~Alice Sweet Alice~

        *Like Sisters*
   Everyday -- Holding Hands
Sunday Dress -- Pink Ribbons
         *Alice And I*

How can they say she did not exist?
This Sweet Girl I Named Alice

The way she looks at me
-Her eyes tender green
A body figure I can't describe
Together we played hide and seek
We swung in ways no one could see
This girl with pretty red curls
Who enjoys the sound of pouring rain?

Together we slept under the same breeze
We carved our names on the same tree
Side by Side it Read Alice & I!
She whispered the day I fell off my bike
Alice Sweet Alice loves the way I look in red!

Every day I face the mirror
Alice puts her left hand on my right
We share the same identical scars,
Under the right and left palm.

The way she held my hand
Healed the scrapes in every fall
Beating from the bullies, she screams!
Again, Alice, whispers--- "Kill Them All!"
No one ever said a word,
When she stood by my side
Alice knew me in ways no one else did
She knew my eyes -When they cried!

Now I can't sleep,
Since Alice has fallen back into the abyss
Forever conscious in a self-hug
--- This is no dream, it is real!

The rage inside burns.
It took place the day she left!
Burning curtains
Empty mirrors
This Girl Named Alice spoke of darkness,
then disappeared

When I hear the sound of pouring rain
I stare at the shadows on the wall
Nothing feels the same,
I allow myself to soak in the darkness where it began.

My hair of red is not the same
These cuts are all that remain
The only clue in which Alice, was here!
Holding on to a stainless blade, I sleep

ALICE SWEET ALICE!
Please call my name!
Why do they whisper?
Why are they saying she never held a breath?
I know she is real, she exists
Why else would I let her cut my wrist?

This Sweet Girl
"I YELL FOR ALICE!"
Finally, visits again ---
But, who is to believe?
For everyone says
Alice lives inside my head.

"I dream of Candy!"

Sweet cakes and peanut butter squares
A living diabetic's nightmare. -- My heart

Sweet sugar cookies and peanut butter bars

Taunting whoopers,
Dancing dum dum's,
The sweetest silhouette show - in my room
Dreamy, Creamy Cupcakes in the afternoon
Cinnamon Cheerios cascade on my spoon
Sweeter than my sweet tooth
Now and later - a forever honeymoon

Jigglin' my jelly belly boo berry Butterfinger delight
I'm in love, licking the icy ICEE all night long
Extra freshness, once I crop a top off of a mountain dew pop
My eyes sparkle like diamond dazzle razzles in the sky

Savoring the sound of saliva trapped in my mouth
THIS night - ovulated buds - wait to feast!
Enjoying delicious dulce music sleepy symphony

Premium Member Sweet Violets

The path you walk I adore.
Seeds I’ll scatter around,
Then from earth, blooms will pour
to grace your precious ground.
A highway I shall lay for you.
Sweet violets I shall sow.
Where blossoms spring into view,
Darling, sweetly go!

Pretty heads will thickly spread.
A carpet it will seem
of amethyst you tread
as if inside a dream.
Among those flowers we shall meet.
We’ll lie on that soft path
with happiness replete,
reveling in love’s aftermath.

Sweet Jesus

On the day our eyes open to the prism of the sun

On that day, Winter solitude would be gone

The avalanche of differences melts into nothingness

Through the same breath, through the same soul

We would live again as one ,no matter who we are

No matter the colour of our skin,Gay or straight

rich or poor, innocent or once found guilty.

No matter if We are lawyers, prisoners, doctors, drug victims or pheasants

No matter our political believes ,nor our different religions

A catholic,a muslim,a buddhist , a hinduist,or a jew .

On that day,we would all wear identical dresses

We would all be the significant other ,because He has died,

and He has died for all. Jesus died for Peter,John and Judah

for Lazarus and Maria Magdalene, Jesus died for me ,

He has died for you ,for him ,for her,and even for them.

He gave up till the last drop of blood and painful cry

for each and every name engraved upon our Father's palm.

He was born to die,but its not his death that we celebrate ,

We celebrate His life ,because we believe in life

We celebrate His forgivness ,because We experienced

the beauty of forgivness ,the happiness ,the return of blissful joy.

and , We celebrate the ever present love

Because it is the gift of love that He bestowed on us

Jesus was born to die , but He was born to rise

Upon death He has risen , through His death We survived

Because of Him , in the darkness ,in the labyrinth of our night

There will always, always be the little flicker of a candle

that fills our hearts with hope ,and warming light.

