Sleeping Beauty

It seems you only appear whilst I am asleep, teasing rapid eye movement to awake and weep. You hide, so I wonder how beautiful you must be, fulfil my desires and give me the chance to see. I believe you have beauty, eyes have never seen, which allures me to places I have never been. Maybe you were sculpted by Michelangelo's hands, DaVinci drew you a smile only he understands, Rembrandt's hand trembled at the sight of your grandeur, maybe you are the one, Raphael's angels adore. Your image mirrors Cleopatra's unique class, which fades at daylight, regrets begin to amass. I do not know your name, Silent remains the tongue, yet I fondly believe in my heart you belong.

The Amorous Mystique

Can it be, into this world we are dropped from heavenly streams that have never stopped? With sweet hope gifted to our souls delight, oceans of love and its fiery desires; ladies so fair, we thank our keen eyesight and leap into romance hottest fires. Can it be, wonderment is our reward given for living in a world so hard? With love's soulmate waiting a heart to touch, deepest seas of hot sexual pleasures; daring to embrace and love very much this bountiful store, of life's great treasures. Can it be, that in life's short duration we go beyond mere infatuation? With deeper dreams that bless spirits in need, grant romantic nights of sweetest relief; birth greatest pleasures of harvested seeds fruited in soul's spiritual beliefs. Your questions asked with pulsing energy of lovers’ wonderland of synergy.. Gifts do flow from fountain to foundations of souls inspiring minds to understand; seductive passion’s yearning flirtations of red embers roused to lusty flames fanned. In awe you long to know love’s mysteries, untangling threads in tender reveries.. Of all the gold offered in sun’s rich rays Sol would be poor in the worth of our love; for never could there be more wealth of praise than for ambrosial taste from gods above. During this life as our lustrous hearts’ beat we can transcend mundane with love’s white heat.. Our physical plane of mortal being is heightened with intimate unity; body and soul in tantra foreseeing weaving love’s strands into eternity. Robert J. Lindley and Susan Ashley (a collaboration) July 31, 2018 ______________________________ *For the purpose of this collaboration, tantra represents the weaving of strands into a unified whole and liberation of energy and expansion of consciousness*

Her Grace, Soft As The Silence Of Morn's Falling Dew

Her romantic letters, birth as heart pure and true supported deep vows we both swore to be held to. Her grace, soft as the silence of morn's falling dew with vows to keep hot passion of love that is new. Spring had brought this loving angel truly divine her beauty and purity no words could define. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. Nature spoke to her and she in turn gave away nuggets of its splendors, rich truths none can betray. As Heaven and Sky blessed her every foot fall she never said uttered a word needing recall. Her time on earth, gifted only goodness and light romancing her first love and precious was her sight. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts. Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. I read her yearning poetry each heartfelt verse and in her rapture was my being’s full immerse. Word-whispers from the page caressed me wispy thrill reminding me of days sweet gilt of daffodil and petals pink neath dream girl skies so soft, in sooth enchanting was the tender season of her youth. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts. Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. In quiet hush before sunrise our love was lush until aurora banished night in her gold rush of dawning tipsy in wine-stained heavens shinin’ desires spilled our lusty reds across horizon - a blaze of colors branding love’s intensity, time and space sparked by fired hearts’ electricity. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts. Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. Enlightened spirit from defeat of sorrow’s foe, her gift, in written verse of love, to set aglow a life of beauty echoing the words of love now distant in the skies with kindness up above when golden strings of sacred lust remain in thrills of woven love, entangled in a braid of frills. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts. Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. Her fragile throne of virtues goodness cast in gold beyond eternal love, angelic charms behold through mortal death returned to God’s celestial care to guide from heavens, words of wisdom in her prayer endowment of the past as lover’s hearts enlace with charms beyond life, she remains my saving grace. Spirited, she sang - forever united hearts. Her soft kiss and moans, treasures found on no star charts. Robert J. The Age Of Summer Love

Our summer love began in Gemini with sultry eves of wooing escapades, and as the moon did swoon as it drew nigh my lust you stirred with strumming serenades. Romance as rich as black queen tulip skies adorned with precious gems of bijou light, before they’d lose their lustre to sunrise you’d shower me with diamonds of the night. Impassioned kisses filled my sails with love, a rhumba full of rapture neath the stars with rhythmic teasing, undulations of unbridled flame of Venus and my Mars. The time of Libra brings a cool to days ~ still, autumn love sets aging leaves ablaze. Our Bliss At Its Purest We Loved Each Others Naked Sight

