Glory of her magnificence

Oceans apart buried under sandy shores, a rare pearl slept comfortably behind her walls. Fate must have been kind, for a common man like me, to stumble upon her shell. As I brushed away her debris, astonished - my eyes could not believe this beauty, revealed before me. Spellbound - I could not help but stare, stunned by the glory of her magnificence. As she took one step forward, unutterable sensations, took a hold of my emotions. Yet I remained motionless, overmastered by this majestic heavenly vision. And I could have sworn it was a dream, until the softness of her fingertips, graced the imperfections of my soul, and for the first time it felt perfect. All of a sudden it felt like we were floating, ascending towards a myriad of stars, with the moon guarding us silently. Stardust sprinkled with the sight of her smile - how fortunate was I, to celebrate this artistry. Her lips blossomed like flowers as they succulently caressed mine. Breathless, without saying a word her eyes acknowledged my vow for eternal devotion with ever lasting love.

Death of the Poet Destroyer

~The Untold Fatal Attraction Poem~

Mid-morning she sees the sun ahead
Her death flowed in a messaged bottle
Gazing into her brown eyes upon all open sores,
Her conscience dark and gray a never-ending war!
A giant cyclone of a thousand thoughts swirled around this little girl.
Inflicting away the pain, through the comfort of others pen
The way she twisted and twisted life’s perception was out of her control
Inside she knew the glass slipper was never hers to show off

She is baring nothing but a tainted pen, walking throughout eternity’s sand
A prosecutor of misdeeds, accomplishing what, without knowing the way
Departing from her fractured self, she begins to slip into a righteous form,
Twirling her twilight's pen like a baton, spinning it to one final stand

She awakens in a dream, where her sadness does not allow the light to reform
Her body is weak and pale against the birth of her undying sun
Staring down into the deepness of every-bodies abyss
Inside all souls is where she felt lighter, than the retarded sun gives
A crimson sky follows her just to reveal her diminished soul,
A life of shunning out the city glow will always dwell deep inside her
Sleeping under society as one, insulting the taste of innocent blood
Forgetting the vengeance, in a dimension where the pen is mightier than the sword

How did she let it come to this?
In one feeling she fell in love with the spirit of the living rhyme
Watching from a cave, with a diabolical look
Refusing to grasp the self - nature and kill off the destroyer's will
A price beyond this enigmatic world, craving to be just like them
Condemning her meaning to a blasphemy of white butterflies
Destroying her poetic meaning that was destined to dance a tangle of endless rage
In love with the essence of her deceased will
She clings on to the dimness and brilliance at the same time
All corpses lost beyond the girl in question,
Sympathetic in a bizarre language, she mutters out sweetness
Her heart mended, recognizing all the adoration and poetic addiction
Exchanging the real terror, fixated by the life force of her poetic destruction
Giving birth to a new revelation
Now she will never deceive her love for the making of true art,
Not wanting to belong in this wretched world with her destroying criteria,
Her soul sails looking for a new era where love will no longer generate
As she loathes the love and decides not to destroy this generation with hate

At last, longing this one day with the angel of death
With a closing teardrop, one last thought
My death will not be the end; only the ascension~

Uncharted Waters

An ocean tumbles through dreams of you. In depths unknown, I float above. Oh, how I long to dive beneath your surface, yet I am timid in matters of love. If brave, I’d have shown you the whole of my gushing heart, no less than tides of bliss. Seeking depths unknown, I long to dive beneath your surface. Searching your eyes, I want for treasures lost on the ocean’s floor. The sun, like a gold coin, drops, splashing this face of regret. I blush in secret thoughts of you and turn away from the endless shore. A swoop from seagulls catches the light of your smile and breaks the hush of late sky. Turning away from the endless shore of regret, I blush. My lonely shore may flood, a wish to bathe in the caress of you granted. I shall break from fear, to brave a rolling river between us. Down current, I’ll swim until I reach your ocean of sparkling blues. I would drown in the waves of your uncharted waters. Glorious would be death in the caress of you, your uncharted waters…glorious. Does your heart share this moon tonight

