Angel

My tears turned to joy when I thought of you
Your light shined ever so bright, my dear friend
You encouraged me when I felt so blue
Death can’t stop our bond; our love won’t end


Positivity reigned in your big heart
Love and light guided your foot steps dear one
I noticed your kindness right from the start
Having you by my side, I knew I’d won

I’ll miss you so, but you don’t want me sad
Besides you aren’t gone, you are still with me 
You are in my heart, and that makes me glad
Thinking  of us fills my whole heart with glee


You were my angel in the human form
Because of you, I can face any storm