Premium Member And Sweet Is Her Demise

In primrose twilight, summer is still near.
She whispers in my ear; I hear her in
the one lone owl that hoots to only me.
I wake to find her shining through the clouds -
though breathing not so warmly on my cheek.
I glimpse her waning smile as in a field
I dance to soundless music in her sun.
My mind goes wandering, and in the breeze
I hear her sigh, for she is lingering
within the scent of asters that I pluck.
I’m hanging on to that one glint I see
of her before me in gold glitter dusk.
But in the cries of geese across the sky,
she calls goodbye, and sweet is her demise.

Premium Member Caress My Soul Sweet Poet

Love's tend'rest touch, your gentle words reveal
Caress my soul. sweet poet, with your verse
Write dulcet lullabies which make me feel
Secure, like infants held at breast to nurse

Turn tears of sadness into peaceful streams
Make whispered breezes whisk my strife away
Put passion in my fantasized daydreams
Paint troubles in to flowery bouquets

And even though I know they're not for me
I steal your soothing love just like a thief
This load I carry lightens suddenly
Because my broken heart has found relief

Your words are like a song, please sing to me
Sweet poet, how I love your poetry

Blow Sweet Breeze

With the turning of the green
the fevered hues engulf my soul
rich radiant reds glistening in the sun
as my heart gleams with memories
of the solemn words that fall from
your angelic lips.
The ornate orange and dynamic yellows
come to life
like those sparkling flecks dancing
inside your autumn eyes. Oh my heart
my heart, rest my heart.
Breathless the breeze blows a subtle scent
of sweets from the pink flowing Amaryllis.
Blow sweet breeze blow off into the night
and on your wings I plant my kiss. A loving kiss
filled with the finest fruits of my harvest like the
finest bottle of red served on the terrace overlooking
the Grande Canal in Venice under a moonlit sky.
Blow sweet breeze blow and onto her veranda swirl
swirl gently into her palatial palace and wrap my love
firmly upon her waiting cheek.

Premium Member Wild Love

The blackberry's love for the garden rose
Brought down the gardener's wrath.
The blackberry sensed the danger
As he wended the garden path.

" A love so true as mine", he sighed,
"Must dare to brave the hoe.
Just a few more feet to reach her,
My true love she must know."

He crept along so quietly,
Sometimes quite out of sight
Until he nudged his darling's feet.
Did he dare to trust the light?

He heard the gardener's heavy boot
And hid in craven shame.
He knew he'd soon be weeded out,
A seedling with no name.

"Have I no worth since I don't rate
Some Latin nomenclature?
Without a well known parentage
Am I a freak of nature?

His darling's line was long and pure,
No skeletons in her past.
He had to make his feelings known.
Those boots were treading fast.

Gently then he wrapped his vine
Around his loved one's spine.
In great amazement he opined,
"Her thorns are sharp as mine".

The sweet rose felt his tender touch
And realized his fear
And wondered at his bravery
In coming to her here.

She heard the swishing of the hoe,
She heard those nearing feet.
Quietly letting down her leaves
In a manner so discreet

She covered her wild lover.
The gardener unaware,
Stopped but to view her beauty.
He saw naught hiding there.

She whispered, "You are safe now".
The blackberry's heart was light,
Thankful that his dear sweet rose
Had not exposed his plight.

"A rose is still a rose." she said,
"By any other name
And in our distant ancestry,
We share some of the same".

"I'd rather know your wild love,
Than a love that's dull and tame,"
Cuddling close, returned his kiss
Without a bit of shame.

Next season there were seedlings
Of a very different kind.
The gardener delighted, cried
"A horticultural find."

The moral of this story?
Things aren't always what they seem.
The love you look down on today,
Could be tomorrow's dream.

Premium Member The Beloved's Quilt

Listen
you who seek the secret of existence
your life is a thread in the Beloved's grand design.
Each moment a stitch each breath a color divine.

Do you see
how rain and sun kiss the earth?
Like morning dew they are one in the eyes of the Friend.
Embrace both
for in their unity duality ends.

You are the pulse of a seed sprouting through the stone.
In your veins flows the ancient wisdom of the soil.
In love's alchemy the seeker becomes the sought.

Feel how the wind of spirit shapes you
now bending like a reed now standing as a cypress.
In surrender find the strength that never wavers.

The heart's fire burns away all that is not love.
Desire, like wild winds, seeks its way to the sacred fire
in consuming they become the light they seek.

Each thread of your being sings the Beloved's name.
Listen closely can you hear the melody of oneness?
In that song
you'll find your true existence.

The fabric of your days shimmers with divine light:
Golden Joy. Silver Sorrow... all are His gifts.
In accepting all
you become... His perfect reflection.

O lover do not ask why some paths are sharp as thorns
and others soft as the dawn's first breath.
The Master Weaver's wisdom surpasses all understanding.

Let yourself dissolve in love's infinite sea.
You are both the wave and the ocean's depths.
In annihilation, find your eternal completion...