“For in your light I dream, as evening takes my hand” Silently I find my thoughts illumined by your beauty In soft shimmers of dancing silhouettes and patterns allowing far away breaths to sigh Eyes peer into velvet skies, visions set in motion eternally, find me stranded of this distance we share, north to south, longing for you Desperate for but a breeze, a movement of shadow, a hope of wishes made upon the early arrival of this crested view Lonely among the maples, towering soldiers lined at fielded boundaries, claiming wisdom as they too reach for your smile “And I yearn the knowledge of your distant view” Do you think, do you feel, do you dream of me from balconies high above hibiscus footpaths, candle lit in passing moments which flicker, enchant Drinking from a porcelain cup caressed by your hand, a touch my body pleads, soft fingers on smooth surroundings, ripples following moonlight sonatas, days of spring blooms and whimsical showers, flooding affections to wash over me, carry me to you This moon, suspended in charcoal heavens upon a beaded blanket of perfect pearls, beckons our dreams in simultaneous fashion “Does your heart share this moon tonight, with me”

A Poetry Collection

Hourglass

Sand falls
Through the glass
Love falls
Within the past
Memories dance
They never last
Head in my hands
As I stare overhead
At the hourglass

Falling Down Stairs

Stairs broken
Wheels unspoken
I fell
Grasping for air
Are you there?

Piano Keys

Playing me
Rhythms dancing free
Clouds in air
Notes tossed in despair
Are you there?

Voices

Echoes
Broken wings
Wounded sparrows sing
Clinging to clouds high in sky
Chirping symphonies
Knowing not at all the why
Never loved…
Never loved…
Never hugged
In solitude wonders fly
No one
No one is there

In the Key of Despair

Tap tap
Music in the ear
Flowing freely in the salty air
Beethoven, are you there?
In the breeze, I hear the notes
My mind runs away, it floats
Pain drowned in the river
Limbs frolic on shores of hope
Keys somber in black and white
As I touch them
It conveys the fright

Strings

Choking, not me, but the air
Credenzas and waves
Washing away the realities
Of all your trivialities
Whilst I whither and fade away
Inside a musical symphony
Strangled on lusty desires
Are you
Are you there?

Sleep

Notes hither and floating in the breeze
I look up
The moon
My last breath
My last hope
My last wish
A kiss from the one I never met
The moon hides under cloud
My eyes in tranquility close
The beat no longer in time
No longer there
Where ever I am going
My last thought
Are you there?

Violins and Other Things

Distractions
Deformed from loves inaction
Teardrops falling on time
Rolling down passages
Where darkness does dine
Notes high, notes low
Treble as I grasp the clef
The conductor knows all that is refined
In the end
He shall consume the wine
As I, was consumed by time

Masterpieces

The piano full of dust
Brushes dipped in paints
Now turn to dust
There is a poem over there
In the corner
By the naked painting
Of my Caribbean liver
That cried and wept
Day and night
Night and day
When willows swayed
And the raven landed
On the sill
Of the empty room
For I am no more

Silence whispers
Are you there?

Guitar Strings and Clouds

I caress the strings of discord
Melodies shouting
Displeasure
Credenza’s and interludes
Wine intrudes
The senses squished like sour grapes
Emotions boxed in crates
I caress philosophy
As my garden sadistically does undress
Taunting the desires of my illusions unrest
The rose and the rain drop
Embrace
I cry

Last Act

Once was life
One…… tear… one tear…… drop
One gasp of fear
Fate licking……………………… deaths ear

