I Have Only My Prayers

I have only my Love
fuel of my heart
a remedy for my mind
winging towards a full Life
taming dormant dreams into verity.

I have only my Faith
nourishing my spirit
a wealth of convictions, a merit
an unseen growing strength
a sweet contentment in despair.

I have only my prayers
an utter submission
a body into oblivion
a soul melting
errant but ascending.

I have only my words
to rhyme with the tone of my heart
and seek a healing
as my soul shakes souls
via verses that do not rhyme.

How strong is your Faith and how intent you are in your prayer. I too believe that prayer strengthens not only our soul but our entire corporeal body supplying positive energy and recharging our neurons. One who loves God in the true spirit cannot but love fellow beings. I feel that you are a person so full of the milk of human kindness. Your enlightening words and poems can fuel hearts with new zest and brighter light ! Stay always blessed, sweet friend!

I believe that in life we, human beings should strive to be worth of the name human.. a strong Faith builds a beautiful human soul inside, fills the soul with empathy, widens the chambers of the heart for Love and beauty.. Our prayers are a praise to God for all the blessings.. for His grace and mercy..A treat to read your so wonderful and enlightening response, Valsa.. Your kind and caring words mean a lot to me.. Thank you so much dear friend and sweet poetess for being on my path of Life and Poetry.. deeply grateful and blessed.. My deepest regards and blessings. Love and hugs.

Only "love,' "faith," "prayers," and "words," are TREASURE CHESTS. I agree with V. Raven, dear Besma. You write English as if you learned it as a child; congratulations. Though your name suggests your native language is Arabic (as is my wife, Hind's). Mabrook wa Salaam. Anil DEO

My mother tongue is Arabic.. my second language is French.. my foreign language is English of which I am so fond! But I do believe in the language of the soul.. the mind.. the heart.. and lucky are those who do know how to decrypt its codes.. to touch a heart.. to read a mind.. to feel a soul.. is a blessing, a gift from God to beautiful souls.. thank you so much, Anil, for your great feedback and praise! So pleased and humbled! My deepest regards and blessings. Salem!

There exist a flowering hurt in your precious heart Poetess, and as this confession kisses the pulse in your quiet eyes, visions of love bleeding, dripping honestly onto the heated honesty of your striving soul you will realize that pain is the path to your bolder, even more beautiful poetry...J.A.B.

Prayer is powerful. God hears those that are His. What a wonderful feeling indeed. Your thoughts caress gently around me and my heart. There is so much going on around us, with this virus. God will take care of us. Many wonderful blessings to you my dear sweet friend. Hugs, Brandy

Love, faith, and prayers make life complete for many--but some need the power of words as well to heal the soul. Your words resonate in your deep thoughts, Besma.
