Premium Member Written In the Stars

Two hearts bleached by the sun
        A Poem's - fallen wish
               The Love
            Of A Life Time

Majestic beams fall from heaven meadow
Two hearts stitched by the constellation
Under the moon's glow
   You and I
Gazing up into the Starry Sky

This night we sit under the dazzling diamond dust
Our eyes feel and meet tonight
Stars twinkle a poem of each paired heart
Listen......While......The God's Whisper!

What Is Love?
They asked
A wish so gently by the stars
Greeting young couples' heart
Poor but, in love
Mimicking an old shadow
Light embrace this Auspicious moment

-Aster Flares-
Intrigued by a sad lover's tale
Two souls forever rich-
Sharing eternity through celestial bliss
Gravitating in the world owned by the stars
A most unfortunate turn of events,
Romeo & Juliet
Collapsing stars rising with a hymn
From the moment they fell
Only to reveal how beautiful--
-- the stars in the dark
Ever so wealthy, around Orion's Belt
Reading notes on every rhyme, every heartbeat

Stars fall every eve entering the atmosphere
Seeping through the soul, making love a part of a light
Permanent illusion
Fireflies Flaring up
A passion that lasts longer than a moment

Each zodiac unfolds
The stars tell you, who you are
Gaze upon eternity
Follow the Northern star
Beneath your peaceful splendor
They will bow
Sunset and the evening star,
"My Star Of Love"
Like glitter dust upon a timeless shore
Never will the memory of love be gone
Look up at the stars tonight,
For somewhere out there
I read about YOU in a poem.

On the Other Side of Cobblestone Streets

to my kindred soul
...i know you are out there
somewhere on the other side
across cobblestone streets
that scorn my feet, like hearts
on the pathways and wrong turns
of so called love

i've been kissed
but not by your lips
nor with the same passion
as the skies at dawn

i've been wrapped
in the contours of arms
much like the bitter winds
of autumn's sweeping nights
shivering beneath the touches
that left me stranded
on the journey towards you

i hold you in my dreams
on the other side of streams
where tears trickle over the rocks
and the dams hold me back

i searched for you
beneath the lambent moon
through shadows on alleyways
always losing sight
in the harrows of night

i've danced
silently with death
in silhouettes
upon mind's walls
always breaking free

running away, lost
on these sidewalks
of chalked thoughts

yet sometimes i wonder
had i held his hand
would he have led me to you
in another place
another time

does fate await our destiny
on the other side of life...

i still search for you
down cobblestone streets
through the passages of time
as it shifts beneath my feet
stranded, alone
until we meet....
inside my dreams

Premium Member Whose Muse Elusive Dew

The worldliness within the sphere
reflecting morning light,
as poignant as a single tear
idea bright is crystal clear
and frames the heavens in her sight
though soft the fall through night.

Settled 'pon a leaf flirtation
awakens dreamy mist,
sow the sweetest need sensation
clings a kiss in wild elation,
and though short-lived the earthy tryst
a reason to exist.

But rendezvous a bitter binge
though gentle loves cajole,
for soon the feel of daystar’s singe
O lifting dew from leafy fringe
no matter of the kiss they stole
the cosmos in her soul.

Deep the tender-hearted flower
whose muse elusive dew,
look how she shines this golden hour
evanescence is her power
as rays do make such moments few
alas, the mourners coo.

WHEN OUR WORLDS COLLIDE

Verse 1
I would love to be your comfort
A blanket when you're confused
A bright song on every dark day
Warmth and hope you cannot lose

To be the canopy to cover you
When life’s storms come your way
I can be the one you’ve longed for
'Cause I hear the words you don't say

Pre-Chorus
Let the past slip through your fingers
Those old ghosts fade from sight
Take my hand and feel the difference
You're walking into light

Chorus
When our worlds collide, love paints the sky with quiet fire
With colors only born from deep desire
You're safe in my arms, girl, don’t be shy
This is what it means when the night reshapes its light
And your heart finally whispers, “You’re mine”

Verse 2
Your eyes could light the skies tonight
That coy smile, wow... it melts my heart
My guitar plays you sweet love songs
This is our time when true love starts

Bridge
Drift away, lay your fears down
On this shoulder made for you
In the hush, hear my vow, my truth—
Every dream you dream, I’ll pursue

Chorus
When our worlds collide, love paints the sky with quiet fire
With colors only born from deep desire
You're safe in my arms, girl, don’t be shy
This is what it means when the night reshapes its light
And your heart finally whispers, “You’re mine”

Outro
Being with you, I’m filled with wonder
A kiss goodnight, no need to hide
In the morning, I’ll be your first sight
This is how it feels...
When our worlds collide

Premium Member I Died

As blaze of August fades into the Fall
horizons new have burned and turned to ash
and textures of the change of seasons clash,
a plague of frost becomes a rose’s pall.
The supple smooth confronts the brittle break
as petals silk matures a wrinkled skin
and winter’s snow to bury sins begin —
a fallen cloud the shroud for briar’s wake.

