Two hearts bleached by the sun
        A Poem's - fallen wish
               The Love
            Of A Life Time

Majestic beams fall from heaven meadow
Two hearts stitched by the constellation
Under the moon's glow
   You and I
Gazing up into the Starry Sky

This night we sit under the dazzling diamond dust
Our eyes feel and meet tonight
Stars twinkle a poem of each paired heart
Listen......While......The God's Whisper!

What Is Love?
They asked
A wish so gently by the stars
Greeting young couples' heart
Poor but, in love
Mimicking an old shadow
Light embrace this Auspicious moment

-Aster Flares-
Intrigued by a sad lover's tale
Two souls forever rich-
Sharing eternity through celestial bliss
Gravitating in the world owned by the stars
A most unfortunate turn of events,
Romeo & Juliet
Collapsing stars rising with a hymn
From the moment they fell
Only to reveal how beautiful--
-- the stars in the dark
Ever so wealthy, around Orion's Belt
Reading notes on every rhyme, every heartbeat

Stars fall every eve entering the atmosphere
Seeping through the soul, making love a part of a light
Permanent illusion
Fireflies Flaring up
A passion that lasts longer than a moment

Each zodiac unfolds
The stars tell you, who you are
Gaze upon eternity
Follow the Northern star
Beneath your peaceful splendor
They will bow
Sunset and the evening star,
"My Star Of Love"
Like glitter dust upon a timeless shore
Never will the memory of love be gone
Look up at the stars tonight,
For somewhere out there
I read about YOU in a poem.

Premium Member Pardon From the Storm

Take my heart and carry me
to where all dreams are born.
Into loves arms, oh such a place
that's always safe and warm.
Away from such deceitful lairs
where blackened virtues swarm.
into a light where peace must shine
and grants us pardon from a storm.

High above the mountain tops
or low as low can be.
Makes no difference where we are
a wondrous lyric calls to me.
Singing of your splendor
like a miracle performed.
I'll stay with you to find the port
that grants us pardon from a storm.

She Walks In Silence

She walks in silence, like a lapping wave
drowned in chastity and flooded with rave
holding dear and tight her very beauties
denying all her gems and rubies.
Her powers disabled under the spell
the flame in wouldn’t break out of its shell.

Tempted to trace a humming call of fate
allured but reluctant to take the bait.
The strings of her heart lost their pitch and tone
the clutches of mind hurting to the bone.
Untraceable are the paths to no end
unable to soul unself and ascend.

She walks in silence, like a gliding breeze
fervent rising prayers brought her to her knees
seeking the blessings of grace, peace and love
if only her pain she could rise above.
Nameless beauty would dissolve in her womb
Her wounds.. sins she would carry to her tomb.

Inspired by “She Walks In Beauty” Lord Byron (George Gordon)

Premium Member Winter's Antidote

O Winter, why this desolation? Trees, once verdant now stand bare
Flowers, long in hibernation; clouds that frown with ominous stare,
Bleak winds chill the rain-soaked bones and blow the leaves from yard to yard
Winter is for hardy souls whose skin is thick when life runs hard.

Come quickly, Spring, just weeks away, fulfill your promise: life anew
A ring to give, a vow to make, a oneness where there once were two
A fleeting, tragic, rain-drenched moment. One is gone, just one is left.
Foul Winter, taking one too soon, and leaving one too soon bereft.

Intrepid one - my dear, strong niece - you face the future minus one
Yet Spring is poised to soon return with yet another hope-filled sun
I throw a penny of good wishes in your fountain of love lost
What's this? Another penny there; another, and another tossed...

By end of week a million pennies tossed by those whose love pours out
A million small expressions of compassion for your winter drought
You're not alone, O precious one, you live enveloped by so many
Hope is winter's antidote; and love is spring's eternal penny.

Written the week my niece's 29-year-old fiance died in
an automobile accident, 2 months shy of their wedding day.

Premium Member The Queen Size Bed

“The Queen-Sized Bed”.
			 © London F. Buss

A queen-size bed was coming slowly,
  down the rough dirt track.
  As it drew closer,
The wheels clumsily mounted on the base of each leg,
rattled like a hospital gurney on the stones.
The bed was being pushed slowly,
  ever so, carefully.
By a weary old man in tattered clothes and worn-out shoes.
as he drew closer, and closer,
I saw that he was pushing his dying wife who was,
lying in a dressing gown under the covers,
  in the Queen-Sized Bed.
He pushed carefully trying not to shake the bed,
  excessively.

His wife's head was supported by four pillows,
she had wispy strings of silver white hair.
  She was dying.
Several I.V. Bottles dangled off a hook,
And dripped painkillers into her arm.
She was awake but barely conscious,
I wondered where they were going,
but in my heart, I knew...
  privacy for an hour,
I came back as the sun was setting.
I found them together sitting on the bed,
  Looking over the ocean.
The old man was holding his dying wife,
in his arms… stroking her silver hair under the sparkling,
  southern cross.
They were sharing her last sunset as,
the dying embers of a fiery sun faded into the ocean.