All I Am

Long slender tendril of mist in the morning snakes slowly across the cool water, wandering, endlessly, searching, moving slowly, seemingly without purpose, without direction, without destination. It fades like a ghost into the shadows, only to reappear when the filtered light winks anew and its silver coat of crystalline breath shimmers in its tears. It reflects the light of the lonely world through which it passes, like a wraith embarking on its unknowable quest, aimlessly meandering, the dark water, its home. Only briefly does he touch the occasional soul he encounters leaving cool moist kisses on smooth tender cheeks searching for the warmth he knows he will never have, the closeness he can never share. He remembers. Yes, each caress, each kindness. The gentle whisper of the trees as they speak among themselves, but they don't see him. They don't feel him as he slowly slips past. He watches as the fish jump to catch their morning meal of damsel flies, oblivious to his presence. He leaves a part of himself on each thing that he touches, each blade of grass, every grain of sand, the sweet scented petals that spring forth from the buds of the morning glory, the lovers embracing on the shore. How he envies each. Eagerly, openly he gives, asking nothing in return. Everything he has he gives, everything he is without expectation he gives, yet, no one sees him. But a moment of mystery, he soon becomes the fog that clouds the vision, nothing more than a haze to look beyond. No one shares, no one to share. Always alone. The sun peeks expectantly over the bleeding horizon sharing hints of the promise of a new dawn. He awaits. The light brightens as the shadows recede hiding like a child hides shyly behind his mother. Still he waits. The shining smile of the sun beckons him as he feels the hint of its warm rays, filling him. Impatiently he reaches up into its waiting arms. How he wishes to feel its caress. How he wishes to hold it against him, to feel its radiant glow. He twirls and spins like a whirlwind flying higher and higher until the sun's smile begins to wane. He knows he can never reach it. Looking down again he sees himself fading, the warmth he seeks the harbinger of his inevitable demise. Such longing he has. One last sad smile he offers, a radiance that encompasses him. Disappearing like his hope and desire he watches life as it awakens before him.

So Soft is the Sonnet of Willows

This is a very long poem and I will understand if you choose not to spend the time reading it.
It is something I wrote a long time ago and I thought I’d just put it out here in case anyone cared to read it.
Thank you, Chris

So Soft is the Sonnet of Willows Such is the heart of a dreamer Sought after deep in the mist Seeking the quest of a thirsting desire Falling to moments like this Peering the distant endeavor Calling the places I’ve known Sending out visions so endless in wonder Standing this ledge all alone Come to my heart always steady Shape it as how it should be Teach me the ways of your unending song Lyrics of comfort to me Lift me with phrases now spoken Take from my words on the page Collections of feelings I wear on my sleeve Shine me the light of your ways I am of clay so unmolded Bend me and shape me to form Open my heart with the keys of your love While dying I wish to be born Caverns so wide as I forage The depth of their history deep Shadows that follow the pathways I walk Stairways my soul it does keep Yours is my desperate reason Clinging to every fold Challenges lie in wake of the storm Northerly winds flowing cold I shan’t recoil destinations My mind it is set on the prize Temptingly so it does fan every flame Come I shall soon realize Time for the moment a danger Season’s of past now I fear As I declare my unending longing Wishing you ever so near Trapped as I traverse the mountain Chains of my pain garner tight Reaching for avenues lost in the fog Blinded by darkness of night Soon I will relive the mornings Joined by a perfect content Welcoming sunrise as everywhere glows Finding the hours we’ve spent Trusting that no one is watching Holding your hand on the street Wrapping my arms ‘round your waist for a while Kissing your lips soft and sweet Words that will require actions Motions in spite of the sky Threatening these clouds overhead as I walk Waving the past a good bye Now as my life is beginning Fortunate flags sure to wave Sending a secret embedded in stone Caution for this I do crave Asking this long winded journey Steps in the grass for to find Destiny praises my unfettered wishes Spent as the heart does unwind Yours is the hand that I reach for Save me in spite of my tears Love me for many more wars shall invade Filling the future with years Run with me out to the fields Keep me in sight at all turns Paint me with colors so vibrant and true Teach me for I want to learn I will not be so untrusting Pressures no longer to hide Truth is my shield as it shines ever gold Honesty I shall confide Come to my heart it is waiting Here in this darkened abyss Shining so bright for your eyes now to see Reaching for you that I miss I promise you shall not be sorry Taking this chance is the key Found in the corners of thoughts so inspired True as my covenant be I whisper my truth through the mountains Breathless I run to the shore Hopeful I patiently wait your reaction Searching for you evermore Soft is the sonnet of willows Wavering winds form the streams Blowing so that you may welcome my peace Singing the songs of your dreams Mine is a tiresome journey Treasures all cast to the bay Every dollar I’ve owned as a man Spent in a fortunate way For this is my precious possession A heart that does beat from above Carefully showing the face of the plan Showering you with my love Rain on the valley of passion Rose petal scent brings the breeze Take from this night the joys of affection Lingered in fresh memories This I do pledge, my heart crossing No longer wishing to die Rivers of hope that do wash on your feet Sent forth attempting to try Cherishing love I am finding Wanting forever to be Everything that you do see in your soul All that’s expected of me I am but only one person Doing just what I will do Being myself in the face of the storm Sending my love up to you There is no mask I am wearing The smile you see is for real I can not be something that I am not All of my life I reveal Hoping that you understand this Praying my words written of Things that my heart wants to tell you my dear Penned now with only my love Such is the heart of a dreamer Seeking not silver and gold My only goal is that you love me true Just as my dreams have foretold So soft is the sonnet of willows Wind through their branches blows free Whispering dreams evermore shall come true When you are standing with me

