Premium Member Glory of Her Magnificence

Oceans apart
buried under sandy shores,
a rare pearl slept comfortably
behind her walls.

Fate must have been kind,
for a common man like me,
to stumble upon her shell.
As I brushed away her debris,
astonished - my eyes could not believe
this beauty, revealed before me.

Spellbound - I could not help but stare,
stunned by the glory of her magnificence.
As she took one step forward,
unutterable sensations,
took a hold of my emotions.
Yet I remained motionless,
overmastered by this
majestic heavenly vision.

And I could have sworn it was a dream,
until the softness of her fingertips,
graced the imperfections of my soul,
and for the first time it felt perfect.
All of a sudden it felt like we were floating,
ascending towards a myriad of stars,
with the moon guarding us silently.

Stardust sprinkled with the sight of her smile -
how fortunate was I, to celebrate this artistry.
Her lips blossomed like flowers
as they succulently caressed mine.
Breathless,
without saying a word her eyes acknowledged
my vow for eternal devotion with ever lasting love.

Premium Member The End

The End

Seeing through these cold dead eyes now,
This world looks much different.

The scars of one’s life entire,
Appear now for all to see.

What once meant everything,
Really means nothing now.

I still see and sense things mortal,
But the earthly world can’t hear my words.

Lying on an ice-cold white slab this darkest night,
I see the pale yellow moon’s sad face in the sky.

With visions of people who’ve crossed over before,
I wonder when Charon shall finally appear?

Shall it be him who appears on this new horizon?
Or shall it be someone or something else?

The everyday mortal world moves on as before:
Regardless of one’s wealth, poverty, fame, shame, infamy.

I guess now all the ancient mysteries of the universe,
Shall become obvious and answered in kind.

I wonder what shall be said to me and the reception?
Thumbs up or thumbs down—I guess I shall find out.

The pale yellow moon now appears brighter . . .
As if a special message cometh soon from a winged angel.

Hope this helps to answer my lingering questions . . .
As the dark void from the mortal world grows greater now.

I feel a gentle tug pulling me upward now from Earth’s grasp,
Into the majestic arms of infinity and into God’s eternal light!

WALLPAPER

---------------------
Paper Thin
Cut down to any size,
Crumble, crop me wrong
Pull the insulation from my heart.
Never will I be "A Paper Doll!"
Thank you for calling me a "Friend!"
Thank you for wasting my "time!"
Enjoy the WALLPAPER display
---------------------

Layers and layers of lifeless brick
KEEPS EVERYTHING OUT!
Emotional poster boards of doubt
Envious fiberglass green never seen
Yuletide Carols warped around my energy
Merry and full of acrylic sh!t-
Hand full of putty maintains the makeup on my face
Arts and crafts display my inner fancy grace
Heavy installed Sheetrock so easily replaced

Tough paint chips away silently through the night
Rigid boards transform into fragile crystal light
The greatest illusion blinding reality
Smooth Tiger Skin, texture of orange simple peel
Beautiful mud swirl, L'Oreal.
Gypsum soft enough you want to touch

Dark walls of a thousand words
A plasterboard of discordant grey notes
Blots and clots of ink, enslave my skin
Colorless drywall, resilient to your charms

Printed designs of cleverly decorated lipstick
Morbid shadows underneath the ceiling veil
A double coat of Pacific Waterproof Blue-
Printing bags from -- YESTERDAY!

Plastered wounds of cement dry and roughens along the edge
A human-made barrier, not even God comes in.

Girl, Interrupted-

Deep cuts from within.
She faced bravely the many hardships of womanly life
How did she end up like this?
Severe depression after her first mental breakdown
Sorrow oppressed what was willed
At present in the parallel universe,
Never aware of the world left behind
She will catch a brief glimpse of this world
   ---where everything is different.

Losing the veil in which includes time,
Aging without caring death awaits!
Her different personality replaces reality
Things appear normal in her eyes.

Although captivate in her own mind,
She feels this is freedom.

Being heavily burdened--
Every day she stares into different mirrors,
Smiling in her bipolar face
Without knowing insanity put her mind at ease.

I took a walk with God today,
His pace far more casual than
mine. His voice a bit softer,
calmer. His visions, far more
loftier, but not views to impress
me...more like, to bless me. Not
stepping to me out-stride – more like,
to lovingly guide. His tone to instill in me
self confidence, and not His awesome
dominance. I took a walk with
God today...met Christ along
the way – and together we made a turn
toward Home....

Time speeds away unmindful,
ages added on to eons,
piling changes on change, it moves on,
seldom posing lull and loll.

