Premium Member Touch Me

"In Touch With Myself"

I can't seem to find her
The reminder of yesterday
I shut my eyes for a few seconds
Only there, can I reach to bear upon her face
The moment I open my eyes
The earth opens and she disappears
Every now and then
Darkness takes form around the blank wall
It brings out a long lost silhouette.
-I inhale a small desire,
reaching and tracing every line left behind.

I Just can't seem to reach her
The girl drowning deep inside
I turn around to look and feel no one by my side
It's been long since she slowly faded away
I gaze into the mirror and miss her every day
For one second past,
I swear she was there.

Lately, I can't seem to find her
That girl I was before
Empty feelings continue to lounge about
Rejecting yesterday away.
-Honestly, I don't know why I bother,
holding on to somebody that is no longer there?

Premium Member View It From Afar

To appreciate our planet,
begin with its snowcapped mountains;
where sunbeams morph crystals of ice
into gems of glistening light.

See pink clouds hover in the skies
afloat on a vista of blue;
and a setting sun smear scarlet
onto puffs of marshmallow white.

And jungles at its equator
create a sash of vibrant greens;
while burnt sands ripple Earth's deserts,
with shifting dunes of tans and creams.

See Earth's leafy forests change from
deciduous to evergreen;
and tundra pitted with blue lakes,
fade to stretches of virgin snow.

And volcanoes erupt in flame
spewing plumes of ebony smoke;
lava bleeding from gaping wounds,
while giving birth to molten earth.

See azure and aquamarine
waves crested with white foamy froth;
and two tilted poles, capped in ice,
sparkle like crystalline jewels.

View it from afar, as it twirls
within the vacuum of space;
like a phantasmagorical
cerulean marble; called Earth.

Premium Member Words - the Heart of Imagination

This seasoned evening
sported a full faced
Orange Kool-Aid moon.

Fully aware it was a marvel
it shot me an arrogant wink.

Not once but twice.

I think i heard it laugh.

It certainly flashed me an impish smile.
Not much different than my own.

No camera could ever capture
a moment this precious.

This needed,
words-
the heart of my imagination.

I stepped inside.

Pen in hand,
iPad at my right side,
laptop in front of me,
desktop computer behind me,
electric typewriter on my left side
I was ready.

I only hoped I would be able
to express in words what
I had experienced.

I penned this.

This seasoned evening
sported a full faced
Orange Kool Aid moon.

Fully aware it was a marvel
it shot me an arrogant wink.

Not once but twice.

I think i heard it laugh.

It certainly flashed me an impish smile.
Not much different than my own.

Premium Member My Far Side

You say, I’m too far,
towards the far side?
It’s a hazard of my left-handedness,
that I see the logic in abstraction.
Worlds lay within worlds
and colors bleed personality;
Oh, it may be distasteful
in the world of mathematics
to give a square five sides;
not in my world,
it’s a box with the lid open.
Into that box I pour
my imaginings,
things that only I can see
of which, some folks display
their jealousy;
they accuse me of being backwards,
of not following the rules.
In my world, rules are
shades of grey,
monotone
monotony,
my imagination
does not obey.
No one tells me that
a cow can’t be purple,
that clouds can’t speak
or that you can’t draw the
invisible realms.
Step into my guitar and dance,
it’s playing itself for you.
I’m an original, you see
and I travel in
imagination’s zone.

Don'T Bother Me

Don't bother me with conformity
don't bother me today-
with things I should (or shouldn't) do
or what I shouldn't say!

Don't bother me with conformity
my house is not “obscene”...
Orange, purple, and lavender
look lovely with lime green!

Don't bother me with conformity
I'm much too happy, carefree
to wonder why the neighbors all
keep staring so at me!

Maybe they're jealous of my tail
I really don't give a hoot!
Surely they have seen before
grown-ups in zebra suits?

Don't bother me with conformity
...too busy to follow your lead!
I've whatcha-ma-call-it thingies to build
and unicorns to feed!

Don't bother me with conformity
don't worry me this way!
You've stepped on all the faeries toes
and run the elves away...

Don't bother me with conformity
you're being such a pest!
My mud pies were quite fabulous
and not a “filthy mess”!

Don't bother me with conformity
my music's not so loud...
Accordions are delightful-
See? It's already drawn a crowd!

...Respectfully holding their applause
until I reach the end-
Oh no- they really love it so!
You're quite mistaken, friend!

Don't bother me with conformity
come dance a jolly jig!
You really should loosen up a bit
you sad, forlorn, old prig!