OUR WORLDS COLLIDE

I would love to be your comfort
A blanket when you're confused
A bright song on every dark day
Warmth and hope you cannot lose
To be the canopy to cover you
When life's storms come your way
I can be the one you've longed for
Because I see the words you can't say

So let's discard the old frayed sweater
That doesn't fit, it's come undone
You don't need words for my attention
Let's just hold hands and have some fun
Your eyes could light the skies tonight
That coy smile, wow.. it melts my heart
My guitar plays you sweet love songs
This is our time when true love starts

Girl, drift off to sleep on my shoulder
This guy pillow.. yeah, made for you
It's so euphoric to feel your heart beat
And know your dreams are coming true
Being with you I'm filled with wonder
A kiss goodnight, no shadows to hide
In the morning, I'll be your first sight
This is how it is when our worlds collide

~Lyric Man

Note: This is a soft love song echo to Casarah Nance write, "If You Knew" There's something so incredibly amazing about a love based on commitment to do and be all you can for your partner.

BUTTERFLY KISS

*BUTTERFLY KISS*

I'm still alive and I don't know why?
My heart survived falling from the butterfly sky

Caught by the hands of destiny
With visions only I can see!

My love I heard your call
Wings of a butterfly broke my fall

Love motion is in the air, a love no one can compare
Indulging a look-a-stare- that we both share

Reminiscing our love made out of stolen hope
Awe~:*! To them butterfly kisses that felt so real

Flowing like Amazing Grace,
A shining light upon my face.

I traveled fast and far, longing to be in your arms
I desire, the warm sensation of your charms

Your safe love will help me carry on,
With the strength and bond~the love you set upon

Nothing is better than a sensual butterfly kiss
Beyond the sensation of heaven's pure bliss

Fluttering in the clouds aiming for the moon
A dream of reality, out of my cocoon I bloom!

Valued by the art of true beauty and its rarity
True love flapping in the midst of clarity

I entwine that I am yours and you are mine
Bonded together till the end of time

With the vision, my heart is no longer blind
Two broken hearts at last combined

I glide below to touch your lip.
Our lashes touch from tip to tip.

Caressing each other as our wings expand
Two hearts- kisses collide and land

Holding your hand reaching to the rainbow sky.
Kisses:*kisses:* like the butterfly!

Winter Blues - I Cry For Color

I shiver tears. My joie de vivre; summer esprit’s lemon zested lilac flirts and coral whispers have escaped me~ grievous gray now flows through my veins. I shiver melancholia, entombed with my winter blues in the dark dreamless hollow of my frowning igloo. Draped in decor of dispirited drear I wear a wistful woebegone fog, an overcoat of overcast moods sown of sneering sunless, scentless days. I weep wall to wall in the long light-less nights alone with my lonely longings~ my psyche withers a little more each dull day, I shrivel. I shiver sadness, my colorless tears cry out loud for color; yearning for watermelon sunsets, pink sands and swirls of marigold kisses, for rainbows to color my lackluster laughter and fireworks to celebrate in my mirthless eyes, for Sol’s warm hands to tenderly undress and caress me and lay bare my soul straitjacketed by winter blues... Moonstruck Maiden

What beauty reflected in love's fair eyes,
a passion hence to become my treasure.
Stirred to flame, I dost fail to disguise
need in my loins ere want of fine pleasure.