Our Bliss At It's Purest We Loved Each Others Naked Sight

When our love, its hottest and satisfying nights first begun
we each tried to give our all and not ever be outdone.
In that effort, soft showers of love-hearts began to pour
birthing swelling streams leading straight to paradise shores.
Within its spacious gardens, we walked in bliss, hand in hand
With our spirits singing, praise be this sweet rewarded land.

With eager hearts seeking, we sailed across heavenly blue seas
Tender love words speaking, we each wrote forever love pleas.

For precious are those diamond memories, deep their treasures
Never could such be destroyed, not those screaming pleasures!
Passion at its zenith, our burning desires at their greatest height
our bliss at its purest, we loved each other's naked sight.
O' the softness of your loving-heart and welcoming thighs
we felt heaven thanking it gifts, with both our contented sighs.

Those days are eternally burned, into this grateful soul
if time could us return, on that list we would both enroll.

Those  fledgling nights created so much more than simple heat
gave such passion never to be outshone, joined as
one made complete
Caresses, of those soft showers remade this
broken woman into more
Bathed in your paradise, unfettered I can soar
Joined as one, under the gentle gaze of the burning stars upon us
Lost in blissful moments
all around us recedes to what once was

The beauty within our hearts had a rhythm wanted by all
With the strength of our bonds we answered loves call

Rich in memories, such wealth is written in soul
and in mind
no other in any lifetime
could compare to you I find
The heaven's can't contain the love that we two share
at the highest height of our passion none can compare
Intense heat from our bodies is what gave those stars their light
Our bliss at its purest, we loved each others naked sight

My soul too will be eternally grateful for you my greatest love
as the stars and galaxies all rejoice over the love we share from above

All In All, True Magnificent Treasures Given

Luscious the fruits, beautiful under moonlit beams firmly planted roots, outstandingly hot, lush-sent dreams all in all, glorified visions, heavenly sent treasured deeply with rapture stored, sweet love-nights spent. Tender kissing bites, honeyed dessert offered free wonderful the flights, through blossoming forests of trees all in all, miracles were given, lost soul found in resplendent nights, covering soft virgin grounds! Gold fairy dusted, jeweled eyes sending bright smiles each promise trusted, an angel with no dark wiles all in all, true magnificent treasures given gracefully sent, in true-deep bliss, purely driven. Beneath plum skies starlight glistening in her eyes I see all I desire and I do fantasize - looking into her goddess blues, crystal gazing; of our wild delight to be forever blazing.. In Eden’s solitude we dance to soft sighs of waltzing wind-songs’ stirring verses promising love with lilting whispered melodies so inspiring my appetite for her wanton and untiring. Ancient woodland’s moon casts smitten luminescence breathtaking in beauty she outshines its presence ecstasy flows an intoxicating river inebriating essence in love’s deliver. Your vivacious beauty enhanced by golden rays illuminating your grace with a loving gaze with ardent reflection of my phantom desire to allow the pledge of love finally transpire. Two common souls released from infernal abyss to engage a rendezvous with heavenly bliss. Together our spirits soar to realms of delight, two lost souls united in the fading twilight. With a chapter closing in reverie’s accord we share a secret paradise of love’s award. All in all, wondrous senses of passion recall, from heart to soul we reminisce, as love is all. Robert J. His Star-Dusted Desire

He wonders at the aphrodisiac of her jasmine air stirring the breeze of his being heady in the breathy mood of her moon garden amidst stargazer’s pink whispers and he wishes that his jonquil heart be quenched by her sweet drink to sip sun-ripened nectar from the calla of her wild plum dreams Susan Ashley July 4, 2018 -------------------- * the Jonquil flower represents desire, especially, the reciprocation of one's feelings of desire and love back in return* *the Calla Lily represents magnificent feminine beauty and delicacy* *the Wild Plum represents feminine youthfulness. Melodies of the heart

