A Precious Gift

Life is such a precious gift. that most take for granted. I have done it as well. By not living life to my full potential each day. Life is meant to be lived. Dwelling on yesteryear and shoulda, coulda and woulda's is a waste of time. As long as the sun rises, one has a chance to do much better with time. When it's your final curtain call, times up no do-overs. Waking up and not living your very best life is likened to wasted time; Wasted time=wasted life. Life is a precious gift from, up above, be intentional on how you live life each day. One never knows when they are viewing their last sunset.

Life is so precious, a God given gift ! It is up to us how we make use of our time. If we live every moment knowing the value of time, we won't have to regret ! No body can predict when the Grim Reaper will come to claim our life. A poem inciting deep thoughts.

I agree with your philosophy dear friend and have adopted it for some time, why - because in a single second your life ends, look at what is happening world wide, shattering, many have see 'their last sunset.' Your thinking is so wise. Hugs and blessing, Jennifer.

I agree, Alexis, especially as one approaches eighty. We do need to do more doing and less thinking about doing. This was a very well written poem, my friend. I enjoyed reading your poetry today. Blessings, Bill

Insightful and powerful words, Alexis! I agree. Life is a precious gift, and I don't like to waste it with procrastination and regrets. I also don't like 'drama queens and kings.' They waste time and try to drain me of my emotional energy. I digress (again). You did a wonderful job with your poem. Have a lovely afternoon, Sara