With the current rushing swift and fleet
we race past from old to new
from times primeval to times neoteric
watching the ceaseless chain of births and deaths
tasting life's vicissitudes of joy and pain

In this unwinding circuit of time,
how long is my sojourn here?
sixty, seventy or hundred
Does it count much?
does it mean more than a mere drop in the ocean?

Like the bubbling foam or the dying froth
constantly born and destroyed
by the rising and receding tides,
we appear uninvited and depart unnoticed.

We can’t rewind the hands of time
or the changes therein.
Many a thing is beyond our control
Shikata ga nai.

Yet I can be the catalyst of change
in a world that has gone cold.
How I wish to ignite the flame
when light goes out from many hearts.

I aspire to inspire, though I am a tiny mote,
just a miniscule in this vast cosmos,
through thoughtful acts of kindness
and hands reaching out to the needy.
With ears to listen and a heart to feel,
I can script a tale of love.

Between the rows of mighty forefathers who exited out
and the countless progeny lining up
I have squeezed a space to be a face
in a faceless multitude.

Premium Member Wings of Change

Remembering when
Perched high above on rocky crags
Cliffs weathered by times handprints
I saw far and wide to distant shores
Tendrils of desire radiating outwards

Riding the briny mist
Being carried by the breath of the ocean, my constant companion
Hearing the distant voices, the silent tears
The bursts of passion ~ love and loss

I ride the wings of hope and change
Towards the beckoning landscape of
Creation, mystery, and nuance

A vibration fills the air
The quiet chanting of our ancient brothers and sisters
Their words floating in effervescent bubbles
Tinged with melodies so clear

We are one ~ We are here
Let us bathe you in light
Let us heal your wounds
Let us give you hope
We are all mirrors of one another
We share one breath
We are connected like the mycelium under the ground
Our journey is peaceful
Come to us with your pain, your heartache,
Your fear and your loss

We are here to listen
Our ears and hearts are open
You have come to a safe sanctuary to reveal your secrets
Your darkness, your desires, and your bliss
Without judgement
This is a time of renewal

Tiny green hummingbird lays lifeless on the ground
Surrounded by new life
Glittering musical notes sound as
Pink butterflies gather
Gentle wind of wings bringing change

Warm rain falls as we make our way
Through the kaleidoscopes of turquoise, teal, lime and chartreuse
Sunlight reflections
Moss, furry seedlings, and ferns
Intertwine dancing in the shafts of light

A steady illuminated procession
Sweat running down our bodies
We are a train of humanity pushing forward
Through the dense moist jungle

Coming upon a clearing to witness
The newborn baby girl wrapped in velvet greenery
A majestic glowing beacon shining her light
On all of us

Howling

The chatter of monkeys as they scramble down limbs to join us
We feel her heartbeat
We meld into one another seamlessly
Swaying gently in unison
To honor, rejoice and celebrate
Receiving the gift of what it is to be human

Slowly the child is lifted into the air
Aloft on fingertips of joy
The Circle of Life begins
And we return to the simple act
Of loving and giving to one another
Into eternity

Stay - One more golden morning –
Linger - One more silver night –
Abide tiny child born of my desire
To encourage a new life;
Watch with me the amber moon
Peek through moonbeams rising up so large
We could touch it's creamsicle face -
Sleep caressed within the shelter of soft umber leaves,
Preparing for their final journey,
To sing a last duet with you,
This last autumnal aria, no more with choruses, just two thin voices
To a harp song strummed through my oaken limbs;
Now see the changing cloud ships
Gather - carrying cargoes full of rain -
To scuttle ‘cross the sunrise
When breezes turn from summer zephyrs
To blustery torrents, tinted with icy dew;
As you sail away, soaring on their roller coaster wings,
I leave a kiss upon your face in sunlight that taught your heart to beat –
Watching with a blessing on my lips -
My empty arms still remembering your round, smooth face -
As you ride the vagabond winds
Following their air-born trails to find your place
Where you nestle deep within a warm and richly decorated nursery –
A birthing place –
For when you labor I stand a silent sentinel alongside ancient family,
A vigil as the silent snows blanket your dreams of mighty forest oak -
To wake in seasonal celebration
When, re-formed, your first leaves appear;
No farewell now only adieu, my little one, until we meet again.

Premium Member Falls Magical Splendor

Golden light appears in tier after tier
As if Mother Nature were on a spree
Fall's magical splendor each passing year
Transforming the colors of every tree

Colors she chooses are all warmer hues
Flaxen yellow, marmalades and pure reds
Old russet and bright chartreuse to confuse
Over dark forest floors boldly she spreads

Is it winter coming she would deter?
His icy breath blusters as winds blow cold
As in years before — Autumn must demur
Silently wearing her golden blindfold

Like drifting leaves that fall by the roadway
We'll return to life some wonderful day

Premium Member Hint of Change

When leaves in whispers say goodbye
With a hint of autumn’s sun rise
Once of vibrant life to mutate
In combat with the chilling eve.

