The Prisoner
The Prisoner
(My Friend B.W.)
Written: by Miracle Man

He never envisioned, life being that way,
Often he wondered how much more he could take.
Progressively it worsened each passing day,
he had lost his will to fight- about to break.
I once viewed this man among “the tough old birds,”
but today I say that’s no longer the case.
Stress had rendered those to be flattering words,
he’s just about ready to give up the chase.
It doesn’t always take bars
to make a man a prison.
