Im frustrated, so I goworkout,
usually some music,cardio, and pushups get it out,
That silent voice upstairsoverpowers the mp3,
This whole job and moneysituation really bothers me,
Checked my email,
American Express loweredmy limit,
A result of Thursday.
Stock market took a hugepivot,
I know all good and badtimes pass,
Predicting the next fewyears will be a rough patch
Over and over I hear oneperson never really matters,
A bluff to justify debtearned on a degree to climb corporate ladders,
CEOS learned to hypnotizetheir populations,
to follow like cattle andobey to their regulations,
They promote EqualOpportunity Workplace and Open Door Policy,
If you dare be differentor question you're laid off, such hypocracy,
Businesses have librariesof secrets conveying ambush, betrayal, and theft,
Not an ounce of integrityor dignity, not a thread of honesty left,
The Elite, AKA top twopercent, would fail every employment personality test,
But those new hires areexpected to work long hours at their best,
Laid off, get same joblater, economy is excuse to pay less,
Your lack of income makesthat CEO feel he's got more muscle on his chest.
Plenty bought arms wantingthe American Dream,
Banks made their bucks andmade a mess of everything,
National rating goes down,credit limits suffer, they're left untouched
They still have customers,we're making an ass of us,
Time to stop thependulum...
Dissect this for just asecond,
It shocks me the publichasn't learned it's lesson.
We own them entirely andwe give them our money freely,
They wouldn't exist if weacted on our values properly,
These fortunes act likepre-madonnas,
acting untouchable theybackhand us,
over and over, and wecontinue to flock,
We must not have thebrightest kids on the block.
Anyone think to start fromscratch,
Develop a new formulabegin a new batch,
The importance of love,life, owning yourself,
Recovering values andhumanity, all you'd need is help,
remember that millionsfeel just the way you do,
Power in numbers couldperform corporate voodoo,
There's so much more tothis than whats in this song,
One by one stop being lazyand fix whats wrong.
Next time you buy milk,clothes, or some produce,
Better be “Made inAmerica” otherwise our profits reduce.
Wrong mentality what youdont see doesn't effect you,,
results will be engravedin your life like a tatoo.
