What Does Poetry Means To You Contest Is Judged

I had a hard time judging this one. I'm so sorry about the delay. I decided to give everyone a first place win. Some of you went over 10 lines, I won't be so lenient in my next contest. I want to say thanks to everyone that participated in my contest :-)Alexis

I found it a challenging poem to write for the contest Alexis. I wrote my very first poem 'splendid isolation' just 3 years ago and can't believe how writing has helped me through the most difficult period of my life but I know one thing i have discovered writing )humourous) poetry is in my mother's side of the family it just took a long time to surface in me lol:-) hugs jan xx
