Mr. Sidney Poitier made history in 1964 by becoming the first black man to win the Academy Award for his performance in Lillies Of The Field.

Sidney Poitier, was good at his trade, with stellar acting skills above the grade. Made history in 64; when he actually won, His exceptional gift was second to none.

I feel that he was a good actor, also. I have enjoyed some movies in which he was a lead character. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. This one reads like a good contender for the contest. Way to go. Sara
