Scary to Larry

There once was a farmer named Larry
With a hundred cows at his dairy
Larry did his best
Hired help for the rest
Milking that many cows was scary

This is a delightful limerick to read today my dear friend Bill. I never had experienced milking a cow so I want to try one someday but to have that large number, it's absolutely scary. Thanks for the smiles and sharing this precious limerick. God bless you always. I apologize for the late visit my dear poet friend. Thanks belatedly also for faving my Why I became a poet poem. Blessings. Hugs

Good one, Bill. I imagine dairy farmers thank God every day for electric or gas operated milking machines. LOL..They still have to put those on the cows and take them off but at least the worse or hardest part is made easy. Thanks for sharing the humor. Sara K

I absolutely love your limericks. Larry needs a time machine to take him from the 1940's to the present, heck maybe the 90's would have served him easier with his job.

Your Limerick was udderly humorous, Bill.

Dear Bill, your limerick had me grinning from ear to ear! The playful rhymes and vivid imagery of a dairyman overwhelmed by his bovine brood is pure comedic gold. Your clever wordplay and knack for capturing humor in simple scenes is so entertaining. Well done on this delightfully witty piece! - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

A very funny limerick that made me laugh. It's a good one.

Oh poor Larry. Such an overburdened dairy farmer. Methinks in today's world, that many cows would be of concern to the climate activists...you know with all that gas :-) just kidding. A fun Limerick, hubby! hugs, Sara
