The Greatest Honor That Can Be bestowed on Us
If only more knew that the two greatest honors,
That can be bestowed on us,
Is the one given to us,
By children who adopt us,
Giving their hear heart to us,
And trusting us,
Not to throw it under a bus.
Just as great an honor comes from their parent,
Who trusts the choice of the child or children,
Despite knowing how many times the child or children,
Have been let down,
Which must make her feel down.
If only more knew the honor bestowed on us
By those who put their trust in us,
There would be more unconditional Love to give back to them,
And happiness and joy would be restored to them,
Along with confidence and faith in the world around them,
So, they can achieve all the things that are open to them,
When the time seems right for them.
