The pumpkins eyes
are rarely seen
without your visions
Where edges cut
around the eyes
are slots for murder
man grows wise
When all who rate
a pumpkin's smile
will offer fate
a place defiled
For every man
has cuts his own
when going through life
a hallo'd...Read More
I do not understand the fuss
Over wearing a simple mask,
Such a reasonable thing to ask
A safety benefit for all of us.

allegory, allusion, analogy, angst,
I hate him
He angers me
I wish he'd die as quick
are just as real as wit
I know him
Someone else I'd quip
someone else I'd flip
see him as I rip
adventure, angel, atheist, beach,
So quietly considerate,
As I watch you read,
Inhale smoke from a cigarette,
Watching it recede.
Stagnant while you breathe,
Adjacent to me.
Impossibles the alternate,
Nothing could be this intimate,
As shared gravity.
Every action is...Read More

The birds migrate to southern lands,
conflict, happiness, humanity,
If I could turn back time I think I'd change a thing or two.
I have some mem'ries that are fond, but other things I rue.
I enjoyed my time alone as through the wood I scampered,

analogy, character, dedication, identity,
You'll put up a statue
and say I'm a poet
When all of you worship
what I'll never know it
And go on to rhyming
what's left in the moment
When statues are showing
the glow of the loment
And I'll be impressed
growth, lonely, longing, love,
As I philosophize in this ferocious rain
In search of a gentle note on this quatrain
Inside I see a strong, impermeable porcelain
And you trying to break it, not in vain...Read More

Believing as so many do,
There's lots of...Read More
