A Cathartic Weave Of Three

Listen to poem:
listen, the whispers of leaves turn colour autumn is here. now that you are gone who will wake every morn to lift the sun unveil the sky etch in the clouds who will paint the rainbow? i had a dream and in the dream i wove you a poem i used the fiber of my character to create spools of silken thread dipped in the juices of my passion i dyed them in the colors of my imagination re-enforced each and every single strand with the strength of my love touch, the echoes of the rain - waters - blossoms spring. now that 'us' is just a word no longer with you as one i alone wind up metal toys cut out paper dolls the beach swept from under my feet the child in me flees. spun spools from the intricacy of my spirit designed a pattern to the rhythm of the music of my inner thoughts enamoured in your vision crystal beads gather on my brow as i toil your finely bred gift as i braid every part of me with every memory into every sliver of fabric taste, uncut snow shapes crisp cold ices the wintertide. instead now rusted a fools gold chain of loneliness hangs around my neck like a noose mourns a union that once had breath a twosome that now is dead. see, the sand sculptures paint rekindle a childhood summer past. sew in the loving glow emits my flawless dreams with my boiling blood initial my woven piece my work at an end i awake you lay there a wingless angel asleep smiling as if you heard a bell ring your boundless warmth embraces me the moon no longer smiles the stars no longer wink smell, seasonal airs stimulates senses memories they deliver. without a touch barely - i kiss you. in this my decade of one hope is a wickless candle the night just day without light in the glee, hopes and dreams, in the human spirit, lives the miracle of life. magnificent voices in every pitch deep and resounding, the melody of echoes and whispers – uncut. Ice Cream

''Like Ice Cream''

Having ice cream with you,
Brightens the entire portrait in my youth.
Like catnip for a cat
-- the Reese's fun never stops!
Like monkeys in a zoo, above a tasty sherbet treetop.

Ice Cream with you!
How sweet, the imagery of 31 different treats
Cold butter and salty Placid water, with the works
Amaretto peaches, and slushy sauce --- twerk
Dandelion haven- above a marshmallow rocky road
Fireflies flicker around the fresh Lemon Drop Sky
A delightful sundae breeze on the crest of my tongue
Soft frozen chocolate dessert, nothing can go amiss

Ice Cream with You!
So many to choose from,
Savor the delicious flavor
---of Butterscotch homemade rum

There's no other place I'd rather be
Lost Inside this forever hazel mint joy scenery
The ultimate indulgence in one icy bite
A cream coconut cherry delight
-served on the side with apple pie
In a cup, on a cone, my vanilla waffle boy
Everything-- about-- you-- roams free
like tubs of ice cream dreams

Listen to the sound of soft sprinkles cinnamon
The happy feeling that melts when you're around
I'm packing a giant scoop of Ice Cream from your heart

Adoring and Embracing Life
Every time you say the words
...I love you...

:)

Eyes of Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope eyes

A universe of change
Round and round I go
Unfolding-
My spirit of envy and gold,
The nascence of a new stone
Hazel room, vibrant lilac sky,
Deep orange haze in a tender place
Arms of sapphire and cornflower blue
Fuchsia beauty drip
All colors drifted-
The first day we met
Visions of dark slate-gray
Fade away
Firing up the new age gem
Turning and creating different stars
Magic mint skies
White antique petals follow the current of air
Opal dreams, clouds embedded with impurity
My heartbeat produces flashing colors
The palest amethyst bluebonnet forever fields
Flawless tear drop streams
Diamond shaped love
Ruby red promises to keep
Flowing into the deep
Every color spins new
The day I fell in love with you
Peridot lime green tint
A love as old and gray
Olive brownish sun
Honeydew skin
Our future, deeper than aquamarine
Every day you turn fresh new seasons in me
Changing the sequence in my colors and effect