The days of glory sun and ruby rays,
across the skies, these hues were once my own,
beneath the blue above the green, my fling...
dressed not but strands of dew in solstice haze.
When youth was sown my roots were honed in stone —
I died… but I will rise again in Spring!

Premium Member Shadow of Death

My shadow flirts with the sun
As I caress the darkness
We are one and separate
As my shadow smiles
Anxiety suffocates me
The shadow will soon fade
I shall die
One happy, one not

Premium Member - Young Divine Happiness -

She is young and free, and most of her love lies in front of her
As the dawning twilight holds one breathless air under misted whispers

A sight she often looks beyond the vast land that always ends in the ocean
Upon the rocks driven by a seabreeze salted fragrance lingers

Waves and natural forces full of power draws upon sound and rhythm
Mixed echoes crying gulls rise and fall as they crash ringing home

To walk along the beach barefoot, she has time to be young
Reflecting back on each step forward petals of a sunbeam enters

Feeling divine happiness every second heartbeat without a special reason
Time begins to challenge the labours of the trodden path

Live it is to dare, nobody has gone in her step before
Standing upon the apex captivated by thought spiralling

Form a sculpture of wet sand, without being critical
Leaving an imprint under the shell where holds precious pearls

A way to expose oneself to something unfamiliar and unsafe
Petals of a flower dancing to a winds melody rings midnight bells

She dreams of love, with expectations and hope to be a queen
Under the starlight where a moon's cradle swoons her with a smile

A hand to hold, the first kiss ... a puzzling thought
Where memories are born a fire always burns regally sealed

Premium Member Heartbroken

“I know my heart will never be the same
But I'm telling myself I'll be okay”
Sara Evans

My heart no longer
beats the same,
as I’ve wiped away
tainted tints on
vain valves.
Bleeding out
shattered dreams.
Colors of fallen
needle-shaped leaves,
emanate shades
of memories,
lost along a clamor of
fragmented pieces,
where linchen-dusted lies
confused my
flower-patterned spirit,
adrift in a pastoral
landscape of melancholy,
scumbled in roseate oil,
calligraphed from
the fragrance of
forget-me-nots,
but sunflowers no
longer bloom,
although I still
see a thread
of salvation
surfing through the
airy breeze that hides
behind green
grass across
untouched,
yet butterfly nested
water mountains.
I chose to be
content alone,
with me and my
heartbroken bliss,
over passionate
petal-like serenades,
that caressed
my midnight blues.

So, forgive the stars,
named with our love,
as I bid
farewell to half-adorned
illustrations
of a perfect sunrise,
stolen by the past
that always punished me,
with trust issues,
obscured in somber clouds
that follow my
silhouette, faithfully.

Premium Member Silence of the Waves

Mirabelle orb ascends,
under clementine and pomegranate skies.

Absent,
in delight of daylight.
Eyes set adrift in dawning daydreams.

Calm heart is an oceanic concerto,
flowing along sapphire tones.
Deep breaths walk upon water,
caressed by Poseidon's piano keys.
Pulsating palpitations beat eloquent echoes,
rousing freely along rhythmical ripples.

Searching for symphonic serenity -
composition of waves, amicably,
pave a path towards destiny.

Hope vibrates like Apollos's lyre and lute strings,
as winds whistle lost tunes from Athena's flute.
Melodies of the silent sea summon torpid tides,
as desire merges in harmony with the harbour -
passionately embracing barren shores.

Aroma of dusk's dew cools in night's velvet sheen,
as sinking sun is submerged into the deep blue sea.
Sprinkling of pearls appear - their reflection
shimmering upon watery midnight blue stillness.

In silent clarity of blackness,
flowing footfalls of fate purify -
awakening mind from its reverie.

Mirabelle - a plum, also known as mirabelle prune or cherry plum, is a cultivar group of plum trees of the genus Prunus. It is believed that the plum was cultivated from a wild fruit grown in Anatolia.

Poseidon, in ancient Greek religion, god of the sea (and of water generally), earthquakes, and horses.

Apollo has been recognized as a god of archery, music and dance, truth and prophecy, healing and diseases, the Sun and light, poetry, and more. His two musical instruments were the lute and the lyre.

Athena was a talented flute player, as she created it, but others ridiculed her when she played due to her cheeks. In disgust, she threw away the flute and said whoever picked it up and played it would be severely punished.

