SLAM DUNK

Although I'm in a grim never ending funk,
Rising like the Phoenix will be a slam dunk.
I want to free myself of the sadness,
Rise above all the noise and the madness.
My goal is soar above the galaxy and stars,
no longer a prisoner behind invisible  bars.
If I don't shake off this profound abyss,
I will in turn forfeit a life of pure bliss.

Alexis I know exactly how it is to feel the way you say you do, I haven’t been right since my husband was so very ill, although it’s two years on it seems my old old self has gone. I smile even though my heart is aching, smiles help a lot… Beryl

You are a strong girl and I know you can get through this. Wish we were nearer id pop round all the time for cup of Joe or a nice cup of earl grey tea or take you out for a pizza or find a funny movie to see,anything to see you become a little happier again. know you are strong, it seems impossible now but you will come through all this grief.
