Premium Member Twilight Aurora

Like an interrupted dream
shadows of the one
who inspired it
linger like morning dew.

No aroma and no taste,
yet I'm left breathless,
as thoughts reminisce.
I listen to this tired heart,
as one deep breath results
in a thousand sighs and
I don't want to be found,
but yearn to understand
why I feel like a million
crumpled stars, silently
sprinkled like paint drops
protecting the moon,
feeling like glue holding
the universe together

and who am I to disturb it?

Her beauty was a merited gift.
Her departure unnecessary.
Her lips without speaking
could rewrite history
and I wonder
can she hear these sighs?

Her call is the one I want
to answer for eternity.
To speak until no words remain.
Give until there is nothing -
submitting to her submission
is life's greatest victory.

Twilight aurora,
night flower of this heart,
you shine in emerald velvet
hues in shades of scarlet.
Like a rainbow, your presence
brightened the horizons.
but just like the stars you
disappeared with daylight -
your absence leaving
behind blackness.

Premium Member Lavender Licorice and Lemonade Lakes

You taste as if twilight were—
lavender swirling like smoke from the earth
licorice lingering with the full moon’s soft pull
a sweetness both dark and divine.

Your skin sparkles with starlight
electric and soft as moth wings.
We sip the pink sky
lemonade lakes cascade through our fingers
time unspools between our hands
while the past drinks from our open palms.

The air crackles with floating florets
each breath a promise, unspoken but heard.
If love were a color it'd be you—
violet and velvet
honey and slow-mountain dew
the universe holds its breath;
galaxies halt their ancient waltz
as they struggle to name us.

And if forever had a flavor
it would stain my tongue—
sweet, dark, endless—
a love so vast
even creation forgets what came before it.

We are the first poem ever written
and the last song left unsung
our love the verse that never fades—
Just like lavender licorice and lemonade lakes.

Premium Member Lullaby My Lustrous Twilight

Golden-flecked bliss
of enraptured blown-kiss
stardust bestrewn

beguiling skies
bespangled sequin eyes
shimmer in swoon

in midnight hours
from celestial bowers
lift blest voices

balmy hymns calm
serenity’s sweet psalm
saints’ rejoices

O, motherly
heartfelt heavenly night
lullaby my lustrous twilight

Love - swaddle me
in starlit cocoon’s blue
singing silk songs till dawn’s debut

ambrosial dreams
showered in jasmine streams
angels’ water

immerse in sleep
your virtuous well deep
baptized daughter

melodic sky
divinity’s stars sigh
spiritual

nirvana floats
seraphs’ musical notes
air's lyrical

O, motherly
heartfelt heavenly night
lullaby my lustrous twilight

Love - swaddle me
in starlit cocoon’s blue
singing silk songs till dawn’s debut

Twilight Composers - Repost

~

Here on the night before yesterday’s dream,
twilight composers retreat
Laughing at whispers a’ flow on the stream,
happily taking a seat

Practicing meadowlark lyrics to sing,
strumming a toadstool in tune
Awaiting the light that the fireflies bring,
blinking a wink at the moon

Tulips with tambourines gather around,
spider web chandeliers glow
Shade tree sonatas, a wonderful sound,
echoing up from below

Pine cone recitals and blueberry sighs,
star dust ovations in rhyme
Choruses sung beneath velveteen skies,
harmonic three quarter time

Orchestral canopies glisten above,
melodic rainbows the view
Performing songs written solely of love,
played on this evening for you

Premium Member To Touch the Breast of Twilight

Soon, sunlight will yawn on the edge of dawn
and I'll welcome the warmth of his morning rays,
but never could I liken them to the great love born
when I feel your sensuous touch that sets me ablaze.

Impatiently, I wait while my heart is yearning
for daylight's journey to cast shadows over me.
Restlessly, I watch the hands of the clock turning
until the hour when the sun surrenders into the sea.

When skies are awash with an amber glow
I become eager to touch the breast of twilight.
Watching as grains of sand in the hourglass flow,
knowing when comes the moon, dreams take flight.

A pearlescent gem, she lulls me to sleep
when gracefully ascending upon her throne.
It's then my reverie descends in slumber deep,
and ardor's silken threads are passionately sewn.

