Best Remember Me Poems
Remember me through poetry
For poesy's my legacy
Poems for you I leave behind
Engage your heart, your soul and mind
Remember me, when the wind laughs
For there, I've left my autographs
When the zephyr tickles your cheek
Memories will flow, hear me speak
Remember me, when seasons shift
In recollections, catch my drift
When Summer turns to Winter pale
I'll be there in the stormy gale
Remember me, when music flows
A part of life in highs and lows
I am the unsung song you hear
That timid voice, now loud and clear
Remember me, when sunrays dance
Don't forget me, give me a glance
I'm the light in dappled shadows
The sparkle in sunlit meadows
Remember me, when the rain pours
In the drizzle, I am all yours
Catch me in reminiscences
I've crossed the murky distances
Remember me, when flowers bloom
When their aroma fills the room
I'm alive in each open bud
I'm the crimson rose's lifeblood
Remember me in silent nights
When darkness overcomes the lights
I'm the shine of the farthest star
The moonbeams prancing from afar
Remember me, forget me not
I am the story and the plot
In every twist of your old book
I am hidden, just take a look
In every word that you spell out
I'm the whisper, no need to shout
People will say, "Just leave her be"
But I tell you, "Remember me".
Remember me...
A fresh sweet scent
of last gardenia
on yesterday's linen sheets
Remember me...
A cherry bud
in your backyard orchard
revealing first pink shades
in once upon a soft blown kiss
Remember me...
An early summer
sharing your beach towel
and coconut butter
Remember me...
A roaring log fire
on a stormy night
in the hallway
to your bedroom door
Remember me...
a short~lived star
that fallen into your arms
then faded to nothingness
upon the empty shore.
Remember me ...
The blissful moment
The saddest song
in your forevermore
No one can forever soothe a soul,
as all memories evaporate like sunrise dew,
but remember me
when mist congregates at dawn.
Recognise my ghost,
when the fresh breeze brushes your lips.
I will be hiding in the khaki hues of nature,
from the first bloom,
to the last thorn,
to the last leaf,
as my spirit is the essence of four seasons,
so remember me among the 'forget me nots,'
and the scents that bring a pause.
When you paint your masterpiece of dahlia,
don't ignore the moon gazing in awe.
Unless you have given him a new name.
In the tranquillity of twilight,
notice me beaming, surrounded by lanterns.
Unless you no longer recognise my eyes.
In sun searing reveries,
as turquoise waves soften sandy ripples,
listen to spirits whispering our lyrics,
and remember me when adorning lilac fibres,
which you stripped from my chest.
When thunder knocks at your door,
and lightning flashes at your windows,
will you remember me
in the humidity after the monsoon?
When the path is dark,
and the journey turbulent,
will you commemorate me in you sighs?
I cannot return the souvenirs,
gifted to me from your words,
nor erase double edged metaphors,
where love's reflection, once glittered,
so when your muse is lifeless,
relive our recollections
without the need for ink.
Upon the arrival of silence,
when your hands have nothing to hold,
place them together
and remember me
in the sacredness we once shared.
Simple Sunday Musing.
21/6/26
They walk silently along my hallways.
Floors littered with faded finery.
Do you remember my Granduer?
I had once been called the Queen of the sea.
Pulled down to the ocean's floor.
Swaying silently, so many sad souls
They are entombed here
Forever a part of me
Left to wander my halls
Sharing this watery hell
Faces frozen in skeletal grins
Evidence of our eternal sadness
Fish now swim across my stage
The band is silent
Still I remember
I absorbed them note by note
They played till my last moment
Yet it was not for my benefit
For I had betrayed them
My promises were empty
Temptation, travel, time together
Some mercifuly escaped
What did they remember of me?
Some came back in ghostly form
Searching for those I had taken from them
I will not release them
For I do not wish to be alone.

When Winter comes, remember me
beside you on those ivory sands
If frozen fingers reach for thee,
arise and fling aside her hands
As you awake on shortening days,
when Winter comes, remember me
We'll pray that Frost forsake his grays
and set arrays of color free
Light snow may fall so subtly,
bright notes on parchment sheer as sleet,
when Winter comes. Remember me,
that I might play each shimmering sheet
Short interlope of Summer gone,
I'm owed no scope of reverie
but hope you will, from this day on,
when Winter comes, remember me....

