Deep Are My Feelings Of Gratitude, Respect And Love

Many a time, I have been expressing my most sincere admiration and acknowledgement for every single beauty added to my soul.. for every pulse of Love throbbing into my heart.. for every spark of Light enlightening my path.. We are made to feel that we are the ones who ever choose to embark on journeys.. walk paths.. answer calls.. open wide gates.. then, what about the hidden powers that lead us, outside our control, to places.. people.. and course of events!

One day, two years ago, I was surfing the net via my mobile phone randomly looking for poetry sites as my thirst for fine poetry other sites could not satisfy.. I can remember now, how I have chosen PoetrySoup without having the slightest idea about its splendor.. I have felt, from day one, that the Hand of God has guided me to this particular path to rejoice, learn and grow..

I have been writing poetry since my teens.. baring my very heart to words.. deriving a great pleasure from reading and writing.. but never had I devoted enough time and effort to poetry as I was always absorbed by my mundane life and my vocation as a teacher..

On PS, I found myself under the magic of an enriching, enlightening, inspiring and beautiful poetry with an aura of sensitivity, empathy and kindness of beautiful souls, dear fellow poets and friends with whom I have the honour and the immense delight to share an elevating passion..

Of the sweetest moments in time, are those when my humble work is granted the honour of POTD.. I see it as an act of respect, care and Love.. and it has tremendously and deeply affected both my poetry and soul.. Offering sincere support and nurturing a natural artistic talent, I think, is the best of awards that can be accorded to an artist..

What is more satisfying than a path that expands a vision.. brings inspiration.. keeps a heart and a mind wide open and stirs the soul to look up to higher levels of Beauty!

What is more surprising and thrilling than being granted a PoetrySoup Premium membership!

I run out of words but huge and deep are my feelings of gratitude, respect and Love to the beautiful souls who have chosen to give, share and care..

I am honoured, happy and blessed to be among YOU, dear fellow poets and friends.

what a beautiful uplifting blog Besma.
