
Millions of people sung," freedom"
Because they were now free to do things
They could not do from
Many years.
