End of Days

Far into tomorrow
Comes a time of great sorrow
The wickedness of mankind's ways
Brings on the end of days
Leaders pretend to be leading
With the lies they are feeding
Grows a bad seed
It starts to breed
Let us see where that might lead
Hate
becomes our fate
We see it to late
Nothing is the same
Who is to blame
Reaching for the sky
Hate begins to fly
Hope starts to die
And we the people
Tear down every single steeple
In search of our dreams
Nothing is what it seems
He
Becomes she
She him
We are all them
They are us
Why the fuss
Anything to hide the scar
Such a fancy car
Show you love
As they put on their glove
Hiding their attack
As the stab you in the back
Kindness is so rare
Cause nobody does dare
Unfair
The stain starts to spread
To the place hate has always lead
Still amongst us angels hide
I feel the tears they cried
Watching with their hands tied
The light starts to dim
Destroying life on a whim
Life held in disdain
Teardrops fall like rain
So much pain
Mankind,
There is no rewind
Be kind
Hate is just a tool
Used by a fool
Time goes by
Kneeling beneath the crimson sky
No one even dares to question why
More souls lost
Humanity pays the cost
Trusting no one they meet
Heads hung in defeat
Life starts to stall
Mankind starts to fall
The bad seed
Just continues to breed
 With each little dirty deed
Trust starts to fade
So falls global trade
Love starts to hide
It cannot follow, where hate does abide
Live is held so cheap
The people openly weep
My heart breaks
As the hate quickly takes,
More souls down
The world starts to slowly drown
Continuing along its fumbling
Ever stumping
Downward ride
Nowhere left to hide
I confide
My hope starts sink
As the world teeters on the brink
Lost souls
No goals
So filled with empty desire
They start the world afire
I watch it steadily grow higher Ashes fall from the sky
Softly I start to cry
Cause in the distance I see
The end of all that we be
An explosion so bright
A great ball of light
Its fire fills the skies
Blinds my eyes
The planet it fries
No longer can anyone smile
Cause after awhile
As the last of us start to get ill
The world becomes still
Hunger no longer burns
Time no longer turns
No lessons to learn
Just ashes building up so high
The last of us die
As the fire burns the sky
Mankind's greatest disgrace
The end of our race
End of life
No more strife
Not even animals get to survive
Nothing left alive
Cause nothing is left to see
This world as it now be
From the mind of madness
I can feel no more sadness
As the vision starts to fade away
Nothing left to say
Still softly I cry
I whisper my last good-bye
The vision forever burned into
Brain
I feel my energy drain
No wonder I'm insane