With our hearts ignited by a stellar flare,
we circled the moon on diaphanous wings.
In Luna's lair we made love with savoir-faire
while starlight dreams caressed my heartstrings.

It's no wonder impatience is mounting
before the moon rises to her zenith height.
Hours move much too slowly as I'm counting
the hours when I can touch the breast of twilight.

Premium Member Elysiums Lost Melody

In dreams of yonder, wishes wistfully conceive,
A cradle of lost tomorrows, where shadows sway;
To a realm unseen, where hearts believe,
Past where twilight’s lulling lullabies lay,
A world where reverie and reality secretly play.

Through the veil of verity…
     …Aisling nocturnally creates,
Mountains of moonlight, rivers of rhyme,
A world untouched by changing tides and capricious fate.
In this land, where we lose track of all time,
A place where voices harmonize; oh, so surreal, so sublime.

A city of silence, a forest of fears,
The cloud-kissed towers, an ocean of sorrow,
Beneath twilight's gentle, silent tears.
An ephemeral world free of yesterdays and tomorrow,
A dreamscape unfolding where sleep freely borrows.

A tremor runs through castle walls,
A sigh escapes the forest deep,
Twilight's tears turn into calls
Of roosters waking from their sleep.
The ocean's sorrow shimmers pale
A canvas primed for sun's first brush.
The mountains, caught in morning's veil
     Dissolves to silence, whispers hush.

As a new dawn dances
     the dream dissipates
The illusion shatters
     reality reinstates.
For the land was an Elysium delight
A mere mirage in the moonlit night.
Dissolving in dawn's delicate dance
…like a mist in morning sacred light.

Fading Starlight sifts through leaves, painting emerald shadows on the ground.
Lost in the morning's mellowness,
          a sigh escapes,
               the dream departs,
                                   unrenown…

Though dawn reclaims the waking world,
a yearning in my heart resides,
For Elysium's lost melody,
where time and sorrow gently subside.

Twilight

Sealing eyes of sky,
       Descend upon straps of light,
Dusk…now dreams the night...

Premium Member Your Twilight Years

When you reach your twilight years,
It is important to keep an active mind,
Do everything possible to minimize fears
Leave resentments and regrets far behind,

Try not to dwell on all your pet peeves,
But seek out the positives in your life
Stand firmly for your cherished beliefs,
Avoid headaches from pettiness and strife.

Keep in mind you’ve only your life to live
So, try not to take on the lives of others,
Remember it is always more blessed to give
Through serving your sisters and brothers.

Lastly, try not to succumb to needless worry
Or becoming entangled in all kinds of grief
Take your time, there’s no need to hurry
Old-fashioned rocking chairs bring such relief!

By Starlight

How proud stands the willow
in silhouette of twilight skies.
The willow never weeps alone,
tears of joy stream down cheeks
at the footbridge where she
touched the water, where
Moonbeams dance
In the land beneath falling stars,
In the land of purple thunder as
Lightning strikes in an interlude to a
Fleeting rainstorm revealing
Hidden beauty in moon glow.

O, how heavenly!

A Rendezvous, echoing of ethereal eyes
In a magical stairway to the stars...
Whisper me a song, my love, a soul song.
She dreams of sentient stars forged by fire
In universal streams of light as she
Gazes wistfully heaven bound.

Premium Member twilight tremors

tonight …I’ll romance scented silence
as dusk kisses the heart of harlequin horizon~
dripping memories ~ in cacophonous clemency…
but to feel the finesse flames of love,
illuminating the trembling tip of a sizzling skyline,
   I’ll draw a smoky stairway to the stars;
an ambience of garnet granules… shifting, in crooning colors…
for between the rising sighs of the sun
   and the setting eyes of the moon ~ farewells float;
like ineffable verses frozen in timeless rhythm..
I ponder, is the sky a gloaming mirror of eternal footprints,
unveiling hallelujahs of heartbeats in heaven?
as I still hear your song, paused on repeat, in our favorite chorus…

   ~ perhaps I am a word dreamer ~
     saturated in weeping winds;
        trembling from poetic fever
          jolted by twilight tremors
  bursting forth acrylic dews
               in pigments of pensive blue…

Premium Member Timeless Twilight

The jade moon no longer illustrates~
  poetry that illuminates synthetic flowers,
and the timeless trinkets of twilight,
refuse to rhyme halcyon hymns in twinkling hues.