Kaleidoscope Eyes
Reflect by the mirrors of you
Crystallizing everything

---

On One Knee

Listen to poem:

if you wanted to dance with me
i mean really wanted to dance with me
then i would
i would dance with you

if you needed me to walk on water
i would stand there until the lake froze
then i would
i would walk on water for you

if you suggested i climb
a mountain
warm at the bottom
freezing at the peak
i'd buy you a snow globe
turn it upside down and up
hold your hand warm
watch the freezing snowfall
climb your suggestion creatively

if you mentioned
you'd like me to paint your portrait
i'd buy every different colour of acrylic paint I could find
blend them on a canvas
paint your colourful internal portrait
every crayon in the box
that's who i see

if you said move me
i wouldn't hire a truck
or even touch one stick of furniture
i would write this poem for you
put a bow on it
fingers crossed
i would move you

your lips are always on my mind

if you want a man
willing to do...
...a man...
...hold you gentle but firm

i'm here

ring in hand
on one knee

A Peaceful I Love You

An early outing for my friend and I
We walked the winding path down to the springs
The uncut winter hay is now waist high
And in the morning breeze it softly sings

Red Indian paintbrushes are in bloom
As are the downy phlox and dogwood trees
How sweet the smell of birth in nature's womb
Attracting butterflies and honey bees

The passerine song birds are in full throat
While woodpeckers and sap suckers keep time
Mid air, white cotton hayseeds gently float
So gracefully they dance their pantomime

And in that moment, in the tarnished hay
The gurgling springs still hidden from my view
With nature's springtime beauty on display
I heard her say a peaceful. "I love you"

A Tear-ful Conversation With My Daughter

It starts with only one - one like me... a melancholy migrant from the immortal part of her to the locus of her physical being; the center of her emotional wisdom ~ I gain heartfelt strength as I gather my forces rising up en masse riding cresting waves of woe to breach the ramparts; the welling rims of her loving eyes. It starts with only one - one perfectly ripened drop of sorrow; this beautifully packaged pain and a lustrous cascade of soulful pearls ensues wept gems pouring forth from a pure heart ~ I am the tears your mother cries. O' Middle Child

O' middle child, dear son of mine, you have always let the others shine
All through the years, you have stood behind
---I want to say, I've noticed you

Your sister's charms, of course, we knew...
And your brother's skills were multitude
But, my quiet child, though your words were few
---I want to say I've noticed you

While people cheered, and guitars were played,
as your siblings sang upon the stage
You cheered them on with no restraint
---but, I want to say I've noticed you

Such wit and charm, a heart of gold,
More generous soul, I've never known
A shoulder you will always lend
---a brother, friend until the end

I love you all, .....of course I do
I have watched you grow, each one of you
My quiet child, you are still the same
---you'll step aside from all acclaim

As parents now, all three of you
I am proud beyond the words I hold

My middle child, I hope you know,
while you've always been a one to sow
a quiet gift to all you've known

---I want to say I've noticed you........

je t'aime 'neath a Banyan Tree

The story behind this poem
The curiosity of many of my readers (many of them women) was excited in my previous poem ‘Passion in Black and White’ POTD 6 March. They wanted to know more about the ‘Magical Tree’ and Café’ in the poem.

This is the beginning of the story the grandiose Banyan tree, a tree species I have always been drawn to since a child. It is magical and real, depicted in the photographs of me sitting under the tree.

The tree is over a hundred years old and it majestically rises in the middle of the International Market Place Plaza in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii. The café, in close proximity also exists and is known as ‘Kona Coffee Purveyors French patisserie’ serving the best coffee and French pastries.

I trust you will enjoy the poem, the music and ‘Passion in Black and White’ posted previously, where you can follow me on a romantic, magical encounter…

Branches delve deep - concealing secrets - so hush Linger - abandon cares of a trivial life - no rush Sacred spirit residing in resplendence executes To tawny earth branches and to Heaven its roots: Whispering …’je t'aime’… A mere shadow of reality - no substance ‘tis true A life of materialism is - but a darkness whirled brew Rain puddles mirror its own spiritual visage In the still water the tree in its reversed image Whispers … ‘je t'aime’… Lost for words - in dreams - answers we seek Hearts submerged in doubt do still entreat A God inhabits - seek Him out through the maze Veneration to the ‘One’ to whom we praise Dismiss all uncertainty to the questions we raise Whispering …’je t'aime’… Ephemeral scepticism gone - here swathe in sanctuary Blossoming love in captivating honey dew ecstasy Untouched by this mad world - lovers dare connect intentional thought to boldly declare ‘je t'aime’… “Excusez-moi mademoiselle is this seat taken”? In lisping French pronunciation – you inquire The look in your hazel eyes of carnal desire combusts sparks into a blaze of heavenly fire Whispering …’ je t'aime’…
Foot note - About the Mystical Banyan Tree. The massive banyan tree is the national tree of India, also called Indian or Bengal fig. Considered sacred in India and can be seen near a temple or religious centre giving shade to travellers in very hot summer months. In fact Buddha was said to have received his enlightment under a tree like this.. In the Bhagavat Gita, Krishna said, "There is a banyan tree which has its roots upward and its branches down, and the Vedic hymns are its leaves." (Bg 15.1) Here the material world is described as a tree whose roots are upwards and branches are below. An observer will notice that the Tree reflection in water is upside down. The branches going downward and the roots upward. In similarly, it is the material world that’s a reflection of the spiritual world. The material world is but a shadow of reality. In the shadow there is no reality or substantiality, but from the shadow we can understand that there is substance.