As sweet the music I doth find profound,
tis more honeyed thou lips when touching mine.
Oh! My pained heart shall beckon love resound,
thou moonstruck maiden, unearthly divine.

Silent I shan't be, so near to soft breasts.
This besotted man hath nary more breath.
Grant me thy pure soul, not in mere request,
but let thine tongue speak before my near death.

I beg thee allow the stars remain bright.
Give thyself to me fore the end of night.

Amidst the Fallen Petals

He was ever gentle with her
always careful
composed
never passing the boundaries
never asking too much
a man of his culture
and bearing
didn’t move too fast

She was a flower
pristine...virginal
a flower he had plucked
from her family’s garden
with their blessing
she was safe in his keeping
though her scent drove him mad
its floral fragrance fascinating
deliriously desirous
she was fresh and innocent
he meant to make her bloom

He was patient
It was enough that she had consented to be his
she admired him
that he knew
it would be enough
enough
for now…

And so he waited
willing for her to feel
admiration turn to love
love turn to passion
and so, he put her in a vase
filled with the nourishment of his love
and he tended to her
admiring her
his fragrant rose

Tonight he showed her the home
that would be hers
theirs….

But what was this?
that look in her eye
different
the shyness gone
he saw…. longing
her face radiant
her lips inviting
petal pink
to match her cheeks
his rose
his flower
HIS
and yet
he dared not touch her that way
for fear of crushing her
in his rough hands

She whispered
ever so lightly
perhaps he dreamed it
maybe it was the breeze
whispering through the window
as it danced in her hair

No, there it was again…
“It is time…
I am ready.”
the meaning of her words
hung in the space between them
making it impossible to breathe
or even to think

And he watched
incapable of movement
as she stepped away from him
in the middle of the room
she turned to look at him
and one by one
she unfurled the petals
of her clothing
and let them fall down
fluttering to the floor
layer upon layer…discarded
all the while
as she undressed
ever so slowly
her eyes invited him

There she stood
with no covering
her raven hair
cascaded down her skin
reaching down
to the curve of her breasts
covering what he had only seen
touched
tasted
in dreams…
but this
this was real
she was real
and she held out her hand to him

"Do I please you?"
her voice caressed the words
for she knew
the power of her beauty
she must have seen the answer
there in his eyes
for she moved forward
ever so slightly
“Come…come to me, my love…”

He was there
in an instant
his arms around her
he was there
before the lilting cadence of her last word
had a chance to fade away

She smiled,
once again a little shy
She reached up to him
letting him melt into her kiss
as she slowly drew him down

There
surrounded by the strewn petals
on the floor of their home
in the bed of his heart
he claimed her
as his own...
his flower
his rose
amidst the fallen petals...
he heard her sigh

Pathway to love

As I sit watching fusions of saffron and scarlet hues elegantly charm the horizons. Silently, fluffy lush clouds float by like a magnetic field drawing me closer, in hope they may lead me to you. So I ponder maybe love is like the sunrise so many see it - yet so few feel it. Just the thought of my beloved, leads to these poetic fingers bleeding. As they drown in an abundance of words, that can only be soothed by her luscious lips. For these sentimental eyes yearn to caress her tender skin. So, I set upon the path to discover, if it shall lead to the realms of my lover. A path that I have once trodden upon before, but the soul demands to travel upon it once more. After all I'm only human, the love she planted in my heart still remains and how can I love another, when the heart refuses to give permission. Time has kept us apart. I float to her like a butterfly, and shall float until I reach her province. For this not just an infatuated sensation, you may hear in a fairy tale or sung in a lullaby. Her love is the only sensation of infatuation, as she holds the formula to my alchemist heart. I know I can't simply take her heart, it can only be given to one. But without her the world is cold, and I live for the day she will wrap me up inside her heart and never let me leave. For the love she gave, is still the only one I crave. I long to walk together amongst bluebells and ambrosial roses, roaming through an oasis of enchanted blossoms. Her arms will become my sanctuary. To create a masterpiece of serenity, to achieve an eternal state of tranquillity. I hope before first site of twilight, her perfect vision brings justice to this write. In a world full of expectations, I may lose the passion to exist. Just one beautiful gesture, will help me to remember how to smile. For, I know her radiant eyes will provide clarity, the warmth of her kiss will be my remedy. The Silent One 8 November 2017 Simple Musings.

