Insufficient Love Can Be

When love fills your breath and the air the feel is strong and you can dare Love, you tend to glamorise and in words you aphorise Dreams of princesses and knights all is great as you reach heights. That love is more than enough tough times you would rise above. Think about love on the ground not dreamy ! rather earthbound What if you fall and be mad to your soul nothing you add The shackles of codes and rules when unbound, treated as fools What if in love you lose sight with a heart of consumed light Who you think the one on earth may reject the soul Self worth. That love is just not enough rough times you won’t rise above. Get ready to set the Self free insufficient love can be. Inspired by "Sometimes love is not enough" Silent One contest.

Love can be spellbounding but we must never forget to touch ground every so often. Too much thought and its not love, too much triviality, and love goes puuuuuf like a balloon been let down slowly - respect, communication and of course heady love are certain ingredients for a long term relationship, not forgetting trust! My dear friend, your poetic pen sets such wisdom on love and its deep truth. Love is never all just taking--there must be the giving back too. A love that shows little or no true concern from the other party is shallow, and dark-- as it is a selfish greed disguised as love. Such always leads to disaster. So many fall for 'romantic love', or for many others it is' in love with being in love'. Had I clung to my romantic notions of what it means to meet and marry my true love I'd be divorced by now. I learned early on that being in a healthy relationship is nothing like what I learned from the movies and other external influences. A true healthy relationship is based on encountering problems and working through them. A brilliant poem of thought my dearest poetic sister Besma.