In a black and white world, feathered fingertips caress ebony and ivory keys - melodically forming a myriad of vibrant and vivid hues, diversifying dulcet emotive reflections. In a world of spoken falsehood, expressions that cannot be spoken, aid each truthful touch to narrate speechless secret serenades. For soulmates who choose to listen, minds allure to the grace of mellifluous sentimental symphonies, harmonising hollow hearts through tantric vibrations, gently echoing to soothe sorrowful soundless souls. Rhapsodic pianist strokes satin white skin, tunefully kissing black lustrous lips. Hearts play music secretly establishing spiritual connections. Ivory and ebony rectangles dance in eternal kindred devotion, igniting spirits to whirl to the rhythm of sensual sensations. Last note leads to another healed composition as departing flames of passion illuminate lovers paths. A blank page appears at the end of the song sheet. Tired pianist fingers rest as the mind is absent of lyrics, paralysed to play a melody for its own suppressed heart. Lost, pondering mute tears which fail to cleanse its soul., The Silent One 9 January 2018

Your Love Redeemed My Faith In Hope

Across the dance floor, your soft sashaying gown flew with its bright waving gleams of silver dust and blue; within that blessed gaze, lonesome heart jumped a beat seeing those golden slippers on your dainty feet, feeling love's welcomed arrows shot by Cupid's bow knowing that most treasured gift would forever grow! That cool June night we walked under golden moon's beams with your heart and soul gifting love that so redeems; this man that had lost heart and walked a blind path death long ago condemned this soul to darkest wrath, torn asunder joy in life that had been a gift chained this spirit upon a black-ship set adrift! Loss of my beloved I once lived blind despair wading through this evil world's black pits without care; her sweet love reminding me of Hope that was lost, found anew when your destined path with mine was crossed. I saw the world with open eyes but could not see Faith, till sight was laid upon fair beauty of thee... Your rosy warmth danced with grace thawing my cold heart, seduced by rousing rhythm never would we part. My heart began to waltz and pallid pulse did race as I saw charmed moonlight caress your angel’s face, I longed forevermore to tilt your chin and kiss your promising sunrise lips of heavenly bliss. That early summer’s eve I took a leap of faith willing to let go of my haunting lost love wraith, I found with you the heart to fall in love once more and glissade you in my arms ‘cross life’s ballroom floor. Alone in love’s spotlight of golden moon beam’s glow you have my whole attention for you stole the show. Robert Lindley and Susan Ashley (a collaboration) June 27, 2018 ___________________________________ My poet’s note: Yet again, it was my tremendous honor and privilege to collaborate with with you, Robert. My Waning Years

My Waning Years

As my waning years return me to reverie
I dream about the days we spent with sylvan trees
As sunset casts its golden glow on canopies
And you and I thought our love would last eternally.

Love had us mesmerized under its magic spell
Our youth's enchanted vision of what life would be
Innocent intentions that let our lives feel free
Enraptured in each others arms as twilight fell.

As we lay amidst colored leaves that autumn day,
Those sweet memories still so vivid in my mind;
Your handsome face, your softest lips that I would find
When pressed against my lips caused me to pray.

Grateful, I thanked the Lord for serendipity.
That we would find each other in a world so great
And feel electric sparks at first glance to be fate
Two souls with similar affinity.

I thought that we would forever have binding ties.
You hid a fearsome temper you could not rein.
With my fear of violence I could not contain,
We sadly parted ways with heartbreakng goodbyes.

As my waning years return me to reverie
I dream about the days we spent with sylvan trees
As sunset casts its golden glow on canopies
And you and I thought our love would last eternally.

Poem Ingredients

Many ingredients bake writing inspiration. This recipe combines a stirring sensation: Heaps of desires never realized as marinated in teary sore eyes; Quantities of wide open spaces caramelized by nature’s appeal; Ageless genuine emotional traces sifted thru heart rendered graces; Equal parts family and romantic love as roasted within, without and above; Measured creamed ideals of peace with blanched pain and battle grease; Diced wishes braised with thrill bearing aromas of tangy heat or chill; Slices of awe from a glorious tree breaded with traits strong and free; I do not forget sour spices of greed dusted with mankind’s violent seed; A mix of fears dredged in anxiety with stress jelled in complexity; and, lastly, faith garnished spirit grown in a soul conscious thicket. If able, I mix love with ingredients above before sampling my recipe once warmed up. If savory, I enjoy serving in poetry cups.