Night fell and I walked home alone,
I had witnessed love real love,
  something I had never experienced,
  something I had never known.
If you’re near Cowell and you look hard enough,
You may just find the queen-size bed,
with a tattered mattress and exposed springs,
quietly rusting away outside a decrepit ruin of a barn.
Take a closer look at the legs and you will find four rusting,
  gurney wheels.
and if you approach quietly on a moonlit night,
you will hear soft sobbing in the whistling wind,
as it dreams of that dying sunset,
  under the southern cross...
and the milky way lights up the sky,
  soaring into the heavens
  as the angels sing.

Premium Member The Beloved's Quilt

Listen
you who seek the secret of existence
your life is a thread in the Beloved's grand design.
Each moment a stitch each breath a color divine.

Do you see
how rain and sun kiss the earth?
Like morning dew they are one in the eyes of the Friend.
Embrace both
for in their unity duality ends.

You are the pulse of a seed sprouting through the stone.
In your veins flows the ancient wisdom of the soil.
In love's alchemy the seeker becomes the sought.

Feel how the wind of spirit shapes you
now bending like a reed now standing as a cypress.
In surrender find the strength that never wavers.

The heart's fire burns away all that is not love.
Desire, like wild winds, seeks its way to the sacred fire
in consuming they become the light they seek.

Each thread of your being sings the Beloved's name.
Listen closely can you hear the melody of oneness?
In that song
you'll find your true existence.

The fabric of your days shimmers with divine light:
Golden Joy. Silver Sorrow... all are His gifts.
In accepting all
you become... His perfect reflection.

O lover do not ask why some paths are sharp as thorns
and others soft as the dawn's first breath.
The Master Weaver's wisdom surpasses all understanding.

Let yourself dissolve in love's infinite sea.
You are both the wave and the ocean's depths.
In annihilation, find your eternal completion...

Beloved you are the quilt and the quilter
the song and the singer,
the dance and the dancer.
In this realization all separation ceases.

Now step into the garden of the heart—
where every seed sprouts with the faces of our Friends.
Here in agape love's transcendence
you will find your journey's end.

Premium Member Soulmate Love

Finding love is our unsure heart’s goal as edged on by our confident souls.

Some journey through life with love as their primary dream, only to give up after giving all to failures’ torturous theme. They may wish their constant dream to unfold, but cannot befriend the lonely, dark hole that mocks the intentions of their soul. For many, ‘tis when heart hopes completely dim that fate itself delivers the right her or him.

When true love is meant to be, it shall appear and reward every lonely, unfulfilled tear.

When true love wraps you in its infinite folds,
there is nowhere else you will need or wish to go.

When you truly love someone, you hold their dreams inside your prayers and lay steppingstones to assist them there.

Grateful for the long-awaited task, you let love toss every mask you ever faked for romance’s sake. Each past pretense may now relax, disappear and never come back, for true love loves your truth and would never wish to see you subdued. Real love wraps around the you that your life really grew.

Love grants the finest gift, a present of loving arms embracing all of you,
not despite, but because their heart knows all of you. Freely and without hesitation, you give your body, heart, spirit, secrets and possessions, confident none will ever be used as emotional weapons.

No matter any day’s design, love soothes all away when at night you lay entwined. True love is two who mutually fulfill emotional needs, heeds
fears to see them eased and nurses hurts that may otherwise bleed.

Even in silence, love’s communication and awareness are at its finest.
When alone, at home, such love is happily content for together time
never ceases being time joyously spent.

When one is weak, one stays strong, for two in love alter leaning and
being leaned on.

Each the other seeks to please for your love’s smile gives back pleasurable degrees. When in love, such smiles become your heart’s feed.

After time spent apart, love seeks and finds its prize in the other’s loving eyes.

When love is of truth’s seed,
two breaths become a single heartbeat,
pulsing as one, dual, soul-deep feed.

A Warrior For Love

I'm a Warrior

Don't bleed of fear

Armed and ready for battle

Anytime Anywhere

Don't look for trouble

But if trouble be

Skies of lightning and thunder

Strike my enemies

Am a Warrior

No one's too Big

To be cut down and defeated

By Grace of GOD they will

I'm the Warrior

Its win, Win or Die

Stand up for LOVE be not afraid...

