Milk and Honey Comp

My lips may move and the words I speak .
Are just reflections of the people I meet.
Some times I'm strong, some times I'm meek.
But I advise you listen,I don't use double speak
My inner voice cry's out ,never trust a sneak

Milk and Honey

The land of milk and honey
now only in your dreams
Was stolen by the masses
who think it's free, it seems
They say it's just a "band-aid"
till "we get on our feet"
But first we must, meet their demands
or they protest in the street

The protests turn to riots
the looting now begins
Destroying all that milk and honey
getting back at us for "sins
We should have listened to their cries
how could we, turn away
They only want what they deserve
and now we'll have to pay

Illegals come to help them
their bread and butter card
Immigrants are joining in
we made their life so hard
The bridge cards that we gave them
they call them plastic gold
The government won't rescind them
they'd rather they be sold

You walk away still wondering
how they're used for smokes and beer
And other things that are taboo
unchanged year after year
Excuse replaced integrity
with the never ending lies
It can not stop, there is no end
The storm that never dies.....

The Land of Milk and Honey

Within the year crusades began,
led by the noblest of the land.
Hugh Vermandois was first to arrive,
with an huge army at his command.

Godfrey and Baldwin arrived next,
as well as Robert of Normandy.
Bound by their God and Holy Pope,
to save World's Christianity.

Across Turkey the armies marched,
to Nicaea, where Peter had died.
Then onto Antioch they swarmed,
where bible and sword would collide.

From Antioch on to Jerusalem,
where little resistance was met.
The crusaders marched without fear,
or any imminent threat.

At the gates of Jerusalem,
the tale would too soon turn.
As the crusaders camped outside,
of a call to arms they'd learn.

What up until that moment in time,
was accomplished without much deed.
To take Jerusalem it now seemed,
would take much bloodshed to succeed.

So the Crusaders surrounded the city,
reinforced with supplies that arrived..
Soon the walls would slowly crumble,
leaving only crusaders left alive..

They slaughtered Jews in the synagogue,
and all Muslims in the Dome.
Through the streets of Jerusalem,
the crusaders in victory did roam.

Upon the steps of the Holy Seplechre,
the Christian's gave their praise.
For there was no on left alive,
no objection could they raise.

Soon the Christians assumed the throne,
with Godfrey being named its King.
Many years of successive line,
to the Holy Land they'd bring.

Over time there would be uprisings,
many battles would be fought.
But the Christians maintained control,
no matter how much death it brought.

The line passed through the years,
eventually to Amury it did go.
But before long, his thirteen year old son
was the king they'd come to know.

For Amury was convinced,
that Egypt should follow suit.
To Christianity and away,
from uncivilized Muslim root.

But the Holy land had a new leader
and Saladin had other plans
He took Jerusalem back again,
and in triumph regained the lands.

This would not be the end,
for the war had just begun.
The battle for the Holy Lands
would see more blood freely run.

love is like a rose
so beautiful when it blooms
it comes in different colors
some even paint it blue

love is like a rose
be wary of the thorns
love can prick the heart
make you rue when you
were born

gonna' tell you baby
love baby
is like a rose

Land of Milk and Honey

We’re off to the land of milk and honey
Where the Bee’s buzz around
And the cows are funny
And you can come along there too
There’s enough land for me and you

Where the grass is green
And the rivers run clean
Come on taste the fruit of all your dreams
Sunshine here for the crew
And it’s everything we dreamed of too

It’s a wonderful land with golden sand
Coconuts hanging
Where palm tree’s stand
In a breeze from the sea so blue
A land that buzzing like a zoo

So pack up your bags
come along with me
Will be hopping around
This wild country
Like all the baby bunnies
With floppy ears
Come have a laugh
With the cows and deer’s
And we can all go moo, moo
Cause there’s nothing I’d rather do

There’s acres of fun for everyone
With flowers blooming
Under the sun
Blossoming tree’s that will make you sneeze
And the cows are grazing in the breeze

So pack up your bags
come along with me
Will be hopping around
This wild country
Like all the baby bunnies
With floppy ears
Come have a laugh
With the cows and deer’s
And we can all go moo, moo
Cause there’s nothing I’d rather do

We’re off to the land of milk and honey
Where the Bee’s buzz around
And the cows are funny
And you can come along there too
There’s enough land for me and you

Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey

Heard that they had a big rehearsal
Graduated from Trump School Universal
We had handed him all of our money
He then collected it like milk and honey
Now we can't do anything that is useful.

How sad.

Take me to that land
That land flowing
“with milk and honey”
That rich fertile land
Where everything flourishes
Where everything is sweet
Good to eat
Where nothing decays
Where goodness remains
Preserved
Through all the age

Take me to your land
For you flow with honey
“the nectar of the sun”
Your taste lingers on my lips
My mouth burns with your sweetness
I find healing as I take you in
And am nourished
Satisfied
Unworried
For I know
Honey never spoils
It remains
It’s essence unchangeable
Sweet
It will keep
Forever

Like ancients of old
I spread honey on my wounds
To remove life’s sting
Honey to help me sleep
When nightmares creep
And steal away my joy
Honey….
Pure, sweet....honey

A land of “milk and honey”
An abundance of milk
To satiate
No dryness but streams
Found on demand
An ever ready fountain
Flowing…..
Making life grow in me

Take me to that land
Where all is nourishing and sweet
That land where you are
My soul, my life,
Feed me these delicate treats
For I am famished
Longing to eat….