Midnight walk

Vibrant twilight colours drain from transcending skies. Black velvet blankets remain; luminous stars rise. Tread lightly, darkness is here. Such an eerie night, promise me to remain near; be my guiding light. Shadows begin to appear, under the bright moon. Be silent, they may hear can we go home soon? In your arms, one becomes safe, feeling warm in your embrace. Simple glimpse of your face takes me to that magic place. Tranced, you gaze into my eyes. Hunter with his prey in sight; preparing to claim his prize. One is powerless to fight. Lost are all inhibitions as hands are placed on my hips. Forgotten tribulations as you kiss my virgin lips. Daylight brings a halt to this romantic rendezvous. Abrupt end to luscious bliss as reality breaks through. Silent One Originally written 18 March 2016 Re-posted 16 January 2018

Golden days and Diamond nights

Golden days and diamond nights

Another rising sun...
new days begun...new days begun
We're basking in love's rays...
in golden days...in golden days

Bridge 1
Spending the best days of our lives
in golden days and diamond nights

Chorus
These are the days for growing old
our yesterdays were bought and sold
Silver days are turning into gold, and
Sapphire skies... slip into... diamond nights

The years they went so fast...
days of glass...days of glass
The sky was painted grey...
days of clay...days of clay

Bridge 2
The hands of time, have been kind,
but sometimes...
the wind blows cold..the wind blows cold

Chorus
These are the days for growing old
our yesterdays were bought and sold
Silver days are turning into gold, and
Sapphire skies... slip into... diamond nights

Another rising sun...
new days begun...new days begun
We're basking in love's rays...
in golden days...in golden days

Bridge 1
Spending the best days of our lives
in golden days and diamond nights

Chorus
These are the days for growing old
our yesterdays were bought and sold
Silver days are turning into gold, and
Sapphire skies... slip into... diamond nights

repeat chorus fade

Simple words of love

No need for a special day
to adorn you with affection.

For when love had forgotten me,
you arrived during Spring's bloom,
floating like a petal from the heavens.

I can remember Whispers from tepid winds,
led me to willow trees, bowing to your grace.
I still remember crystal clarion blue skies,
an eternal reminder of our first glance,
and the enchantment in your eyes.

But you say:

"The pen needs no metaphors,
just write simple words of love."

The pen flows like simple musing streams;
(oops a metaphor)

So, here goes in the most simplest words.
You are the answers to those questions I could not find.
What my heart yearned for in others, it found in you.
No confusion remained, as suppressed emotions flowed.
Your whole existence was conveyed through my poetry .

How I wish to forever stay in that moment,
the first time our love turned into reality.
Without speaking a word,
my heart felt like we were not strangers.

You're still the one, only you.
The one who knows, the one who understands.
With you stormy seas calm and all that is lost is found.
With you in the world, nothing else matters.
I can't say it simpler..... Than I am Yours.

SHE SAID

She said..
I'm gonna kiss you in slow motion
Maybe take a ride upon your ocean

I'd like to pull you gently into me
The way salt dances in the sea

I'm gonna tease you with my hair
Let you touch me here and there

Teach me things that I don't know
Like rhymed beats, in and out flow

Let your tidal waves rush over me
Your hurricane, umm.. feel and see
This fierce love, my favorite song
Lets sail these waters all night long

Your fingertips gliding over my skin
Makes me want to crash on you again

She said..
Let your tidal waves rush over me
Your hurricane, umm.. feel and see
This fierce love, my favorite song
Lets sail these waters all night long

Let your tidal waves rush over me
Your hurricane, umm.. feel and see
This fierce love, my favorite song
Lets sail these waters all night long
She said..

She said!

My Love Endures

As steadfast as the sea
Pounding its symphony
Making love to the shore
Always reaching for more
My love endures

As stars that grace the sky
Sung in sweet lullaby
Firmament jewelry
Bequeathed to you and me
My love endures

As mountains that remain
Which mysteries contain
That stand the test of time
God’s sentinels sublime
My love endures

As searing as the sun
Placed to rule everyone
Who daily journey makes
With warmth that nature wakes
My love endures

My love endures
Through all changing seasons
Through all unknown reasons
Through all the storms and strife
Through all that threatens life
Through portals of the grave
Through the gates of the saved
MY love ENDURES

Eileen Manassian

PS…this is a romantic love poem, but it is an echo of Psalm 136 which is a testament to the greatest love one can ever experience….the love of the Almighty!

Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever
to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever

A Silent Song

"A Silent Song"

Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Blessed or cursed
Morning shave
Coffee please
Write a verse
Remembers last night’s dream
Grabs a napkin, spills his spleen
Shoves it in his pocket
Walks to work
Sits at his desk
Carries on as usual
Chats on with the new study,
he’s on a roll, softly flirts
Quietly, silently, it always works
Groundhog Day that’s the worst,
Where’s the breaker to dive under it all
Every now and then a Tempest is called for
A heavenly thunderous squall
Just to shake it up
Move through the strung out long day pall
Cover his mirror with her fog and all

All the while
He’s talking it up, little work day dramas
Meetings minute cutlass pen thrust
Business as usual, balls to bust
Still underneath it all he’s thinking the stories frame by frame
She whispers out of nowhere ethereal in his brain,
“The best story is yet to arrive, it’s only the middle of the day…
maybe some gold glitter, a Llama and a Toucan that sashays?”

Empath on his knees by midnight
He’s writing melancholic love songs
The words are tight, verses short
Not long, he’s thinking Turtle Doves and short skirts
That won’t work…
scrawls it out, writing’s gone with the wind,
The best words for the story don’t take too long
He listens to some music, thinks of her and sings a new song.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Dreams flourish dripping words
black on white her familiar screen
pounding faster like raging horses hooves and heart beats
bleed vibrant colors mystic legions of wars and lovers
a foreign sovereignty her mind and wily covers her pageantry
Her eyes the windows of her world
Wings beating flying free
Cages broken, horses hooves racing hearts
She follows him on another shore a dream by sea
Praying prophecies
Empath on her knees

Two very different minds
Free to be

Wonderfully Wet

Lost, deep, among the grasses of the dunes

A summer shower rinsed us, sweet and warm

As, breathing in my ear, your steamy runes

I tasted drops of sea mist from your form

Our late-day passions ended as the storm

Was blushed to silence by the melting sun

The swirling stars, like fireflies in a swarm

Told painted clouds the evening had begun

And by a waking moon ... our lover's dreams were spun.

Romantic charm in 4 lines - Waterfalls flow in your majesty

In your absence the ink thirsts in barren land, in your presence it sings like nightingales. Like waterfalls it flows in your majesty, drifting to a bridge connecting our hearts.

Appear My Queen At The Pier

As the life of the day nears its last breath,
With a glow of crimson, forewarning its death,
Upon its cresting, the reflection, daunting,
The sea sets free a beauty, haunting
The depths of its treasures of unknown span,
The Queen Of Pearls, secluded from man.

This queen, a beauty of figure, a maiden so fair,
With glistening gold locks finer than Pele's hair
And eyes that blend with her homing sea green,
Lips sweeter than honey for a honeycomb's queen,
Once a fortnight, this Queen Of The Sea,
As Mr. Moon swoons, she comes for me.

I wander each eve along the sea's shore,
When near is the time, I long, live for,
Watching intently for the tell tale sign
Of soon again, she will be mine.
Though my patience is tried over many a night,
I know very soon the time will be right.

"Will I see her again; will she come out?"
Puncturing my heart with needles of doubt,
Is fear I'm pained with before each time we meet,
As though and worse than gripped by mesquite.
Then as the tide comes in, over the incoming foam,
For an auspicious clue, my eyes desperately roam.

The sign, the signal, I must not miss
For I can taste so sweet her magical kiss.
My heart couldn't take the grief of such woe,
If I were to become no longer her beau.
The pressure is on, for surrounding me
Is somewhere a message, elusive, a mystery.

Each time the message comes in by way of unique,
For I must earn and prove I'm worthy to seek
This maiden so fair of beauty unsurpassed
And continually I must, if our Love is to last.
Only one common factor am I to ever know;
A pearl will appear, in some way show.

Her signature, a pearl, confirms her request
And one of the finest, only the best.
My Love is not just a queen of the deep sea;
She is the Queen Of Pearls, her royal majesty.
Sometimes I wonder why it is I she chose,
But it's a secret kept, for the sea only knows.