ON THE SAME BLESSED GROUND

When I see the moon, I think of you. When the flowers bloom I think of you but with the rain my teardrops fall. If only I could have given my all. I would have been the happiest dreamer that ever dreamed a dream. The sun would shine if only you could have been mine. I would have danced all the time and sang a song of love to you that to no one else I could ever do. Instead a hymn to God I sing of thanks and praise that He my dead heart did raise and for a little while I was aglow with love I thought I’d never know. But alas, sometimes I give in and grieve, my feelings on my sleeve. Heartaches and blood seeping through my skin so thin. And I pray forgiveness for this sin of nursing the pain I should hold within. But because I loved you so I knew I had to let you go. I will always be blessed by the day you came my way and loved me too like no one else could ever do. So, my dear. Do not fear. I will always be here thinking of you and seeing your face that from my mind I can’t erase. I just pray to God to please be kind and next time ‘round we’ll be born on the same blessed ground. GRANDPA

*GRANDMA WAITS IN THE GARDEN*

Hi, grandpa, it's me again!
Your dentures sit in an open glass above the nightstand
Remember the tears grandma sang before she passed?
The way she looked into your eyes,
Moments before she said her goodbyes
Grandpa, I found a note from grandma,
She waits for you.

Hi grandpa, it’s me again!
The rocking chair is old and dusty
Remember the way grandma sat me on her lap?
Read many stories before I took a nap
How she enjoyed stroking my hair with her hands
I miss the way she rocked me to sleep every night

Hello, grandpa!
I stored your hearing aid away
Remember that special musical box in grandma's drawer?
I opened it last night, to watch the ballerina soar
I wish you could hear the tiny chimes grandma loved
I hope you don’t mind, I’m keeping grandma's favorite scarf

Hello, Grandpa!
I'm caressing grandma’s picture frame
Remember the way she looked in the yellow pretty sundress?
Grandpa, I miss the things grandmother did for you
Like the walking cane, she handcrafted before she left

Hello, grandpa, it's me again!
Here I sit holding your hand
I have no more tears
Soon you will see her again
She will no longer be alone
Say hi to her, give her a kiss
Tell her I miss her so much
Bye, grandpa

My Heart Skips a Beat My Love

My heart skips a beat my love each and every time
I’m with you my dearest sweet and lovely Darling
Since the passions and feelings you stir in me
Touch the very depth of my inner being and soul
And render themselves not to mere words only
Suitable for depiction, exhibition, understanding
Rather to the image and strength of your beauty
And your rapturous desire and feeling as they
Defy rational attempts at any simple description
For you are the most radiant beyond all compare

My heart skips a beat my love when we lie together
Locked in a most enchanting embrace and kissing
So deeply, palpably that we run out of breath and pant
Anxiously at what comes next in our mutual longing
And crescendo as our passions explode and express
Themselves in a most hungry trail of urges and desires
Which makes finding love for us all the more magical
Pairing us together like a couple of star-struck kids
Lost impossibly in moments of hope and imagination
In a timeless world of love, desire, emotion, and oneness

My heart skips a beat my love when we walk so closely
Hand-in-hand talking, laughing, and living our dreams
Confronting the world and taking on whatever comes
Next as we steer our ship of destiny on a true course
Where our like-thoughts and deep love for each other
Mean something quite special that only Dreamers and
Poets can imagine and set to melody and harmony in perfect
Verses of sheer passion and delight painted onto a canvas
Of unending happiness where Heaven and Earth are one
My heart skips a beat my love when we’re forever one