Soon to waltz within heartless breath
When leaves in whispers say goodbye
From mighty mother trees shaking
In fall’s perpetual cycle.

No more gathering of morns dew
Within the mist that spoils the view
When leaves in whispers say goodbye
Dressed in colours of red and gold.

Another seasonal imprint
Scurrying along woodland’s chase
Driven by swirling artful winds
When leaves in whispers say goodbye.

Ariel eyes gaze towards sapphire seas.
Mermaids have no purpose in aquariums.
Yet so many struggle to escape shallow streams.

Sitting upon sandy shores,
depth of her emotions, reflect moonlight,
gently caressing welcoming waves.

Yearning to float free -
to wash away her worries,
her mind is like a constellation of stars,
hiding behind misty vapors.

Spiritual sounds summon her home.

Melodies of mystical nymphs,
liberate her supernal soul,
as an infinite power dwells within her.

As sand castles wash away,
Sea Urchins wash upon the shore,
craving to be beside her.

Sapphire seas cast a spell.

Dimness of the horizons clear,
permitting stars to illuminate into her eyes -
like a millions pearls placed inside
the chambers of her Oyster heart.

Letting go, each splash erases the past,
cleansing her mind, releasing subliminal chains,
swimming in depths, most would drown.

Her spirit once stranded upon barren land,
now bathes within oceans, not known to man.

(WARNING SIGNS)

You are old and fragile
Claiming to be a lion when in bed
In some way, you remind me of the walking dead
Your bones make a sound when walking across the room
Rattling, as if they know your end is near
Confusing rigor mortis where muscle mass once stood

You say you have stamina that has no end
Until now, your back hurts when you move
Losing count of every inch that got away!!!
With your moods constantly changing,
I prefer not to mention the belly fat around your waist

Then you have romantic days, you plea to love
You chase down a Viagra pill with red fuzz
Seemingly, without adding depression to your day
Pill's are the only object expanding when swallowed
40 some, and you think you can romp around the room
I yawn, yet you are the one tired, next to doom

Dusty and old you boxer shorts
Can't remember the last time you stayed up late
Kicking the bucket every time I talk about S E X
Your hairline aged with time, bold and bald
I forgot which one you recalled this morning
Perhaps these are signs of low testosterone
Merely in the meantime............... R.I.P. WILL YA!!!

The freedom to love is threatened
Is it possible to goes for happiness
in a world of deep injustice?

There is a gray shutter on the mountain
before the sun suddenly lights up the day
                                Smiling, whistling and soft tones
The delightful taste of autumn's sweet fruits

Autumn does not regret its short time
                                  The "Scream" that was spun
                                         by colorful leaves
Sip on a hot Blackcurrant toddy
                                Autumn closed the door quietly
and leaves the ice key on the stairs

Death, with its kiss of fire
                                   When the angels of heaven
                                  sprinkle sugar on the ground
                               Winter drives through your dream
Feel the silence and the absence,

Last year, her imagination went double
so she ignored her previous schedule.
She put all her dreams inside of clear jars,
decorated with different, assorted stars.

She believed if she always kept things rounded
she would also succeed in keeping life grounded,
So, she would circle every found square
believing it demonstrated her constant care.

Plastic, colored eggs hung from her ceiling
to keep her floor from creaking and reeling.
Pale pink and bold gold stripes on her wall
recorded every received telephone call.

She worshiped and loved both the sun and moon,
but only from inside her living room.
She feared really being observed outside,
a place where stray cats were known to hide.

She always loved to dance, but during this year
she’s been dancing to music only she can hear.
All these things bring her secure nuances near,
but make her sanity less and less clear.

Premium Member Falling Leaves, Beautiful Demise

Leaves talking, beautiful demise

If a leaf could talk, it would say, please, take your time
life is acted out in stages, every song has it's rhyme
When a leaf dies, its dynamic impressions in its flight
a stunning display of artistry, dazzling to the sight

Green turns to crimson, flaming tangerine and gold
a leaf's transforming demise is a beauty to behold
As sap runs dry, youthful vitality turns evanescent
the beauty of a leaf's demise is resplendent iridescence

A leaf's downfall, granted, is a casualty of the season
it's journey into oblivion, is transfixing beyond reason
When a leaf, takes its leave, exits gracefully the scene
We're left breathless with the vision, an event to be seen
