5K run was so much fun!
Never thought, I'd get it done!
One foot in front of the other,
Good friends cheering me on,
Talking my feet into moving along.
Out of energy,
Stumbling along,
Maybe if I sing a song!
I can make it to the end,
It's really not that long!
After staggering across the finish line,
Boy, I sure could use some wine!
But offered still water and coffee to swill.
I'll rehydrate,
Be ready for more,
As I head out the door!
Maybe next I won't be the last one in,
I'll shoot for next to last,
Thats still a win!