BetweenThe Lines

Between the lines I walk a million miles You hold me in your arms a hundred thousand times Between the lines I wonder about your dark and serene nights Are you all alone,Is there someone on the phone Is there someone by your side Rubbing off the colours of my little smile Between the lines, you're on my mind I will spend a lifetime searching for your eyes Searching just for you,Oh darling if you'd knew Would your lips make love to me the way they used to do Will you come between the lines or leave me feeling blue Between the lines there's a paradise,Between the lines I write So many words unsaid, many moments gone, and wishes still unheard Between the lines ,between the lines I write you'll once again arise Blazing in my heart like a candlelight You still live inside of me,you re-appear suddenly You keep getting closer ,so unexpectedly Between the lines, yes you are still there ,and I am still here We were meant to be,never to be set free Between the lines,,between the lines I write
This lyric poem is inspired by a Lionel Ritchie's song 'Hello'

Time Machine

Ride with me on my time machine to a different time and place
Return with me and let me see if I can put a smile upon your face
To the days of AM radio and the TV was black and white
To lying in a grassy field and counting stars at night
Popcorn and soda in the balcony at a Saturday matinee
Parades led by the High School Band on Decoration Day
Dressing up and going door to door on the night of Halloween
Cigarettes rolled in your shirt, pretending to be James Dean
Pep rallies before the football games, everybody stand and cheer
Going in the woods with your friends at night, sharing a quart of beer
That feeling inside, turning red, when she smiled at you at the dance
Wanting to kiss her goodnight, but you were afraid to take a chance
Playing chase tag at night in the neighborhood, hiding behind a tree
Holding hands with your first steady, so all your friends could see
Medicine Show at the end of town in a giant canvas tent
Saving pennies for a rainy day, fasting on candy for Lent
Going for a Sunday ride with Mom and Dad in the family car
Playing in the yard at night, putting lightning bugs in a jar
Drag racing on that long stretch of road, Chevy was hard to beat
Stealing peaches from a neighbor’s tree, always seemed so sweet
Riding bikes all over town, never knowing the meaning of fear
Identifying cars by their tail lights, make and model and year
News and Stooges at the theatre before the movie starts
Valentine’s day I love you written on tiny candy hearts
Easter bonnets and picking flowers for Mom on Mother’s Day
Opening day at the community pool the last weekend in May
Sock hop in the auditorium, collar up, trying to play it cool
Meeting friends at the usual place, everyday after school
Six for a quarter on the juke box, music that would move your soul
Return with me now to those glory days and the birth of rock and roll.

~ Painting Mona Lisa ~

Absolutely enchanting I thought ~
As I drew the curtains wider, to allow in a bit more light....
Returning unto the canvas and dipping my brush
Into a slightly brighter shade of beige
Thinking perhaps just a touch more violet, a dab of red, and, a stroke of amber
Until, I heard the door bell ring, breaking, this mesmerized trance....
Sitting my palette down, and lying my brush aside, atop a colored cloth
I turned to see who it was, that was there?
"Hold on dear, I shall be right back," I whispered
As she smiled amid a radiance, that stopped me within my steps
How rarely seldom does one get a chance like this I thought?
If it is truly important and I know them
Then they shall kindly call, or possibly even leave myself a note
Besides, what an unpleasant reflection it would be, to even but for an instant
Interrupt this dream....
For no greater beauty have I ever beheld, nor have I ever found, then this
Perfection within everyway I believe, is whom she is ~
"What's wrong," she asked, "are you not going to see who it is?"
Glistening eyes, as I fixated upon her own, mirrors, of an endless hue
"No, not right now dear," as I then, poured her a drink
Smiling as she gracefully arose, proposing a toast I said
"To this moment, this day, to you and I, this time, and, amore"....
As I slowly reached forth my hand, to tenderly caress her rosen cheek
And to glide my fingers gently, through her shining auburn hair
"Here dear," leading her loveliness softly, "here, sit right there
That the sunlight may embrace your boundless beauty
This magnificence of your splendor, these wonders, from whom you truly are" ~
Glowingly she smiled once more, as with a passion, I then kissed her perfect lips
"I love you," she uttered
While as the mornings dew lit rays, reflected upon her enchantedness
As a glittering arose about my own heart, and a warming, within my now raptured soul
"So do I my love, I love you more," I returned
Retrieving my brush, my palette and my cloth
Exchanging glances amid knowing thoughts, these souls, so intertwined ~
"Excellent, do not move dear"
As always was captured forever, within, this moment right here....

