And He
my dearest
maturest mate to date
has bitterly regressed
to a child irate
from man of logic
to impish state
a hexer vile
filled with hate
while I don't believe
I've changed a bit
he thinks me evil
my mother split
as saccharin
as the Harpie race
bewitching temptress
evil face
necessity
I do suppose
for his childish fit
to so dispose

Premium Member Ya Shoulda Read the Fine Print, Bubba
I see that Bubba’s so forlorn.
He’s too depressed to talk today.
Two months in a full-body cast
can keep one’s cheerfulness at bay.

He donned his super hero suit
and took a header off the roof
(two-story!) Nothing broke his fall.
He lies now, silent and aloof.

He’d failed...

OK, it's about that time.
It's time for me to annoy P D in rhyme.
Now what can I annoy Pd about this time?
P D broke this heart of mine.
P D made a fool out of me.
Sweet Lovable lunatic theKidster, Billy.
P D convinced me that I truly...

P D is VANE everybody.
P D craves fame and popularity.
Probably comes from a very dysfunctional family.
My poor little poet destroyer P D.
PD won't slam woman and do you know why?
She has nothing against women, but P D hates guys.
P D buy guys has most probably...

 the greater the hurt,
the great loss of trust,

Premium Member See Ya In Heaven

In the ten years since I officially retired
Had trouble keeping my old brain active
A major activity that's filled the void
It's poetry, which has kept my brain captive

Owe my well being to this wonderful site
Anxiously checking my inbox
To see who's sent me these glowing responses
Check it...

You Just Can'T Win, Can Ya
I serenade my wife each night
With songs both old and new
To show how much I love her
It just seems the thing to do

But she is not enamoured
To hear my dulcet tones
She says it's just annoying
And it grates upon her bones

She says “just you keep quiet,
And...

Chlamydia: How Do We Get Rid of Ya?
(This poem is not directed at innocent spouses)

Chlamydia

Chlamydia, Chlamydia,
How do we get rid of ya.?

Take up painting,
Stay at home.
Learn to play the saxophone.

Raise Chihuahuas.
Learn cabinetry.
Take ballet lessons,
Make furniture for the family.

Write a novel,
Even if it stinks,
Don’t drown yourself in alcoholic drinks.

Write a...

I need to write a poem today
One that will blow your mind away
It must be wild and serene
But that won't fit into this scene

It must be active, visual too
Like something I'd do at the zoo
Maybe, I'll pretend I've got the flu
But that won't work you'd...

Whoop’s, “that’s too funny oh stop your making me pee my pants.” Now that’s a good one, I’m so wet I need to change my pants.
Please stop my jaw hurts; I’m really serious it feels like it could fall off. Oh my stomach...

be tough

strap on those six-guns
silver spurs
and leather
cowboy chaps

throw on the saddle
and ten-gallon cowboy hat
mount him slowly
and keep it steady
there now

speed it up
pull back hard
and ride him rough
be tough
cowgirl
