Premium Member If stars were Gold

In
your
absence
I float in
psychedelic ink
to design a labyrinth with
rainbow roses drenched in turquoise tears and metaphors.
But, if stars were gold, and I am love, you'll be the poetic garden that feeds my soul.
Maybe, someday, I'll be more than just a faltering feather~will you then, remind me, how to sing again, steal the light behind the jade moon?

Premium Member Magical Moonlight

I
love
walking
at midnight
as moonlight shadows
dance on the inky blue ocean
and watch as they sparkle and shimmer like tiny stars,
pirouetting gracefully like prima ballerinas with the ocean as their stage

Premium Member A Very Good Man

He
may
not have
the perfect
face and body,
but I can see into a soul
radiant like the omniscient sun in azure skies.
In indigo nights, I press against his heart, longing to possess his perpetual light.

Cold,
numb
In my
deep depths of
vanished existence
Runs in darkness without a goal
I never resting, goes in opposite directions
Unknown in wilderness without qualification, even tears freeze to ice crystals

I
fear
the night
most of all-
when voices whisper

Premium Member The Moon Knows

  The
moon
never
chases stars
of lilies that glow
in sparkling gold, she knows her worth~
is more than waltzing jewels carrying crooning lies.

Premium Member Saudade of Stars

I
roam
alone
where the ghosts
cannot touch my spark,
nor steal the sear of soaring moon,
for I am the violet zenith of an arcane
chimera aching and breathing in the afterglow of primordial love magic ~
and in the saudade of stars, I held my muse… as tonight, I need you a little closer than the homesick heat kissing this soul in silence,
as I no longer weep as a victim of the devil’s weak harbingers, camouflaged in color-drifting liquid currents of lethal lapis blue, as if these sighs of forgiveness resemble the face of a fool’s paradise…

Premium Member Our Time

our
time
cashed out
way before
the meter expired
sending our dreams somersaulting
helter skelter to the whims of what never was planned
leaving fairy tales breathless, our favorite song, weeping still, in the landfill of love

Premium Member Meaning of Life

Life
Spins
Shuffling
A playlist
Sequencing events
Encapsulating fierce lessons
Exuding a gentle breeze that conveys fear triumph
Savoring nectar sweetness brought with living each moment as first day of existence

Form: Acrostic
Look in your eyes unveils a smoldering ember that could make Gibraltar crumble.
One in a million heart that magically kindles fire without matches. Nothing...
Ventured, nothing gained in this rewarding game of love; a four letter word that
Emanates such sweet ecstasy. And no, I don't mean the drug

Premium Member The Faraway

I
am
a boat –
glass-bottomed.
Released to the sea,
I drift dreamily with the tide.
Finding my will’s strength, I float myself to warm waters.
Life beneath me flashes brilliantly; I’m captured and enraptured by the faraway.

Premium Member Lotus Minerva

She's

a

diamond

sun of snow,

envied by venus,

lifting her peacock eyelashes

to stargaze beyond pinkish petals of mild moonrise,

enclosing rusts of rosy jealousy in ancient ruins like lotus Minerva.

Premium Member On Seeing the Moon

As
the
full moon
softly casts
its pearlescent light,
the world sleeps undisturbed tonight.
My heart throbs with yearning upon seeing Luna’s glow.
I see no star to wish on, but what I wish for is as distant from me as that moon.

Premium Member Flight of the Bluebird

My
soul
sings a
symphony
of perpetual
omniscient narrative lyrics.
Tones reminiscent of dew-kissed bluebird lullabies,
enchanting like stars in indigo skies and blossoming like fragile fragrant jasmine.

Premium Member Moonwalking Memoirs

I'm

the

white fog

layered on

gold-jasmine face of

the orange moon, shimmering with

shy starships and laced along hailstones of honesty;

When the sapphires of earth are etched with orchestral milky beams, smeared with ominous balms,

I want you to weave a cherry-crescent with periwinkle dreams and let aqua-pink amulets swing with gossamer threads of lotus-life,

which shall pull my sempiternal heartstrings, as frost of the last snow kisses the lunar orchards, twirling upon maroon ruins of moonwalking memories. I'll forever be that silver haze, lingering in your soul's seascapes.