Our Bliss At Its Purest We Loved Each Others Naked Sight

Our Bliss At It's Purest We Loved Each Others Naked Sight

When our love, its hottest and satisfying nights first begun
we each tried to give our all and not ever be outdone.
In that effort, soft showers of love-hearts began to pour
birthing swelling streams leading straight to paradise shores.
Within its spacious gardens, we walked in bliss, hand in hand
With our spirits singing, praise be this sweet rewarded land.

With eager hearts seeking, we sailed across heavenly blue seas
Tender love words speaking, we each wrote forever love pleas.

For precious are those diamond memories, deep their treasures
Never could such be destroyed, not those screaming pleasures!
Passion at its zenith, our burning desires at their greatest height
our bliss at its purest, we loved each other's naked sight.
O' the softness of your loving-heart and welcoming thighs
we felt heaven thanking it gifts, with both our contented sighs.

Those days are eternally burned, into this grateful soul
if time could us return, on that list we would both enroll.

Those  fledgling nights created so much more than simple heat
gave such passion never to be outshone, joined as
one made complete
Caresses, of those soft showers remade this
broken woman into more
Bathed in your paradise, unfettered I can soar
Joined as one, under the gentle gaze of the burning stars upon us
Lost in blissful moments
all around us recedes to what once was

The beauty within our hearts had a rhythm wanted by all
With the strength of our bonds we answered loves call

Rich in memories, such wealth is written in soul
and in mind
no other in any lifetime
could compare to you I find
The heaven's can't contain the love that we two share
at the highest height of our passion none can compare
Intense heat from our bodies is what gave those stars their light
Our bliss at its purest, we loved each others naked sight

My soul too will be eternally grateful for you my greatest love
as the stars and galaxies all rejoice over the love we share from above

Kiss the Rain

I'm leaving now, but here is a reminder
'Twill bring to you the days we walked through rain
So when you wish to feel my hand in yours
Or stroke your dripping hair-- Then kiss the rain

Though leaving now, I wish I could be with you
So when you feel o'erwhelmed with grief or pain
And long for my caress upon your face,
The rain will touch instead-- So kiss the rain

Whenever you have tho'ts of this sad parting
And salty tears your lovely cheeks do stain
To feel the tears for you I'll surely have
Do this, and I will too-- Go kiss the rain

Whenever you are longing for my presence
And times that we went strolling down the lane
I'll whisper soft endearments on the breeze
So heed the sighing wind-- And kiss the rain

If ever you should pine to hear me speaking
The thunder might burst forth with glorious main*
While drops that fall are sure to be my tears,
To feel them wet your skin-- Just kiss the rain

Midnight Romance

Midnight Romance

Dusk falls quickly on cerulean skies
Day morphs from ash of roses to sable
Our love's vision flashes before my eyes
Midnight romance, like an ancient fable

Charcoal sketches meander in my mind
While jasmine-absinthe incense is burning
it's smoke, evokes passions clearly defined
porcelain skin blushes with love's yearning

Obsidian-ebony eyes that gleam
pleading to quench needy soulful desire
beckoning me to unite in the dream
willingly, I rush to put out the fire

My mind's eye sees quivering crimson lips
As love drips from ivory fingertips

Love Waits Patiently

                                                            Love waits,
                                                                 patiently,
for those who dare to dream,
and envision what their future can be
while waiting for their spirit to be set free.
              Suspended between sunray and moonbeam,
                                                      time stands still,
                                 as they anticipate nature’s will
                                                                together,
                                                  -forever-
                                      together,
                                      as they anticipate nature’s will,
                                      time stands still,
                                      suspended between sunray and moonbeam.
While waiting for their spirit to be set free,
and envision what their future can be,
for those who dare to dream,
                                      patiently,
                                      love waits.