Beloved you are the quilt and the quilter
the song and the singer,
the dance and the dancer.
In this realization all separation ceases.

Now step into the garden of the heart—
where every seed sprouts with the faces of our Friends.
Here in agape love's transcendence
you will find your journey's end.

-Toddler Sky-

Down where I sleep,
You hold me, embrace my every way
The Marks up on my skin
You caress, taking away from the ugliness

Watching the simple breath, when I breathe
Breaking the ice, soothing my inner peace
A sweet spray across the paleness in my limbs
Holding the warmth, I've been loved throughout my life.
From picking up sticks to the walking stick
My loving dear I know you will always be there
A few wheel chairs, when broken bones mend
You know my every cure*
Walk with me across the hall
Through the oldness, and the boldness of every color in the sky
Thank you for taking me as I am
A light twinkle' every time I feel the colors of the rainbow drip
Now a newborn takes his form
In you I find the strength to stretch my arms and reach for every star

When happy moments fail,
I embraced the colors I found in you
I make out every tree, and wonder why and how?
I close my eyes to imagine the fun of chasing fireflies
Tonight I'm keeping my prayers simple, cute, and innocent
I will count sheep and search for sweet lullaby dreams
Smiling like a 3 year old this very moment,
You think I'm having "Baby Blues."
My loving dear, thanks for having patience,
Painting my way down a toddlers sky
Every time "P M S" hits

Premium Member A Home Sweet Home

At long day’s end, our thoughts may stray
to where we long to wend our way-
a peaceful place where we dismiss
all things in life that are amiss,
and none are wont to cause dismay.

Our footsteps hasten us to this:
the warmth of hearth, the welcome kiss.
For those less fortunate I pray
a home sweet home they'll find one day.

Premium Member Sweet Ghost Valentine

An old house I am led to -it is the symbol of
Memories in cobwebs - like those of old lost love.

A storehouse for so many things buried in my mind.
I open up its creaking door to see what I might find.

Lovely notes come waaftng down its stairs to me.
My poor heart tears to hear that poignant melody.

It brings to me the image of one afternoon
When I walked with someone in summer by the dune.

I listen to the tickling of the ivory
Picturing two people splashing each other by the sea.

The music now is drifting to me soft and low.
I see the setting sun. We’re bathed in crimson glow.

Beautifully and slowly the notes keep being played.
In the arms of my old love rhythmically I’m swayed.

The keys of the piano now are pounding fast.
In the moonlight he and I are making love at last.

Finally the keys are played as if they were caressed.
And a bitter sweetness swells within my breast.

Slowly creeping up the stairs I go to learn the truth.
Who has played this long-time buried memory of youth?

On the old piano’s bench, I see an imprint lies,
And I think I can hear my phantom lover’s sighs.

Sweet ghost valentine, will you please return
And play again that melody of love for which I yearn?

Premium Member Sweet Youth

Sweet youth with its ghostly shadows of regret
encircling the mind of an aging maid...like vultures
       waiting to descend

Capturing those passions left unspoken
from a self-conscious shy student in church choir.

His flawless skin drew me in like an invisible magnet.
My eyes followed his every unnoticed move
        in anguished longing.

My silent lips uttered no audible words even when
he reached out to touch my long deep golden hair.

I reminisce and suddenly he's right here
His jet black hair and handsome face remain frozen
in youth as my words left, unspoken.

Premium Member ''silence Sweet Solitude''

the solitude
the silence
silence of a bee in the forest
silence of the leaves
leaves on majestic trees
leaves my soul quivering
quivering treasures
quivering happiness and joy
joy of freedom and journeying on
joy in my soul beyond time
time entangled in vines
time to pause in the emerald
emerald windswept meadows trembling
emerald velvet foliage creeping
creeping and creeping the embroidery of green
creeping sunlight fills the shadows
shadows are where the violets sleep
shadows hide a hundred chirping wings
wings of the poets dreamy muse
wings of a little butterfly kissing the decay
decay in the tangled branches
decay beautiful and divine
divine tufts of yellow
divine bliss in silence
silence in the garlands of green
silence in hushed echoes
echoes of unseen songsters
echoes of wild streams bubbling and flowing
flowing pen
flowing words and verses
verse amongst the scattered dandelions
verses in the whispering calm
calm the clusters of vines twining
calm the bliss
bliss in a deep canopy of towering giants
bliss under an azure above
above the cowslip and foxglove
above blue birds fly
fly downy wings
fly with the sweet wind
wind that whispers in my ears
wind that lifts the tufts of pretty flowers
flowers wilted and dying
flowers with petals forlorn
forlorn my poetic words
forlorn and weeping
weeping on tattered paper in solitude
weeping poems and rhymes and verses
created in the silence
solitude . . .