Land of Milk and Honey

Land of Milk & Honey.
The president has banned the verb “work,” there are no job seekers
or unemployed people, but those who administrate the state are on
duty. Since all is mechanized, digitalized and robotozied there is little
need for citizens to do anything, but receive a monthly card to spend
on food, clothes and other things, and they will be well enumerated.
At last the masses have been set free from the toil of labour.
They can sleep as long as they want, walk in the park or pursue sport,
meet in the evening and read poetry, with the understanding “work”
is not mentioned, ‘cause the state know some poets are insubordinate
and will try to sneak in “work” by calling it something else. If the state
censor find out the writer will be banned from all public gatherings and
not being able to buy yogurt till he repents and writes nice things about
the beautiful colour of plastic flowers, made by a robot called Rose.
It has taken mankind thousands of years to reach this stage of maturity,
and they will look up to the clear blue sky and say: “Truly this is Utopia.”

Land of Milk and Honey'

Oh' The luxury to have plenty of money,
To be able to buy things, and live in the land of milk and honey.
Sometimes as Christians we feel that way, we sometimes get selfish.
I think as humans we should be careful for what we wish.

So a fleeting thought can cause us to burn,
In faith searching for our Spiritual Father we are allowed to learn.
At the end of our human lives we realize we can't take gold, rubies to eternity.
What Good is fortune? If not used right, and die horribly Spiritually?

The blessings of our Lord and Father, whatever is given to you and me.
Should be sufficient. He has given us His love and wisdom, don't you see?
The love of the gifts, the ones He's deemed for all of our families,
Is worth more than gold, or any treasures, He has blessed us all Spiritually.

His blessings, giving us the knowledge of love, wisdom, to make us better seeds.
Helping others, sharing truths, making Him known is our mission don't you see'
The Holy Spirit's breath, given to us from our Father, we should always treasure.
Making our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit known in this devils world, is truly a
pleasure.

The Holy Bible says, "Seek, you'll find." "Look and you'll see."
No matter what' Our Fathers truth is right in front of us, for you and me.
We are children of a mighty God, that's simple, never to be sad or blue.
It's amazing giving to us freely, a message from the Father, for all , for me , and for
you.

A Nation Flowing With Milk and Honey

From the very beginning when the
foundations of the Lord's house was
laid, Jesus walked among us and this
was the prayer he prayed, Father
forgive them for they know not what
they do, I am here to show them now
the way, the light, the truth, the Lord
has always done great things, the
greatest was his flesh made holy,
salvation to you and I he imparts to
you and you soulfully. The Lord says
"I will shake the Heavens and the earth,
my house shall be filled with my glory",
the Lord has chosen this humble child
to pen this all time story. I have been
with you since Egypt's exile I will be with
you thru every trial and tribulation,
stand back all ye children of God, the
Lord is about to give birth to his nation.

Land of Milk and Honey

I've always had satin coated dreams. I always believed blindly in love,
romanticism and such and never wondered what it means.
I wanted romeo to win juliet and applauded his valor in the end. I wanted snow
white to be discovered by her prince and wondered why the witch was so mean.
I loved the of repunzel letting down her golden hair. In an effort to lead her
prince to the love that awaited him there!
So my dreams of love had very little to do with time or place. It was more looks
and space.
It was a dream born when I was a very young girl. So being idealistic is not a bad
trait to have in todays world.
So you don't have to be gorgeous and you don't even need money. All I require
for you to bask in my glow is love and you can share my land of milk and honey.

It’s the land of milk and honey,
you fail to see beneath stars and stripes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

The lifestyle seems to come so easy,
lost within stories and stereotypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey;

Just getting by is a catastrophe,
inflation and basic survival snipes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

Left coast dreams east coast tyranny,
always seem to be surrounded by hypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey;

Pushing limits is what it was meant to be,
competition gives birth to prototypes;
Hard work holds prosperous and free;

Stay grounded and look carefully,
flooded with media and fancy teletypes;
It’s the land of milk and honey,
hard work holds prosperous and free.

Land of Milk and Honey

In the Land of milk and honey
where everything wears lights.
The people are perfect and shine like stars.
That is, of course why they are called such.
In the glamour you are entwined,
encircled and enam
You smile, and Times Square fades into darkness.
You cry and Lady Liberty wipes your tears.
I could never compete
I am not a flawless beauty, nor am I an aristocrat,
so I would never be your hearts desire.
But I will sit in the audience of average people
looking on at you shining on stage
teasing me with your utopian song,
knowing that I will never be the one your longing for.
I know I'm destined to spend my life watching,
wishing and wanting you.
Beautiful, immaculate you.
Loved by imperfect, inadequate, inferior me.

Land of Milk and Honey

sugar is sweet as sweet as honey
now that I'm broke & got no money
the moral of this story is to stay positive young G
living in the land on milk & honey

time has elapsed & it has for no reason
some say there's a change in the way of the season
lift your head high up in the sky be brave today
living in the land of the free & the home of the brave

you got to come up with a good rap in time
down on your luck to your last thin dime
the word on the street is you got to stay positive
love your neighbor and choose to give

someday your pay day will come
like a lost soul being out on the run
hear the bullets blast outside in the hood
 homeboys out for no good

what we do today will be echoed in eternity
keep your head on straight and head for the main gate
the rich will always blame the poor
still nobody has a voice anymore

Choose to be the best young G you can be
living in the land of milk & honey
one day when your full grown you will see
the moral of the story is love making sweet history