Once a seagull brought and dropped one in the sand,
From the sky above, next to me to on purpose land.
Another time, a sea lion rolled in with the tide
And flipped a pearl to me as he winked with pride.
Yet, another time, I was beckoned out into the sea,
By a whale that spouted a pearl then straight to me.

As my anxiety grows to an unbearable state
And just when I feel I can no longer wait,
With flippers anchored and a look of daring,
In a coat of gold, his mischief, baring,
I knew at once that what I sought
Was now before me with a troubling thought.

For I knew a challenge he had predesigned,
To acquire this pearl would take wit of mind.
Since my heart's condition was at stake,
I had no room for error nor one mistake.
What would be tempting too much for him;
Catch him off guard to forfeit the gem?

Through files of thoughts I ran a quick scan,
Searching to find the one fool proof plan.
Then he made a face at me and straight away
It triggered a thought from a yesterday,
When Andre, the seal, harboured a 'tude,
He stuck out his tongue and blew to be rude.

So, like Andre I leaned in and did the same,
At the seal's face, I took a precise aim.
I stuck out my tongue and blew in his face.
Surprised, he hadn't time to against me, brace.
The temptation too great, he returned the favour
And the pearl became mine only to savour.

Though he was unhappy he had been tricked,
I was elated as my dilemma had been licked.
With all my strength, clenched in my fist
Was my ticket to passion when I was kissed
By my maiden of Love to meet on the pier,
Where soon now I knew she would appear.

As though on wings, my feet did fly
To the pier in waiting where at last, I
Would be joined in Love with my queen,
As soon as she appeared upon the scene.
When I arrived, she was waiting there
To rise out of the sea, my maiden, fair.

As she rose, I pulled her so close to me
And as we locked our lips, she magically
Transformed into a lady, full human form,
Extraordinary and far from norm.
We danced, made Love; laughed and cried,
Baring all of our emotions from inside.

No moment was wasted, no second in time,
In sync we were with both rhythm and rhyme.
But time flies by too quickly it seems,
When you're with the only star of your dreams.
All too soon a new day was being born
And a sun of gold was greeting the morn.

As she stood on the pier elegantly dressed,
All onlookers couldn't have ever guessed
That my lady, my queen, lived in the sea
And transformed back, she soon would be.
As we were saying our sad good-bye,
A flock of witnesses then flew by.

Letting her go each time to return to the deep,
Is harder than the promise to her I made to keep.
Though I'm elated with joy, new memories made,
I must again for a fortnight through longing, wade.
As she slips quietly back into the waiting sea,
My tears like rivers, shower her adoringly.

The returning back to my homing place,
With my tears washing my distraught face,
I clutch the pearl, the precious stone,
And seek only now with myself to be alone.
Since there's nothing better than the best,
I can only look forward to her next request.

I hear a persistent knock upon my door,
As I awaken, for me, someone's looking for.
At first confused, I glanced around,
As again came that knocking sound.
"What a dream of fantasy. Wow!" I thought.
But then a pearl from my dream along I'd brought...

Lullaby Loving You

Another awake,
another empty dawn awaits
Nothing to look forward to
at the end of the day
A lonely walk,
giving myself a coffee pep talk
Then your morning glow
gave my eyes a proper bright hello
Oh, beautiful butterfly
with the sunflower smile
Fluttering by
in rainbow polka dot style
I saw you land
on a park bench in Belle Isle,
sitting alone for a little while
So I made a smooth gardener move,
and gently planted myself next to you
A budding conversation then ensued ...
my goodness, how quickly things grew
Love petals in my heart blossoming anew,
I now understand some rain is necessary too
Though the seasons have changed,
my feelings for you remains the same
Blissful evenings in my life ... sunset skies with a golden hue

Every night,
I have pillow dreams
of lullaby loving you

In the moonlight,
I dream of sunbeams
Me lullaby loving you

Then I awake the next day,
daydream waiting to meet you
all over again

Detroit daydreaming
every night
Pillow sighs
of lullaby loving you

Romantic moonlighting
every single night
Sunbeam thoughts
of me lullaby loving you

Then I awake the next day,
daydream wanting to meet you
for the first time to begin

Dedicated to my beloved friend, Kee
