My life changed when I got lost in a book It gave me reason to dream big Books gave me a creative nook A lover of words was my new gig It gave me a reason to dream big Books healed me from many scars A lover of words was my new gig Free from a prison with clear bars Books healed me from many scars Imagination was no longer dormant Free from a prison with clear bars My librarian was a trusted informant Imagination was no longer dormant I was free to soar high in the sky My librarian was a trusted informant Prior to books, I’d just sit and cry I was free to soar high in the sky Books gave me a creative nook Prior to books, I’d just sit and cry My life changed when I got lost in a book 05/19/2022

Splendid Pantoum my friend Alexis, once I have a book in my hands i cannot put it down, the same with poetry, i get excited about writing it, having researched it, drafted it and re-edited it, i'm finally fine with it and after, I have asked Elias to read it, I finally post it.
