Why Am I Here

Spelunking inside her mind,
searching for the answer she cannot find.
She keeps looking, draped in fear
as she asks, why am I here?
No one is guiding her path
she only exists as an aftermath
of two drifting, lost souls
who were unable to define their goals.

Two humans united on a withering night,
giving spark to a life without delight.
How could they in such despair
not be fully aware
that the seeds of poverty they sewed
would grow up to be predisposed
to a life of abject gloom
because their spirits contained not one bloom.

Growing up with a feeling of being alone,
keenly aware she didn't belong
in a community with a rare glimpse of grace
for a family seemingly out of place.
Streets lined with false facades
of people believing they were a favorite of God's.
A little child unable to discern and find her way
became the nasty people's prey.

After years on the battlefield of life,
she again feels the pain that cuts like a knife.
A divorced mother of two; one a father, the other gay,
they both live far, far away.
She bows her head to pray,
and ask why does it have to be this way.
Her heart is empty of cheer.
She softly whispers, why am I here?

Jane hua kaya muje

    Jane hua kaya muje

Jane hua kaya muje jo duoba hu
khayalo mai tumharey, tum bhi
schoti ho guoom na ho jaou khi
esei yaad mai ki dewaney ney khai
chod di apni saansey jo Jane kou
chalti hai mere naam pey saja
tho mili muje jo yaad karta hu har
ghadi bana kar mitas apne dard ka
Jane hua kaya muje jo deygha nahi
payar tumhara bus yaado mai
hai khayal tumhara......

payasa mare ragistan

Payasa mare ragistan

Chat masala dil ka
Gosala sina jala din
Jo ooga raat hui mai
Routha haal ey dil banyan
Kaya karu aab sansar
Bhi mujse puchey sawal
Kaya hai razz Kasey lagi
Choat mai ney kha bus
Dekhi kisi ki muskan
Haar baita apna jism
Dawa na daru bus intazar
Hai uos sham ki jaab
Dikhaou apna dard oodan
Kaya bherey choat hai ghari
Jaisey payasa mare ragistan

Public hai pareshan

Public hui pershan

Aab tak chali jo
Baat dekh kar tumhari
Muskan dhakan thi
Behal puchey kaya hai
Naam baato ka silsila
Yaado ki ghadi waqut hai
Registan public hai pershan
Kouki dil par hai tumhari jaan

Aab na socho kaya thi baat
Kou hui raat din ka intazar bataney appna haal public
Hai pareshan Janey tumhara
Naam
Dosto ki dosti yaro ka yaar
Saab puchey kiski hai muskan
Kaya Mai bataou tum hi do jawab public hai pareshan

Ood kar dupata

Ood kar dupata

Resham sa badan sehrni
Si chaal mandri ki maala
Ganti ki awaz ood kar
Dupata pooch leyna mera naam
Na Miley jawab tho chod Jana apna
rumal ansu na Girey khai warna
pad jayey daag ood
kar dupata ley lena meri jaan