FORBIDDEN

~ZOMBIE NIGHT~

WHINING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes
Ascension of the dead -Longing to live again

Sands of desert flip the hour glass back
WHIMPERING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes

Taking light from where evil stays
Feeding away leaving behind a death valley zone
WONDERING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair

Dead souls forsake the common land
Shadowing like Equinox light
Walking corpse covered in rotten barren sand
WINDY WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air

Upright, forward broken taboo
Searching for the perfect breath of fresh air
Sounds of symbols march the ground
Searching to find their missing heartbeat
WHISKING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night

Ascension of the dead -Long to live again
Bones slowly desert distorted resting home
Moonlight vanishing in complete despair
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
WHEN WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND

Come to Me

Come to me when love has robbed you blind
Come to me in search of someone kind
Come to me when tears run down your face
Come to me in search of saving grace
Come to me

Come to me when life cannot fulfill
Come to me in search of that sweet thrill
Come to me when tongues are filled with lies
Come to me in search of lover's prize
Come to me

Come to me when longing breaks your soul
Come to me in search of what makes whole
Come to me when night won't yield to dawn
Come to me in search of dreams now gone
Come to me

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will not ask you where your heart has been
I will not leave you out, but welcome in
I will not close my ears to troubled sigh
I will not ask what you have done or why
Come to me
I'll give to you a welcome in my bed
I'll give you pillowed breast for weary head
I'll give to you a drink of nectar sweet
I'll give you night of love the dawn to greet
Come to me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Come to me before night bleeds to day
Come to me before you lose the way
Come to me before this love grows old
Come to me before your heart goes cold

Come to me

SILENT SIGHS

SILENT SIGHS

I felt the pain of your bereft affair,
the endless yearning of a lonely soul
that left you in the shadow’s of despair,
in search of tender love to seek console.

My mind was clouded by a misty haze
as I surrendered to your beauty’s might,
a solemn promise of a loving gaze
to feed the hunger on a moonlit night.

To virtues fragile ardor we resign
with depth of passion cast in silent sighs
as mortal lust subdues, two hearts entwine,
to mingle all the world without chastise.

The fragrance of your ardent lust remains,
without a claim to your heart’s broken chains.

I PRETEND

Yeah.. I pretend that I'm your man
And your hand's in mine forever
So clear.. love's eyes always see
Feelings that will extinguish never
So lets imagine.. you and me

I read your poems, taste fantasy
Enough to keep this dream alive
Not listening to lies.. of reality
I can survive, thinking we're real
Girl, you in my arms.. it's destiny

Cause I can't go on
And there's no tomorrow
If I'm all alone
Drowning in this sorrow
Breathe into my lungs
Tell me that it's true
Say, I'm not crazy
There's a me and you

Just love me now to eternity
We could be so good together
My feelings can't be tethered
This love inside must be set free
Oh can't you see.. I wanna be
We need to be...

Cause I can't go on
And there's no tomorrow
If I'm all alone
Drowning in this sorrow
Breathe into my lungs
Tell me that it's true
Say, I'm not crazy
There's a me and you

Girl, I don't want to pretend
But I can't let us end
So tell me that it's true
Say, I'm not crazy...
There's a me and you

There's a me and you..
Got to be... a me and you!

~Lyric Man

Note: I wanted to write about feelings so strong, though they be fantasy, there is always the possibility that these feelings can reach over into reality. It's happened to me, so the writer is a believer in the magic of what could be. I've seen dreams come true.. but could they in a place called, Soup???

