Would You Still Love Me 2018

If I told the winds
How much you love me
And quickly spread the news
Blushing your horizon,
Revealing our secret
To whole wide world
Before you could brief
Your own aspirations,
Would you still love me?

If I convinced the stars
To follow you around
As you spoke to the moon
Lovingly about us;
And if they told me
Your inner most thoughts
Before you got a chance
To consult your heart,
Would you still love me?

If my night sent you
A sensuous message
Arousing your dawn
With romantic feelings
Awakening you in
An enchanting dream
Before you were ready
To feel this way,
Would you still love me?

If I swept you off your feet
With pledges of my love
And carried you with me
To cherubic heaven
For a blessed evening
In the Garden of Eden;
And then if I forgot
The way back home,
Would you still love me?

Nice to see you had an older poem which went with the theme... your poem is full of romantic yearnings... Thanks for writing and congratulations on your placement.

Something went wrong, SO. I wrote a new poem dated 9/2. Didn't realize the old one had the same title (except that new poem has a question mark at the end of the title). If you have time read the new poem please. Many thanks my friend, for sponsoring contests.

I get the feeling that this lovely poem would work well when set to music. Have you considered that? It has a certain flow about it that seems to bleed its own musical notes. Well done.

It will take an artist like you my friend to work your magic to set this to music. Don't know anything about how to do that. I appreciate your kind thoughts. Many thanks as always. What does M stand for? Wish I knew so I could refer to you by your first name.

Lovely expressions of love wonder-ment, touching and well expressed in such unique fashion; these are no ordinary, average wonderments, but individualized ones so deeply heart primed. I enjoyed this very much - read it twice. All the best, all the days ... CayCay

The wind would carry your poem to the highest of levels where it belongs.. the stars and the moon would lovingly get eclipsed by your work of art.. the night would open his eyes and keep dreaming of a beauty of heart in the "Garden of Eden"! and here I am, overjoyed to read a gem of your creation and honoured to adorn my fave list with it.. dear Vijay, your poetry keeps ascending the ladders of beauty exquisitely! Great poem! A win! My deepest regards.
