My darling, we are approaching our special day,
Marrying you was a special day in my life.
We became one on a cool afternoon in May,
On that day, I went from your fiancée to wife.
As we celebrate that day, please know my love,
I look forward to spending a lifetime with you.
Sweetheart, you were a gift sent from up above,
Ever since I met you, I'm no longer sad and blue.
My darling, you are the beat of my beating heart,
Our union was a match made in heaven, my dear.
We had a special connection right from the start,
In your presence, my soul is filled with so much cheer.
Babe, when we met all those years ago, it was fate,
You are, without a doubt, my best friend and soulmate.