Hoping that it might be you

Hoping that it might be you

Verse 1

I've got some troubles in my life...
I'll help with yours, will you, help with mine?
"Cause I need love like everyone...
Will you be here when the day is done?
(day is done)

Verse 2

Seems, like the whole worlds in a mess...
each day gets harder, I confess...
I need someone, to help me through...
I was hoping, that it might be you!
(might be you)

Bridge 1
Try to be.... the person that I need
I'll try to be...the person that you need

Verse 3

There, are some things, I just don't like...
when, somethings wrong, but they say it's right...
So... would you share my point of view?
Or... would it, just be...too much for you?
(too much for you)

Verse 4

I've lived, a full life, made for one...
I've seen a lot, and, I've had my fun...
but now, I'm ready for, a life for two
I hope you feel...the way I do!
(the way I do)

Bridge 1
Try to be.... the person that I need
I'll try to be...the person that you need

Bridge 2

Will you be here when the day is done?
Will you share with me the setting sun?
Will you be here when the day is done?
Will you share with me the setting sun?

Verse 5

What would you do, when I'm old and grey?
Would you leave me here, or would you stay?
I'll need someone to help me through...
I was hoping that, it might be you
(might be you)

Bridge 1

Try to be.... the person that I need
I'll try to be...the person that you need

Finale

I'll need someone to help me through...
I was hoping that it might be you
Yeah, I'll need someone to help me through...
I was, hoping that it might be you

(hoping that it might be you)
(hoping that it might be you)
(hoping that it might be you)

Love will come to you

Love will come to you

Are you feeling lost and all alone?
searching for love, searching for love
Is your heart still looking for it's home?
searching for love, searching for love

Don't you know that love will come to you
Don't you know there's something you can do

Don't you want to share your life with someone?
Love will be waiting, love will be waiting
Do you feel the burning and the hunger?
Love is there waiting, love is there waiting

Don't you know that love will come to you?
Don't you know there's something you can do!

Chorus
Look at the reflection in the mirror...
take a good look at the person you see
Let the real you shine out ever clearer...
Help yourself to be, the best you can be!

A promise of true love brings satisfaction
Yes, love will find you, yes it will find you
Feelings deep inside, more than attraction
Yes, it will find you, yes love will find you

Don't you know that love will come to you?
Don't you know there's something you can do!

Chorus
Look at the reflection in the mirror...
take a good look at the person you see
Let the real you shine out ever clearer...
Help yourself to be, the best you can be!

Happiness that will last, your whole lifetime!
Yes, love has found you, yes love has found you
A lasting love that will forever shine!
Yes, love has found you, yes, love has found you

Don't you know that love will come to you?
Don't you know there's something you can do!

Chorus
Look at the reflection in the mirror...
take a good look at the person you see
Let the real you shine out ever clearer...
Help yourself to be, the best you can be!

chorus repeat and fade

Home Collaberation with Silent One

Standing in the heart of this city
in awe of spectacular lights illuminating tall buildings.
Millions of strangers rush to and fro.
Who would've thought I would be here of all places.

But here I am feeling misplaced
in a place where no one knows your name.

I fasten the winter coat tight
to keep my heart wrapped warm,
because this city of strangers is so cold.
People wandering like bad actors struggling
to play their part with faces lacking expression.

Concrete towers seem to imprison me
in a place my soul does not belong.
I walk the same path monotonously,
wondering where it all went wrong.

But here I am feeling lost and alone .
I'm smiling but only to keep the dancing tears at bay.

I can't be someone who I'm not,
nobody seems to appreciate that I'm misunderstood.

And the dream that brought me here today,
now wants me to return home.

As my naked breath freezes in the air,
for a moment tired eyes close.
A smile sneaks through reminiscing Chamorro dreams.
Bathing under a blazing sun whose rays
glow through clear azure skies.
Crystal sapphire seas invite my soul
to immerse in tranquil waves,
peacefully admiring pestrel and
shearwater birds soaring high above.

I can almost hear warblers chirping melodic songs
of home, perched on a parade of paipai and coconut trees.
Scents of colourful plumeria and hibiscus petals
draw my senses closer to my heart's province.

Old foot prints have now washed away.
How I long to walk on sands of my forefathers,
where loved ones await with open arms.

A major honor to collaborate with Silent One

Longing

Longing
Waiting, hoping
Heart slowly dying
Memories re-fuelling forgotten dreams
Yearning

Longing
Wistfully awaiting
Dreams to stir
Prayers to be answered
Caring
