The Edge Of Night

Imagine, if you will, orbs of light superimposed on ebony space. Two portals, found at the edge of night, where dreams and reality embrace. Sharing shades of a violet hue, they seemingly brush darkness away. And as more colors come into view, light imbues night's magical array. Similarly, flaunting paradise, fate presents a choice of left or right. Offering Eden, not once but twice, dual sanctuaries shining bright. One shows hints of humans living there; beings that are imbued with a soul. It's difficult to see past the glare, but the wrong choice could levy a toll. Both orbs are equally lush and green, yet only one hints at human lives. On the left, a garden can be seen, while on the right, Mother Nature thrives. Like two mirrors surrounded by black; choose wisely on stepping through that glass. For, unlike Alice, there's no way back from where souls exist or souls trespass.