Raise Swords up high

To right the wrongs of love no flawless gauge exists
Though visions unfulfilled can leave one bereft
With tears of remorse for the ones who didn’t show
Or lamenting the ones who came and left

Sparkly wings donned we cruise the starry skies
Crooning songs of love to the silvery moon
Mourning its presence being ~ Too late? ~ Too soon?
Grieving for the ‘dish’ who ran away with the ‘spoon’

Rewrite your song ~ Compose a new melody
Peek through those shades of pearlescent pink
Discard the restraints of unrequited love
Bask in loves splendor ~ lest it goes in a blink

Feel a whisper of the breeze ~ on those thundering seas
The quest starts right here on this night crystal clear
That rusty anchor raise ~ you’ve lingered too long
It’s your ship to control ~ Reclaim the power to steer

I trust you like the music video clip by Australian singer John Paul Young. Still loving the sound of the Disco 80’s

Premium Member Sojourn Through Time

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness in
Opulent hues that color our lives as we age and
Journey through changing circumstances with
Obstacles that crop up unforseen, and so
Unexpectedly that we are caught off guard
Relying on instinct to help us cope,
Never suspecting that these changes are lessons

To help us grow, spiritually, emotionally and intellectually.
How we respond to these life changes shapes our
Reality in the divergent paths we assume
On our journey toward reaching our goals as
Understanding ourselves is the key to happiness.
God's purpose for us, rather realized or not, is to
Help us grow through experiences as we are

Tethered to the Divine by an invisible cord,
Immaculate and pure within His sight we are free to
Make our own decisions inspired by love which will
Elevate our spirits or hate our demise, it is our choice.

Premium Member Spiritual Law

Spiritual law of attraction: one can only receive by giving. One has to become love, if to know love for reception. What we hold in our consciousness is who we are and what we attract. Walls are all we think we know...better to live from a clean slate. Letting go opens our hands (hearts) for spiritual grasping. We are born dying obviously. It is not for death but our only way to life. It is illusion, the doorway not empty, not a space to pass through, but, in fact, a dimension of less encumbered being~ one dies to live dies to live...there is never lives to die. No darkness in creation...if anything, there is only self keeping out the light.

No Greater Love

For God so loved this sinful world, He gave us all His son;
That we might live with Him one day, when life on Earth is done.
No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed,
And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed.

The time was short for Jesus Christ, but what He gave mankind
To lift our hearts and save our souls has yet to be refined.
The grace and style in which He moved through politics and fools,
Has paved the way for paths we trod through worldly ways and rules.

His teachings spread throughout the land, His miracles renowned,
He only had to touch a life to show His love was sound.
Two thousand years have come and gone since Christ communed with man;
And with his dying saved us all, to serve God's ancient plan.

He rose from death, as He had said, and proved His word was true,
That life eternal waited those who choose to suffer through.
Salvation came that fateful day, the Bible tells us so;
And time has shown that through God’s love the weakest spirits grow.

Now, modern times are hard on us and cause us all to doubt,
For change is there at every turn, and Satan’s always out.
It’s now we need the love of God, for always, as before;
Just lift your heart and ask for it, and see what lays in store.

It’s through God’s love we handle change and how it makes us strong
In ways we deal with worldly things and sort the right from wrong.
For change is just another way the Lord sees fit to use
To make our days seem fresh and new with paths to take and choose.

It’s by our faith we live our lives and seek a brighter day,
And how we find the confidence when doubts get in the way.
But most of all it’s happiness that faith’s been known to give
When our misfortunes come to cloud these modern times we live.

We need not fear what God has wrought. We need not know His plan.
We only need to know He’s there, and love’s in store for man.
Just think the words you’d ask in prayer, and ere a sound be heard,
His perfect love will fill your heart before you’ve breathed a word.

No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed,
And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed.
But God forgave our debt to Him, we live in grace today;
The greatest love you’ve ever known is just a breath away.

Premium Member Our Colour of Yellow

The lake was still sleeping
a light mist rose above,
a weathered dock could be seen,
its aged wood; full of memories.

The air crisp, breeze light,
trees majestic; watching all.
Squirrels busy scampering,
as a flock of geese soared above.

Way over yonder
clear across the still lake,
shining brightly were yellow shutters,
on our cabin; our special place.

We had toiled the garden
planted yellow roses with great care,
we had painted the old wood shutters,
yellow paint; speckled our hair.

The roof we re-shingled,
one painstaking nail at a time,
we even counted the ouches;
when our hammers got out of line.

With nothing but smiles
on our weary, aching bodies,
we held hands, and went running,
into the still of the lake; giggling.

We swam out to the dock,
it was a race; he won,
my hand he took laughing;
as he quickly scooped me up.

Our toes dangled playfully
sending ripples in the lake,
as we gazed at our cabin;
yellow shutters; fresh with paint.

The trees swayed slightly
as if nodding with approval,
for our cabin by the lake,
was our private sacred jewel.

As we cuddled together
warmth filled our souls,
for our bright yellow shutters,
symbolized, our love's blossoming growth.

It was on this very dock,
air crisp, breeze light,
when he gave me a yellow rose;
and asked me to be his wife.

Spread globally strong from love’s roots.

All prayers seek universal peace,
Love-filled hearts breathing ease and
Living life as freedom guarantees.

Corrupt power holders need be
Outnumbered by justice seekers,
United in faith to crumble cruel
Leaders and their false rule, to then
Determine all lives harmony soothed.

Blessings of equality could be as they should be,
