The silence that we hear Is the worst curse of them all It’s forgiveness never given It’s a warning not to fall If you knew not to wait Would you say goodbye Would you say “I love you” Or “I’m sorry that I lied” That silence that you hear Ringing in your ear Is a word left unspoken That still rings loud and clear

This was a good piece. It made me think of times when I left things unsaid to someone I loved, and how I regretted it. You're right silence can be deafening. Keep up the great work.