Don't bother me with conformity
No thanks! I've had my fill...
of boring, bland, and deathly dull
no doubt that boredom kills!

Don't bother me with conformity
Oh, what was that you said?
Well, I think you (and your boring lot)
are the crazy ones instead!

Premium Member Laminated Love

Frozen flames pressed between each sheet
I flip every page while taking notes
Censoring every event in my past
I fall deep when staring at the painting on the wall
Every blink feels the same when in love
However, on this one night, I stumbled
On a certain page, I found my heart beating twice
The roof at this moment allowed the moon to illuminate inside.
A memory unfolded while I held your hand,
Repainting our years, a devoted love
At the heart of everything, I've forgotten this feeling
The canvas opens more than an old chapter
the beautiful canvas, tied by solid gold.
Flames brush every wall as we age as one
In perfect harmony. TOGETHER
Laminating our love forever

Premium Member The Forest

"What happens in the forest stays in the forest"

The trees are trimmed,
The leaves on the ground
Proposing passion, sweet mist
Naked with nothing to bare or wear
Nature's breath lightens the atmosphere
She breathes in, he breathes out
The auditory sensation of rain
   - drums down and deepens
The course is near its end,
Deep in this forest night
A Gentleman among the trees,
Hibernating new seeds

"On the other side of the forest"
He guides a path, with ebony eyes
A convincing vent, I accept
The fear is broken, I sleep in glee
The whispers disappear
Drying in peace by the secret bayou
Broad leaves lay under raw landscape
Lulled by the chills he quills
A quarter past midnight
Mr Romantic
   - prepares the new sheets of Winter.

Premium Member Butterfly Kiss

*BUTTERFLY KISS*

I'm still alive and I don't know why?
My heart survived falling from the butterfly sky

Caught by the hands of destiny
With visions only I can see!

My love I heard your call
Wings of a butterfly broke my fall

Love motion is in the air, a love no one can compare
Indulging a look-a-stare- that we both share

Reminiscing our love made out of stolen hope
Awe~:*! To them butterfly kisses that felt so real

Flowing like Amazing Grace,
A shining light upon my face.

I traveled fast and far, longing to be in your arms
I desire, the warm sensation of your charms

Your safe love will help me carry on,
With the strength and bond~the love you set upon

Nothing is better than a sensual butterfly kiss
Beyond the sensation of heaven's pure bliss

Fluttering in the clouds aiming for the moon
A dream of reality, out of my cocoon I bloom!

Valued by the art of true beauty and its rarity
True love flapping in the midst of clarity

I entwine that I am yours and you are mine
Bonded together till the end of time

With the vision, my heart is no longer blind
Two broken hearts at last combined

I glide below to touch your lip.
Our lashes touch from tip to tip.

Caressing each other as our wings expand
Two hearts- kisses collide and land

Holding your hand reaching to the rainbow sky.
Kisses:*kisses:* like the butterfly!

Dedicated to *My Babe*

I Write

Tiptoeing towards the edge of the towering cliff

I flap my wounded wings and fly

over tall two hundred year old oak trees

up to the top of the highest of mountains

scanning a never ending sovereign sky

I glide effortlessly in the strong southern trade winds

watching the fawn and her doe in the wilderness

My heart starts to beat, and I write

I write of the fragrant fancy free daisies growing unrestrained

of the sun smiling down

reflecting in the fast flowing babbling brook

of the doe munching on the savory green and yellow grasses

oblivious to her surroundings , the fawn firmly within her sight

I hear the songs coming from the red breasted baby Robin

calling to her mother wondering when she'll return with dinner

my heart beats lovingly and I write

I soar higher and higher heading for the heavens

past the mammoth yellowish orange coloured moon

through the mysteries of the milky way

all along thinking of the mysteries lying inside you

I open my eyes, imagine I'm with you and I write

Premium Member The Ride

The old man looked a little out of place
Astride his pony on the carousel
A smile from yesterday across his face
As if he were entranced in some strange spell

A silver knight upon a silver steed
A cowboy riding herd out on the range
The little boy inside had been set free
Between the up and down, we watched him change

And when it stopped he sat there deep in thought
He pulled the little boy in with a sigh
A memory is what his dollar bought
I'm sure the price was not what made him cry

Premium Member My Inner Voice

I leave the daily hustle and bustle
and the cacophony of city sound.
And head to where the leaves softly rustle
in the breeze, and no one else is around.

