Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

It's up there
The star that shines for me
Named on the day I was born
My guiding light, shines free

When I was a baby
My mam sang to me when I cried
Twinkle twinkle little star
Said was my very own lullaby

I look for this star for guidance
In my every day
I look up and ask am I doing things right
I know the answer right away

Do what you heart is telling you
Look up and see my light
I am just a twinkling star
Yes I am showing you it's alright.

Early riser, coffee in my hand
Watching the stars as they fade away
Yes, twinkle twinkle little star
Go, I'll admire you another day

Your light has come so very far
From a different time and place
A distance I cannot comprehend
Through this mystery called space

When I break this earthly bond
Perhaps the heavens I'll explore
Flying to see you face to face
And walk through infinity's door

An everlasting duel afar
Between light and dark
Twinkle twinkle little star

In night sky like a czar
You ignite a hopeful spark
An everlasting duel afar

On the notes of a guitar
A caravan you embark
Twinkle twinkle little star

Riding on the moon car
How to hide myths so stark
An everlasting duel afar

Seen as lost souls’ avatar
Like the elusive singing lark
Twinkle twinkle little star

Amazing patterns yet bizarre
Hoping to achieve a mark
An everlasting duel afar
Twinkle twinkle little star

I lay my baby down to sleep
                                   Imagining the Sandman digging deep

Into his bag sprinkling stardust as she falls asleep
And I watch her fall into a sleep so deep

As she dreams of kitty tease
As trees, leaves move in the breeze

                                               Teddy bears dancing
                                                And Doggie barking

                                                Chasing butterflies
That tantalize flying into the skies

                                                Mommy and daddy
                                    Cuddling and embracing her lovingly

I sweep the toys to the side
So I can have some room by her bedside

                                            Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
My baby girl is a superstar

                                                       In my eyes
                                             She’s my prize I idolize

                                                    When she cries
I snuggle and sing lullabies that pacifies

                                                 The window is ajar
                                         Letting moonlight in from afar

                                                She’s sound asleep
In her crib sleeping without a peep

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle little star
The Star of Bethlehem--that's what you are!
Shepherds watching their sheep in the field
Saw angels on high announcing Christ's birth
The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son
So they followed The Star to worship The Son

Not only the shepherds--but The Three Wise Men--The Magi--from lands near and far
From Asia, from Europe and from Africa said--"Let's find the long-awaited for Messiah!"
And gifts of gold, frankincense and mhyrrh did they bring
To The Christ Child, Our Saviour, The Baby King

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
I wonder where You are?!
Said Herod--the evil king--to his sorcerers
Where is The One--The Jewish people call their deliver?!
The evil magicians replied--"We don't know but we know who does--The Three Wise Men--
and the sheperds in the field!"
So just to be on the safe side--King Herod had all the male babies under two killed!

When this didn't work--Herod called on The Three Wise Men
For he wanted to commit another greivous sin!
"Tell me--my dear men--where is The Deliverer?!
Me and my sorcerers want to bring gifts to God's Son--lied king Herod--with an evil grin!"

The Three Wise Men--knowing the king's evil intent
Sent the king on a wild goose chase
Meanwhile--Joseph--being warned in a dream--took his royal family to Egypt--on the run
To protect The Messiah, Our Saviour--God's Only Begotten Son!

So you see--my children--Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star--is not just a childhood story
and children's rhyme
It is the story of The Christ Child--The Greatest Story of all time!

Twinkle twinkle little star.
I no longer wonder what you are.
Because of one much like you who died so very long ago,
the Milky Way and all its contents to that departed star we all owe.
Your sister died and through her death she created the birth
of other stars, our solar system as well as all life here on earth.
If I were to witness the death of a star
my heart would be so filled with such great adulation.
For if I were to witness the death of a star
I'd be witnessing a moment much like our creation.
So the next time someone asks you where you're from
tell them that you come from a place very far.
A far away place out there in outer space,
Created in the heart of a star.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Once upon a summers night
as I look upon a cloudless sky
stars above me shining bright
the wondrous beauty of this sight
makes me ponder how and why
makes me sing with all my might

twinkle twinkle little star
how I wonder what you are
up above the world so high
like a diamond in the sky

the stars above tell their fable
Perseus, Andromeda in the sky
Pegasus in his stable
keeping a watchful eye

twinkle twinkle little star
how I wonder what you are
brightly burning flame-less fire
grant me all that I desire

