I feel that he was a good actor, also. I have enjoyed some movies in which he was a lead character. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. This one reads like a good contender for the contest. Way to go. Sara

I agree with your assessment! How much more pleasing when you deserve what you get! He is iconic. Love Lilies of the Field, Guess who’s coming to dinner, Heat of the Night and To Sir with Love!