Tonight, I sit in crippling confusion,
drawing fireflies across the onyx sky;
  suspended in painted illusion,
  searching for swirling pink diamonds.

Yet from the saffron silence of sakura in blossom,
I find crystalline colors of butterfly bliss,
though I’ve long been awaiting rosemary rain,
to emanate a balmy muse amidst inked pain.

Now this rustic heart aches to be,
within the amorous arms of amethyst dusk,
there I’ll rise to the music of lotus love,
be anything but a caged weaver of faded stars.

Here In The Now, Amidst Fleeing Of Twilight

Here in the now, amidst the pale twilight
that fleeting moment, - dying of the night
that most precious air, - dying of the light
cometh, morn's breath, - its beautiful new sight.

Here in the now, within mind's newest eye
that pondering thought, - let my spirit fly
that exquisite joy, - sweetest tears I cry
cometh, renewed hope, - truth I'll not deny.

Here in the now, as that whisper so thrills
that divine promise, - love needing no pills
that merciful vow, - relief from world's ills
cometh, beautiful truth, - love over-spills.

Here in the now, amidst fleeing of twilight
That stirring moment, - waking God's divine might.

Note (1.):
Poem born from a dream last night
awakening to a day so bright
as twilight's new rays therein gift,
sweet poetic words to uplift,
heart and soul into joyous praise
relief was born from dark malaise.

Note (2.)
A new month, a vow to have a new and positive new start.
To attempt to compose more positive and uplifting verse.
To deny the dark clouds that attempts to overcome
To walk in the light and deny the dark that seeks to destroy....

Reflections In Twilight

Angels in twilight
Reflections of affections
Dancing in starlight

When angels entwine
Harmonic explosions of devotions
A love divine

When angels embrace
Roses and wine will make you mine
With satin and lace

When angels dance
Starlets on fire with great desire
A burning romance

When angels fly
Dropping wishes of kisses
Amidst the jasmine sky

When angels sing
Humming in orchestral celestial
Vibrations in their wing

When angels dream
Marshmallow clouds over the crowds
Sitting on soft lavish green

When angels cry
Tears of wasted years
Reflections in my eye.

Premium Member Walk With Me Tonight

Will Thee walk with me tonight ?
Amongst the spirits of Twilight
Gothic verse we wilt recite
I wilt gage not to bite

Wilt thee with me slowly dance ?
As we descend into lover’s trance
With thy charm thee doth enchant
Speak thy wishes
For thee I’ll grant

Both frozen in the midst of time
Our soulless bodies wilt entwine
Flush lips of blood sip scarlet wine
On those lips I yearn to dine

Permit my domination, let reality depart
Allow me to enter thy beauteous blackened heart
I implore thee anon, mine beauty of dusk
Within is a hunger, replete with lust

Cometh let us now abscond
Dip our toes in reaper’s pond
Milk the moon so we may swim
Filling it’s juices to the brim

Bathe with me in lacteous splendour
Mine hands around thy waist so slender
Our bodies melt to form a bond
And as we fuse I doth respond

So bid me now to take thy hand
And lead thee to a world so grand
We will liveth still into this night
Eternally dancing beneath spellbinding moonlight

Premium Member Tenderness of Twilight

In the tenderness of twilight,
calmness of the air,
silently caressed her skin

hearts floated like a gentle breeze.

Illuminating her persona,
naked moon reflected against
the softness of her cheeks

sweet whispers evoked several senses.

Envious stars sparkled,
transcending a galaxy of kisses,
radiating against her lips

and who was I to resist.

Her petal lips,
sang to me like a lullaby -
my heart danced like a butterfly

sensual souls serenaded sweet symphonies.

Infatuated shadows gazed until sunrise,
as embers intensified, embracing
Earth's window of wonders

a love was born into eternal bliss.

I still see that night in her eyes;
she always insists it was the stars,
but I believe it was the moon.