blue forget-me-not
brilliant beautiful bloom
always on my mind
23rd March 2015
Remember Me
Cold wet coastal today
I escaped
Sat myself behind a sanctuary
The rain beating rhythms
On window panes
Hot coffee and brandy
Warm inside The Athena Café
Radio spends its missed tuning
Hissing tinny tunes
Love songs
Of losing
Love songs of having
Love sings
Of wanting
Blank the grey sky
Flattering dreaming thoughts meander
On emotions wandering
Focus themselves
With photographic memories
I see
The smile
White satin dressed
Curls of auburn red
All I fell for
All I lived for
My Princess
Her crown tilted
The mischievous angels
Of her
I sigh
As my fingers remember
They once ran themselves
Through your hair
As my lips in accord
Re-taste the peach
Of kisses
I once knew
Sometime so long ago
I can hear your voice
Silent echo
A touch in my soul
Sentient it is
Hieroglyphic speaks
Reverberating something
Deep and known
My eyes replay moments
Of vague tactile loving
These trespasses
And these memories wishing
Batter at some-where’s
Deeping
Inside of me
Aching
Longing
Word forms swirl
In printed pages of you
And send messages of distance
So far from me
So far
From you
To a horizon which is
Part of me
Out into grey meridians
My heart travels
While my seconds record
The splitter and splatter
Of rain on the window pane
Looking back at me
With your reflection
Another cigarette
My coffee cold
And nothing but froth
The heat of my brandy
Matches the twists of floating smoke
Sends my thoughts out riding point
To the cavalry of clouds
With the banner of love
Rides wing-ed horses
With fire on their hooves
Lifts all this nescient knowing
Rushes headlong
To you
Tiny rippled pools
Drop on the sheen
Dark colours anew
Of rain fall continues
One more coffee
No more brandy
Time to leave slowly
And some how find an end
For this poetry
Find a way to Morse code my heart
Out into expansive skies
And wrap my arms
Around you
I remember the home
Of holding you
The rain has stopped
Death – Remember me Tomorrow
Votre amour est tout ce que j'implore
Angels took us from France's shores
To the promised land of lady liberty
Hollywood glitter enticing us lovers with mystery
Living the past in a cinematic telling
Ironic that love was sourly spurned
By Bogart’s charming quilted misgivings
Madeline, later would sadly sing
La Marseillaise, while lovers embrace
Paris after dark, they disappear with no trace
Trains to death and boats to freedom
As Casablanca tells of romantic tales
Je suis vieux, est je suis seul
The beautiful one misses the past and you
All the ships have sailed and gone
It’s the cemetery now where I rest under lawn
I know I haven't seen you
I know we’re miles apart
I know I cannot hold you
But I feel you in my heart
Is it wrong to think of you
And you to think of me
Trying not to want
What we know can never be
Wondering, should we start this
But it’s already begun
Unable to undo
Potential damage that’s been done
Torn between what’s right and wrong
And what I feel inside
Knowing what will be there
When I look into your eyes
Feeling so confused right now
I find it hard to sleep
I know I’m standing on the edge
Of something much too deep
If we fall, will we lose it all
Or find a love we can't deny
Just one touch could change it all
So tell me, do we run...or do we try
If this is fate, I don't want to fight
Even if forever isn't true
I want to feel you for just one night
So I can hold on to you
Destined for one night of love
One night that we will treasure
One night filled with ecstasy
Where we will come together
But when our night is done, I wonder
Will you set me free...
Will you let me go...
Will you remember me...
By Raina Hutchins
The sun shines yes I know
A heavy gust as the wind wants to blow
Leaves flying high in the sky and then hitting the ground
The sun decides to fall as the moon decides to rise
As darkness begins to be all around
Remember my smile as the sun that shines
Remember my breath as the wind blows
Remember my feelings as the moon begins to rise
Remember me even when I die
The fire burns everything in sight
But the rain rids its heat with all its might
The cold weather is now here
And the sun begins to disappear
Remember my love as the fire burns
Remember my pain as the rain falls
Remember my hugs as the weather gets cold and dry
Remember me even when I die
The breeze cools everything and everyone down
Even that sad person walking into town
Listen to music on the days you have a frown
And at night dream as you lay in your gown
Remember my passion as the breezes begins to settle
Remember my words as the music plays
Remember my inspiration when you start to dream
In the heavens I will be lifted up high
So remember me even when I die

Remember to
Remember me
Even if that means
That you will not forget
the bad times that we shared
I just want you to
Remember to
Remember me.
Remember Me
Remember me when I am gone,
No need to shed those tears.
For I am in a better place,
Where I have no more fears.
Remember me, my lovely child,
I will always remember you.
I loved you all so very much,
And hope you loved me too.
The time has come, for me to go,
But I won’t be far away.
I will be walking by your side,
Each and every day.
So come sit with me a while,
And try not to be so sad.
I love you all so very much,
I was proud to be your Dad.
Remember me (like this)…
A smile that made your heart
Feel lighter
A word that made your
Day brighter
An embrace you only wanted
To be tighter
Please remember me…
Like this
Forget the frowns
Forget the pouts
Forget the downs
The angry bouts
Forget the times
I wasn’t there
Forgive me for that
Frigid stare and…
Remember me like this…
A hug whenever you
Needed one
A back rub…
late at night
A place to go to
When you felt so low
A touch that felt
So right
Remember me…
The provider for the family
Companion always there
Old friend and confidante
Cuddly Teddy bear
Gentle soul with good intentions
A moral man who could not lie
Humble man with no pretensions
A man you can’t forget, even if you try
A stubborn man…I’ll give you this
A simple man…tho’ a bit remiss
A man always ready
with a tender kiss
So when, (and if…) you reminisce
Please remember me
…Like this…
Remember me when I am gone,
no need to shed those tears.
For I am in a better place,
where I have no more fears.
With Gods embrace I'm happy now
it's a lovely place to be.
There is no more sorrow,
it's as pretty as the sea.
Remember me my lovely child,
for I'll remember you.
Just pick up all the pieces,
and try not to be so blue.
The time has come for me to go,
so hold your head up high.
I know your feeling lonely,
I'm right here by your side.
Tell all your kids I love them,
and not to be so sad.
For I love you all so much,
I was proud to be your Dad.
I Love You!
I am here when You need me
my voice You do know
I’m right here beside You
remember… You know.
Don’t let what’s in front of Your eyes
stray You from what You've learned
be what You are instinctively
don’t let go of what You earned.
Nothing should hold You back
only time should be Your goal
for what’s determined in this life
is concluded by Your soul.
So stop with the pity
and get on with Your life
Yourself has been waiting
for You to bury Your lie.
