If I Ruled the World of Words

If I ruled the world of words
I would empower that refined bond
Wave gracefully my magic wand
And into ploughshares beat swords.
*****
I would invoke all the Muses of poetry
With the truest of voices, in a fervent chant
To cast a spell on souls and every quill enchant
And serve Art attain beauty and glory.
*****
If I ruled the world of words
I would feed its soil and clear it of weeds
Unearth all its fields and sow the finest of seeds
And reap an ink stirred by divine hummingbirds.

Your words dear poetry sis are always amazing - they reach down deep into your soul and you breath them out whilst you in turn make true magic and gems as the they fall gracefully onto you poetry page. I was so wrapped up in intense emotion my dear friend - my darling husband had to go in for a major op on the 12th of March - he was in an ICU ward. He is better now and even drives when necessary, men don't listen. Keep well Besma, hugs, love Jennifer.

Fantastic Poem, Besma, Many people who are skilled with guns are more dangerous than those who are skilled with pens because, in the hands of someone who knows how to use one, a gun can be used for lethal or harmless purposes; however, it is unknown if a pen can be used for what it was originally intended. Well Done Sister, Besma!
