Naive faith

Based on culture we believe,
form of God as scriptures weave,
affirmed by pastors who preach,
though truth remains out of reach.

Our faith helps us to go on,
when at night we wait for dawn
but it’s but a crutch we use,
to stand strong facing abuse.

When tested, faith is shaken,
for unless we awaken,
facing fear we’ll crouch in fright,
since we have

I am the world

when our body-mind dissolves
ego recedes, soul evolves
with soul an offshoot of God
Who is known when heart has thawed

entering thought cessation
dropping body sensation
we as consciousness expand 
obeying our heart’s demand

whilst humming a soundless verse
we swallow the universe
as the breath of God Himself
and then behold light of Self

our true Self stands outside time
and space, mirroring God’s chime
feeling

Why are we here

in a single word: desire
objects for which we aspire
this is the cause of rebirth
that’s why we are here on earth

now, we are not body-mind
we are spirit misaligned 
with the truth impulse of God
known when we give love our nod

shifting into the vast void
we’re not then by thoughts decoyed
whence breaking down every wall
one with God, we

Thought of the day

peep in heart for a sneak peek 
in lake of love dip soul’s beak
enlivened thus, then return
as God’s light in body urn

Tat Tvam Asi - That Thou Art

when identity recedes
heart lotus blooms and love leads 
bliss pheromones then mingle
making our soul’s eye single

in time we become the flame
whence we’re no longer the same
and in time the ego dies 
paving way for truth’s sunrise

the world fades, we alone are
shining like yonder North Star,
formless presence, living light
lustre pure and bright snow white 

Self vibrates

Power of knowledge

Animals may live in bliss,
yet as such it is remiss
on our part not to explore,
the way to God through heart’s door.

Since mind has limitation,
peace as our meditation,
positions us in the void,
where we’re not by thoughts decoyed.

In time stretched calm, ego’s shorn,
whereupon we’re reborn,
feeling bliss ignition start,
deep in the cave of our heart.

As we come into

Evergreen

jade firs stood on grass-grown scene 
her slope swathed in verdant sheen
white frost came, a friend so dear
the woods remain, ever green

Beholding the Self

How may the seer be seen,
in a mirror without sheen ~
thoughts we birth being the veil,
the brew we drink, though it’s stale?

Thoughts operate in space-time,
desire, the ladder we climb,
which we need to vaporise,
if Self we would realise.

The thought of God is not God.
Love dawns only when we nod,
not thinking but becoming,
flame of bliss in heart

World vision

check the way we look
seems we were mistook
notice vast space wink
when with it we link

the way we begin
from space looking in
feeling not thinking
focus unblinking 

as we so evolve
space and time dissolve
pheromones mingle
our eye is single

within each atom
God’s the substratum
known when we are still
whence voids within fill

ego illusion
causes delusion
our meditation 
is thought cessation

nodes within align
let light

Zen mode

employing mind of the heart
this refinement a learnt art
making void-centric our view
feel within bliss beats renew

Zen mode

we feel bliss mists rise
flow that never dies
as heart, crown and spine
in rapture entwine

above head we risk
feeling God’s love disc
as the source of light
birthing bliss delight

void centric presence
as omnipresence
is as it is thus
aboard God’s bliss bus

there is no seeker 
we become meeker
as we so reclaim
light of our soul’s flame

Zen mode

God’s touch surprises
as rapture rises
desire tempests tamed
soul’s light is reclaimed

Zen mode

God’s hand is placed on our head,
that we be by His touch led 
and so it is, breath by breath,
imbibing love’s healing meth.

Thought of the day

feeling in each form
the heart of God warm
jigsaw puzzle’s solved 
all from Him evolved

Flicker-free flame

prioritise what we seek
plug every energy leak
negate senses, look within
make heart pure and free from sin

focus fixed on God alone
resolve firm, consciousness hone
then in childlike trust just rest
ascending in playful jest