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder where you are
I know I promised I would write
But someone steals my time at night

Twinkle twinkle little star
How I need you where you are
On the soup to play with me
We’re good together can’t you see

Twinkle twinkle little star
We all love you where you are
Stick with us cos we can see
How well you write your poetry

Twinkle twinkle my little friend
You stop me going around the bend
Your are the ink inside my pen
So get me writing once again

To my friend Seren. Don’t go hun you are a star luv xx

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle , twinkle little star

how I wonder who you are

it seems I can not remember

the day or month or the year

Alzheimer's is the word

my doctor said ,

that what I hear.

Twinkle, twinkle little star

how I wonder what your name

does this word mean I am going insane?

it seem I pick up a fork to eat

but I think it a spoon,

my family don't understand me

I feel out of tune.

Twinkle, twinkle little star

I hide in my room

please don't ask me to come out

don't you all understand I am

forgetting what this worlds all about.

like each bright star up in the dark sky

I only can make out certain things

now everything seem scary

and I still don't know why.

Twinkle, twinkle little star

soon I will be place in a nursing home

for it will be unsafe of me to be out and about

but don't worry I will not care.

God always with me, because he

shines a light for me from way up stairs.

Every night the glow from the moon and the stars above

keep watch over people like me

who know not what the day ahead,

or can not remember the words to them you

may of said.

Twinkle, twinkle little star

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Underneath the starlit night I journey on this desert plain
with each step the sand gets deeper, longer, and sharper—
The Pain.

This land continuously brakes possibly to the point its beyond repair
it even changes to a beach with an ocean more salt than water—
The Despair.

But as I walk I look up at the millions of bright stars and stare
hoping at some point one will grace me and shoot down my way—
The Prayer.

That’ll burn happiness into my life revealing with a warm flame
angelic eyes, radiant hair, and gleaming smile but not what I desire—
Your Name.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle Twinkle little star
How unfortunate you are

To sit in the ski all night and day
While other’s send wishes your way

They wish for love, fortune and fame
They wish for everyone to know their name

They wish to be tall, skinny and smart
They wish and believe in you with all their heart

But they do not know the feelings that you have
And that sometimes you make their wishes go bad

The fact that we get to walk around feely
Fills the stars heart with jealousy

So with a hateful stare it throws our wishes back
And with each wish thrown, the star gains a crack

And before long the star loses its shine
And it plummets to the ground, with beauty divine

And before it hit’s the ground it grants one final wish
One for a mother, and her young daughter’s happiness

The star makes its penance as it strikes the ground
Though through its tears it never makes a sound

‘I’m sorry’ the star cries for all the ignored wishes in the past
‘I wish I could go back and fix them’ but it’s fading fast

Its wish has been thrown back by another
Who doesn’t want to bother

As the star continues to throw them back
He starts to gain all his cracks

So watch for the star in the ski that looks mad
And keep your wishes for another that won’t make them bad

And remember the saying that is so true
Keep it in your heart close to you

If you make a wish on a broken star
You dreams will not make it very far

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle twinkle little star,
what a precious gem you are.
Sparkling diamond in the night,
high up in the sky so bright.

Twinkle twinkle little star,
I will make a wish by far.
Then drift off fast to sleep,
my wish I hope you will keep.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
I believe I know what you are!
You fuse hydrogen, helium, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, nickel, and some more
In your core.
With mass more than a hundred to thousands of times our own.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star
You formed from collapsing under your gravity within a molecular cloud
You’re an opaque ball of hot dense gas born from a stellar nebula
You are, so far, a protostar!
For you have yet to reach maturity
As you commence the start of your journey
To become what we know as a black dwarf.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
I know what you are

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle twinkle little star,
commercials now, then movies
far; soon your name will shine
above, theatres grand and
TV’s glove.

When they shout, for autograph,
now a wealthy man’s sure path.

Bells your fingers, rings your nose,
twenty million a picture (it shows)

Friends forgotten, family gone, once
their little star just shone; but now
there’s only time for work; big star
pay, but little jerk.