Soul mates solace

When my final shadows cling on desperately
Where I fight formidable battles
to merely hold the light
I send you loving vibrations
and soul sustenance
Deep from the cathedral
of one heart to another
where today no choirs sing
nor symphonies play
Yet it is here where we meet
in spiritual solace
here to surrender
and exchange inestimable treasures
recollecting memories
like unopened letters
Galaxies are stretched
over chronicles of shared history
Nebula birthing stars
will be exposed
in forth-coming conversations
bringing short-lived fulfillment to you
Hungry to feast
now will be the time
to approve your blood art vision
and with my own haunting surrender
as dappled shades ink stain your chest
I will reside with you and share, mesmerised
pens - by branding
as this will be your written reams to me
your artist's pallet or brushed canvas
no need for words
and yet creating
mysterious magical moments
Bitter-sweet the music
that dances taut guitar strings
but now blood approved
please go kick your heel up
return to your laughter
and ride on the breeze
for not all are lost
change not
for I am with you always
to love, listen and comfort as one
with you in me and I in you
as masterpiece

Lonely Dreams

I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.

A Rose In The Heather.

So still and beautiful lays the rose in the heather,
Lifeless and dying, given to bring you happiness,
So fragile is this rose laying in heather,
Slowly withering and drying, crumbling to a powder,
I look at you and see this rose ever fading,
Once growing, living, accenting its surroundings,
But now gone, plucked from the bush by one mans lust,
I could never compare you to this rose laying in the heather,
For your beauty surpasses its own,

So still and beautiful lays this rose in the heather,
Now dried cracking and dead, stored in a book to bring memories,
So weak and faded is this rose in yellowing heather,
Slowly falling apart as you touch the fragile petals,
I look at you and remember the flower when it faded,
That germinated and grew where I had sown its seed,
Now gone, plucked from the ground by one mans hope,
I would never compare you to this old heather and roses,
For its life was surpassed by yours,

Now I tell you I love you with cellophaned roses in heather,
Draining lifeless this dying confession of my dreaming,
This rose is more fragile then the first had I gave you,
But I could’t approach, my courage eroding at your sight,
I look at you now and see the love I sought inward,
Once alive and growing but only within lost confines of myself,
But never quite gone I hold this consuming fire close inside,
I could never combine your world with mine,
You always looked passed never noticing me,

Now I open my book that holds the first rose, wishing I gave it for the sake of
chance,
Instead I hold a created memory that never came passing,
That never could I fear,
I hold tight to the lie that through wonted silence I painted,
But that chance for your love died with the first rose wrapped in heather.

Just One Touch Of Your Hand

Just one touch of your hand and I taste the late evening stars It would help me forget the last sound of poured rain yet it makes me remember those undying sparks Just one touch of your hand and I live once again in moonlit yesterdays I'd belong to that time When you came in my life Looked me straight in the eyes and rekindled old flames Just one touch of your hand and you're mine You're mine and mine alone You're the breeze on my cheek the smile in my sleep You're the feeling I feared yet a feeling I need all along You're the present and past You're the dew in the dust You're the moment, the memory You're mild passions once born An emotion's serenity. Just one touch of your hand makes this heart understand that the sun would never be gone Its never too late to reach heaven's gate To whisper I love yous as I place a blue rose on your marbled headstone.
Just a note-Absence or death are not the end of love but only the beginning of a feeling that is deeper than love itself... And I have loved you more than love itself.. a fiction poem

Princess

Princess, princess, please calm down,
Wear your diamond, glory crown.
I’ll make you queen, someday, you’ll see,
As long as you will marry me.

Princess, princess, don’t hate me,
I only wish that you could see.
That I love you with all my heart,
I wish that we will never part.

Princess, princess, don’t you die,
I promise you, I’ll never lie.
Stay with me through life and death,
And please don’t ever hold your breathe.

Princess, princess, don’t you cry,
I will never say goodbye.
It hurts too much to leave your side,
Like all of me has stopped and died.

Princess, princess, don’t you see,
I’m your prince, and groom to be.
Forever together, and never apart,
I give you my all, and even my heart.