When I'm alone, I experience peace
that raises my soul to a higher plane.
And anxiety's attacks slowly cease,
free from critical critiques and disdain.

Seclusion fuels imagination;
shaping reality within my mind.
And it's a feeling of liberation;
unrestricted by rules of any kind.

Whenever I seek solitude by choice,
I heed the whispers of my inner voice.

Premium Member I Wish I Were a Unicorn

I wish I were a Unicorn
So smooth and white with shiny horn
To prance and dance on clouds up there
And spend my days surveying air

I'd stop and visit clouds of rain-
Those darker ones, which are a pain
When they release their water flow
   On earthly beings down below

I'd then check out a fluffy one
The kind that always blocks the sun
It would be best to take a snooze
While 'neath blue sky I'd float and cruise

I'd love clouds more at sunset time
When glowing colors make them shine
A Unicorn would like it best
   Upon a cloud that's shiniest

At night, I'd fly up near the moon
See how the tides are kept in tune
Come morn, I'd go close to the sun
To see how brand new dawn is done

Again at dark, some stardust find
The finest and most brilliant kind
To sprinkle on my wings of white
And store to share the starry light

Perhaps I'd make it way up far
To find the place where blessings are
I'd seek the ones with greater worth
And gently throw them down to earth

I wish I were a Unicorn
So smooth and white with shiny horn
I'd monitor the earth below
To sprinkle it with stardust glow

Premium Member Musings On Faith

What if love is the religion,
and heaven a voice
with no ego;
synchronized in
harmonious hope,
speaking dialects
of kindness?
What if hell is a myth,
and evil lurks as shadows,
dressed in greed
and insincere speech?
What if there’s no fine line
between dusk and dawn?
no strained streak between
darkness and light,
blurring out visions
of wrong and right?
But If love is the religion,
would the Universe
tame the storms
raging above holy shrines?

If honesty can see through
the sunless eyes of
sinners crawling
as nocturnal creatures,
preying on gullible souls-
disguised as saints,
would they mend
sacred survivors?
for, they’ve conquered
colossal galaxies rising
from unbeatable infernos.

In a world that is oblivious
to the grieving clouds,
drizzling tears from the azure.
I wish, you and I, would read
the same book of intuitions;
scriptures that reveal
no name to the faith we behold.

Sometimes, I close
my confused heart,
allow third eye to
roam and reach,
to find heaven through
astral waltzing,
across spiritual realms,
where hymns of healing echo.

Perhaps, it’s been
etched in karmic kismet,
that amidst fleeting time
and passing seasons,
love shall rise like
a forgiving flower,
sprouting from emptiness.
Embalmed in jasmine rain water,
pouring upon the
emblem of empathy.
So, don’t speak, just listen,
close your eyes, awaken
your awareness to the air,
witness the unspoken truth,
swirling through weary winds,
caressing fragile skin,
like eagle feathers.
Seek beyond all that
which shimmers,
there flows dreams that glow,
woven with faith;
a combination of meraki,
and divine elements.

~ATLANTIS~ Featuring:) Kelly Deschler

-------
Can't be re-written by the Gods
The land and sands of time'
Destroyed by the fire of Poseidon's curse
Atlantis swallowed by: Earth
--------

In one day and one night
Peaceful existence met its end
Built on a volcano, now surrounded by ancient rippled tears
Lava stripped apart the rich and glorious empire
Enriched by Engineers and Architects whom loved power more than the Gods
Forgotten souls, sheltered by a watery grave
History withheld from shallow sunken memories,
Western sky's hide the truth, a vision from the Pillars of Hercules
"An island situated in front of The Strait of Gibraltar"
Ghostly ruins wait to rise above the Mediterranean and Atlantic Waves
A magical island held down by the hands of death,
~
Atlantis lost city walls ---a secret hidden by mermaids
Partially buried, beneath the ocean floor it lies
The largest sunken treasure never to be found
Magnificent pillars of an imperial palace still stand
Somewhere hidden under ancient sand
Some are leaning against turrets, that toppled after the impact
Nothing human will ever inhabit these walls
No feet will ever touch these staircases, again
Only an eerie silence now resides here, with the blue-green waters
Seaweed grows along it's outer walls, like ivy on a trellis.
Obscuring it even further from the human eye.
~
Other ocean tides will never compare
Tantalizing blend of fantasy and mystery
Stone walls covered with precious gems
 -Listen to PLATO'S voice-
"Look close, Look close, into the sea!"
Through the light and Pillars of Hercules
Some where out there buried in the vast
ATLANTIS THE PARADISE
