THE EIFFEL TOWER
In the city of light their aspire
Was to build to a climax higher
Gustave Eiffel you see
Said just leave it to me
I can satisfy all your desire
Monsieur Eiffel seen with affection
By Dames de Paris for perfection
Of his manner de Gaul
Mais plus ca most of all
For his grand magnifique **ection

I opened my love to a beautiful day,
In rain, in hail, and cold,
And my heart ran off, to your open arms,
To grasp, to nurture and hold,
With love on your pillars, reaching up high,
Above all the love in the town,
My heart, in your arms, played like a child,
Played with what it had found,
And that was a freedom for happy and fun,
Freedom to do what I do,
To be a red balloon in a cluster of black,
As I happily walk beside you,
Now, since our bubble of free is secure,
We can turn our colours up bright,
And we can become the rainbow of fun,
The beautiful rainbow at night.
Euphoria in a lilac haze of love blossoms ~ the world askew!
Gustave Eiffel's tower's an eyeful.
The view from its top makes me stifle
a gasp when I look down.
My stomach flips around;
I might just lose it in a trifle.
Love has no border.
A poem of love
for to embellish
a soul accomplished.
They are songs
that exist
between two persons
who love each other.
A world done
with love and tenderness.
Beauty of Paris rising high
Such massive latticework is seen
At night a golden color's view
Three levels given public's try
Restaurants on levels are keen
This tower's sight could be for you
~*~
iridescent rainbow hue of alluring view
heart's living essence now in screw
whole unscathed life is in glue
her name is no clue ...
oh love, love, love
like white manoeuvring dove
vagabonding in sense being's above
fate and will - hearts' soul shove ...
you're a scented exquisite flower
petals of warmth's dew in shower
a lady as comely and refined as the Eiffel Tower
I'm a beau, a secret lover ...
you're the effulgent golden daystar in my vague murky dusk
you're the incessant driblets of rain in my ghastly drought's mask
you're the sculpted key that opens my obscure, nebulous life's door
now, no query - " I LOVE YOU " , please don't ask WHY no more.

A Redneck Visits the Eiffel Tower
By Elton Camp
I hadn’t never been over to that Paris before
And I shore don’t care to go there no more
Most of those folks look like some sorta kook
And they all talk in this strange gobbley-gook
Them Frenchies, they call it the City of Light
And I have to admit they’s got that part right
But that tall tower that they like to brag about
If they’ll ever get it finished, I have my doubt
They started building it over a hundred years ago
But only got as far as the iron framework though
They better get some walls added to that thing
If they expect that any rent it’s going to bring
It’s tall enough that it could have a lot of floors
It would hold a bunch of apartments and stores
Unless they close it in, that iron’s gonna rust
Then whoever’s stalling around will get cussed
If in building it, they are never gonna get through
Then it seems to me there’s only one thing to do
I can’t see how there can be any really good excuse
Not to tear it down and give that iron a good use
A dream for many a watch for some
The Olympic journey, Here it comes!!
It was in Paris, few days ago
It rushed a shiver from the head to the toe.
Flags carried through the Seine river
The horse was galloping in the water, even the ring of the high jumper
In the city of love, the flag was hoisted upside down
And all witnessed by the mighty Eiffel Tower.
Starting with the game of Pole Vault
A game not known to many by default
Mondo Duplantis broke the world record
Not only was it the world’s but it was also his own record.
Next is the pride of India, in shooting
Manu Bhaker with double bronze, proving
that doctor and engineer are not the only professions for a women.
Creating history for India on many levels.
Gymnastics is a sport that cannot be forgotten
It was a display of skill and expression.
Simon Biles and Jordan Chiles bow down to the gold medalist,
Showing sportsmanship with a twist.
It was time for the Pakistani athlete to prove his nation’s worth
Arshad Nadeem with a throw of life or death
Creating the new Olympics record in the world of Javelin
Leaving the previous champion with a silver.
For India the well-deserved gold was in question, Sports isn’t all colors
The event of wrestling brought lot of tears
Vinesh Phogat was into the finals
But 100 grams put her back in spirals.
The sport of badminton was not far off
Lakshya Sen with a heartbreaking rip off
Defeating many unexpected, to play the bronze medal match
But placing 4th after almost creating history.
The journey of many ends here
Like Mutaz Barshim who had the gold near
But, is satisfied being the bronze winner
For he is the most decorated high jumper.
The gold dreams of the Indian hockey team thrives
But the journey of Sreejesh, the goalkeeper revives.
The team walks away with bronze
Not only making India proud but also the “state” of Kerala.
A dream for many a watch for some
The Olympic journey, Here it goes!!
It shall last in memories for all, but
it has now left a magnificent show.

a tribute to her serene majesty
the one and only and forever Eiffel tower

enhancing French horizons
A European holiday, breakfast in the finest city in the world
Paris, so beautiful in the morning.
She sits with her back to the Eiffel Tower,
because this is her sixth day here,
And she is being witty and charming.
The croissants, and eggs are made to order.
Silver teapot and coffee pot old world charm.
Her handsome young man faces her, not seeing
anything on the table or the Eiffel Tower.
Her beauty takes precedence over everything else.
Have you ever climbed the Eiffel Tower
The view is magnificent, entranced by the hour
But the problem is
Didn't think I'd live
Became breathless and pewky, what a downer