Your Body, Your Touch

Your feelings in a group of touring innocence
travel up North towards trust and sincerity
in sweet submissive care like a carefully rubbed suede.
You put day light into your entrapment
for noontide to go nonstop.

Caress from yonder, massage from under
your skirts make appetite nonchalantly mourn
your legs present so nutraceutical to manly weakness.
If your bones are licked by wild beasts
the jungle would be protected by the ghost of sweet affection.
If the rains fall through the planes of your body
vapours of lust and desires will spring out of the Earth.

Your expensive flare, expresses you as a needed nougat
sliding pleasurably though wet lips in a greasy enjoyment of noodles
with aroma and taste capping up a nouvelle cuissine.
Night is dead from your day-long engaging chemistry
making the aggression of your nubile emission
in ration to any attempted resistance an improper fraction
when the night's light strike your contrasting body
for the creation of a mobile image so dark and graceful,
nature will sit down beauty for a serious interview.

Barbie

Barbie
from Loch
March 5, 1990

I fell in love in a biker bar
with a girl in chocolate hair.
It swept around her like a smoky fire
and woke up the beast in my lair.

Her bright eyes twinkled like brilliant stars
at the end of the moonless road--
they called to me like a siren song
to lay down my heavy load.

Tall she was like a square rigged ship
	like a mast shrouded in clouds;
and she could dance like a foamy wave,
	making Neptune cry out loud.

But the path of a ship is a bubble
	and suddenly she was gone--
her chocolate hair and vanilla neck
are moments in my sad song.

This siren's memory seizes me
like cinnamon schnapps and a grin
which warm the body from the inside out
and settle a smile on your chin.

Her dancing hair drove my clouds away
	and opened an azure sky;
and all I asked was a tall, thin ship
and two stars to steer me by.

Among all the women I've danced with
	none are remembered so fair
as a girl who walked like a tall ship,
and had waves of chocolate hair.

The Message in the Sun

I went to the sun for a favor
and asked it to shine only for you
to grant you happiness though you may be sad
bright yellow 'midst so much blue

but when the day decides to end
and the sun sinks and goes away
I give you the moon as a reminder
that my love will never fade

though i can't tell you how much I love you right now
and I can't show you what's in my heart
i hope when you look at the sun and moon
you'll realize we aren't that far apart

My Love Knows No Form My Love

one with the music  a vestibule for magic  love fills the night air
Let my aura deep red spill onto the page,  I an instrument in the name of poetic rage,                                                L                     O                   V                    EVOL...VES Into a voice deep and vibrating, with words feathered and lulling. We are love... Love!, nothing and everything. With you in the serenity of nothing that my love is everything.  scampers a bright moon  gifts liquid life a lit view  watch them rendezvous i wrote you a star covered night built you a sun with a dimmer light i turned it down warm and low called it a moon, made it glow i rhymed you an early morning hush so quiet you could hear a person blush i sketched a fully carpeted globe dressed it in a thick soft robe i painted it in greens, blues and a palette full your own flower garden with no weeds to pull i sung some words, some harmonized notes strummed you a new world, one that floats ...a pyramid each and every word, romance... I  do know my true love  it will make you  light headed but free. Space is that way, you know but you'll adjust. A small price  to pay these days for liberty. A chance to live in a world of ours, just us together and lives of all kinds. Maurice Yvonne

The I Love You Conversation

"What do you know of love?" I seethe....
a well of passion longing to be freed
"I love you," the words I finally breathe
and think you'll know this burning need

"It's not enough," you say.
"Find another way...
say...say it differently
This, 'I love you' means
nothing to me.
Let the words break through
the mold of meaning
and be born anew
make me understand....
this...'I love you'
What does it mean to you?
I've heard it before, you see
and then after some time
I was shown out the door
Say....say it to me....differently."

"I know its overused and abused," I scream....
"but not by me...never by me!
How can I make you see?
bordering on the cliche..
What can I say?
Nothing will do!
nothing's good enough...
good enough for you!"

So I slash my breast
my heart bleeds through
in crimson warmth
I cradle you
I bath you in my salty tears
and let you in
to cloistered dreams
I let my body say it right
in liquid letters in the night
then wake you with a gentle kiss
and wrap you in
delirious bliss
each day: a testament that's true
of thousand different 'I love yous'

"So tell me now
Why you can't see
the truth that these words
mean to me?

Should you still think
these words are weak
then hear my heart
and let it speak."
