Grief, regret	Time is a Machete Facing the light I feel a pull From the dark I’ll keep on until the shaking stops It’s all about the conquest I feed on hearts that are Wounded by self-inflicted Accidents A result of the machete swinging blindly Aiming for the root of the stalk And missing the mark

writers block	People watch - create scenarios in your mind of what they are thinking/feeling/doing there. Relate that back to yourself! Interesting results

help with editing	Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for someone to ready my 22 page poetry manuscript. I'm entering a chap book contest. My work has a theme, and I'd like someone to read it and tell me if it flows, etc. Any suggestions?

THINK OF IT THIS WAY	I agree with you George - just expressing myself on paper is amazing, healing, and very enjoyable. Sometimes it's so personal that I'm not sure anyone else would even know what I'm talking about. I would like some help with editing though. I am entering a chapbook contest and I have written 22 pages of a specific theme. Anyone know how to get help with editing? I've asked my friends but they all just say "oh, that's nice". Only another poet is going to be able to help!
