The First Time I Laid My Eyes On You

I'd never seen the sun shine so bright
And a sky so vibrant blue
The sweeping meadow green was so lush
Until the day I first laid my eyes on you

Creation suddenly burst into ultra technicolour I had never seen
Be so in awe of such a spectacular picturesque mountain view
Sensations sweep over me in such euphoric ecstasy
Until the day I first laid my eyes on you

Pink cherry flower clusters set against that blue so beautiful
Bird song never as sweet painted Ladies dancing came into view
On the day I first laid my eyes on you

The softest pleasant breeze ever teased and tickled the leaves
I'd never seen cooing doves so in love and so true
Such beautiful rose petals display their hearts to the sun
On the day I first laid my eyes on you

The fresh air never felt so good caressing my skin so pleasantly
Flowers emit such sweet perfume so heavenly as they did do
A rippling stream so crystal clear and clean
On the day I first laid my eyes on you

Find the end of the rainbow and my pot of gold
Float on the clouds and drift so far away as clouds can do
The heaven above pours so much love into my empty cup
On the day I first laid my eyes on you

You breathed new life into my dying soul
Fix the pieces together of my broken lonely heart with loves glue
Opened up my eyes wide to view a world I never knew existed
On the day I first laid my eyes on you.

I am blessed in so many ways my heart smiles and the sun shines
Every morning In those deep ocean blue eyes,
