Poetry is the utterance of the soul
“Poetry is the utterance of the soul”.
Mind freely think, soul searching ink
Flowing verses, limitless even in a blink.
Sharing what’s inside the soul, bleeding
hearts that tolls.
A conflicting words to a wounded soul
will not heal the hurts that boil.
Empathy to a destitute, is consoling
words of embrace to a painful pace.
A word of security from a kindred heart
ease the pain of a broken heart.
No matter how hard to bear, words of
compassion, is easy to share, that we care.
