It rests in the sweet blessings of gloom's end That relief, when one sees beyond deep dark- Finding that Hope brings Light, as a true friend Slaying loss, once felt so savage and stark, Grief cuts down long sad shadows if allowed For mourning births seeds, of Life thus renewed By tilling hopeful ground with new love plowed Thus finding gifts that kindness has accrued.