The Music Of Heart In Verse Softly Whirred

What seems now old
Used to be utterly new
What was previously told
We cease to over chew
*****
All that is old hold a treasure
If only we all knew
Just weigh and measure
Under the veil a unique hue
*****
Out of memories we grow
Been taught lessons to the bone
We do reap all that we sow
And for wrongdoing we atone
*****
Pleasure and pain what we gain
In a life not taken for granted
Who can stop time or rinse rain
Or suppress anger that should be vented
*****
Life will continue to hurt and heal
Vomit its villains to mould the meek
Send its saints to instill ardency and zeal
Never always the ones at the wheel
*****
Deeply inside my prayers I recite
To always endurance and faith embrace
Be human of worth, decent and upright
And paths that stain never retrace
*****
A great depth of gratitude to God we owe
For both strength and forbearance
For age that vigorously flow
And for the gift of Love in abundance
*****
An abiding passion for her Majesty the word
Delving into my smile and feel would draw
The music of heart in verse softly whirred
My poetic human soul imbued with awe.

Premium Member The Packing of a Suitcase

Consider, Recall, Reflect, Hesitate, Tremble
           Before your life's vast sweep.

     Step back; Try to fathom
           How much it's all meant.

     Crease, Fold, Pile, Stack, Mark
           Each decade's clothing you've worn.

     Pause! Write a poem to
           Bid all your lovers adieu.

     Whimper, Cry, Sob, Weep for--
           Last suitcase ever you'll pack.

Premium Member Swarovski Sunset

When the first glimpse
of silver crescent
sprinkles citrine dust,
sparkling pink brooks
spring forth,
flowing through
emerald green forests.
Moss covered Pine
trees spread their branches,
reaching towards
the setting amber sun.
Cherry blossom clouds
coat the dusky horizon,
unfurling lilac lavender
hues amidst the
paper-cut skyline,
and the last beam
of light starts to
fade into nocturnal bliss.

The twilight nightingale
can be heard,
comforting us
in the distance.
Lulling us to a
restful slumber
under the star
blanketed stratosphere.

And something
about the way
warm marshmallow
threads entwine
with mulberry tints,
reminds me that
every ending
is a synonym
to new beginnings.

Yet, I tell the
caviar smeared sunsets
about our
secret collaborations,
questioning the glowing
gold of Swarovski
rings splattered across
the evening sky,
incensed with
the fragrance of jasmine
that lingers on
the summer breeze.

Will blushing
sangria streaks,
stretch their feathers,
paint my blazing
heart of hurt in
vermilion stars?

or is this love,
another passing
phase, like the waning
sighs of moonrise?

Premium Member Fate and Destiny

How mischievous those goddesses of fate
That bend our paths toward our destiny
They tempt us, setting traps, with diff'rent bait
Like fools, we complicate simplicity

Each turn we take is draped in mystery
A lucky choice builds up our confidence
Then fate reminds us, oh so subtly
Again, we're on the wrong side of the fence

The twists and turns of life offer suspense
We see our big break up around the bend
But fate knows that for love, there's no defense
Next thing you know, you've turned down a dead end

Fate has control of destiny it seems
Don't let that stop you chasing down your dreams

ALWAYS

[Verse 1]
Yeah... I pretend I’m your man
You roll your eyes, but still take my hand
I laugh, “Girl, you're always hangin' around”
You just wink, like love doesn’t need a sound

So clear—love’s eyes can see
A fire we swore would fade? Never
Let’s imagine, you and me
Writing poems that live forever

[Pre-Chorus]
I get by just thinking it’s real
In your arms, girl, it's fate I feel

[Chorus]
'Cause I can't go on
There’s no tomorrow
If I’m alone
Breathing through the sorrow
Breathe into me
Tell me it’s true
Don’t let me be the fool
Who believed in “me and you”

[Verse 2]
Just love me now, through eternity
We could be something real, you and me
This feeling won’t be chained or tamed
A love like this can’t be unnamed

Can’t you see? I want to be
More than just a fantasy
We could turn this dream to truth
There’s a world for me and you

[Pre-Chorus]
Don’t need the world to understand
I just need you to take my hand

[Chorus]
'Cause I can't go on
There’s no tomorrow
If I’m alone
Breathing through the sorrow
Breathe into me
Tell me it’s true
Don’t let me be the fool
Who believed in “me and you”

[Bridge]
In a place where time stands still
Hearts can mend and dreams can fill
I’ve seen stars align before
Maybe love will open the door
To a place…
To a place called Always

[Final Chorus]
'Cause I can't go on
There’s no tomorrow
If I’m alone
Still breathing through the sorrow
So breathe into me
Whisper it’s true
Don’t let me be the fool
Who still believes in “me and you”

[Outro]
No, I don’t want to pretend
But I can’t let this end
So tell me it’s true
Say I’m not dreaming...
There’s a me and you...
There’s a me and you...
Gotta be… in a place called Always
