What Does Poetry Mean To You - Contest

Poetry takes me from my painful world To a land of make believe and fun Enables me to make friends, with people of other countries. Has given me back my reason for living. I write with my heart, not all of it is fiction Weaved in between the lines you will find truth. Poetry helps me to see the world through another spectrum, Colours jump out at me and a path I walk a dozen times hold special meanings, I look to the skies, each star at night, is a candle lit for others....Thats Poetry Penned 24/10/2016
